Routine dental cleanings are important to maintaining good oral hygiene. A professional cleaning by a hygienist can remove mineralized plaque (tartar) that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing. Regular exams and cleanings, as well as routine home care, help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.

We have been going to Willow Tree Dental for years and have had a great team taking care of us! Most recently, we took our 3 year old for his first dentist appointment and Lindsay was so patient with him and took the best care of him! Just wanted to say thank you!

They have gotten me in three times on an "emergency" basis (broken/crumbled teeth and a root canal)! Always very good to me, and provide quality work! Thank you Dr. French and Kaycee!

I was going out there a few years ago and I had the best treatment from these people. I was riding ACCESS through Valley Regional and they stopped going there because it was too far. I was so disappointed they stopped going there. But the staff, the hygienist, and the dentist were all so friendly, I really miss going there. I wish ACCESS would start going there again.

I called for an appointment with only a couple days' notice due to a chipped tooth and they were able to accommodate me even though they were very busy, as it was a Saturday. I love that they're open saturdays so I don't have to use sick time at work to go to the dentist! Dr French and the hygienist who helped him (I can't remember her name!) were excellent and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. They worked on my teeth for nearly three hours and my teeth feel so much better now. I definitely recommend Dr French and his staff for all your dental needs!

I first came here because I liked their hours and location. However, my experience was extremely negative. The office staff were rude and apathetic towards my care. They kept charging me for my cleanings, which are 100% covered by my insurance. I had to ask multiple times for them to review my insurance before they did and realized their mistake, which they didn't apologize for.

I was pregnant when I first started coming and the hygienist berated me for my teeth and gums, and I left that appointment to cry in my car. I had X-rays done later, and they told me I needed 3 cavities filled. We ended up moving and I went to a new dentist. Willow tree sent over their x-rays, which were blurry and hard to make out. My new dentist took new X-rays and told me I only needed 1 filling. Willow tree also put me on a prescription toothpaste (which I had to pay for), which my new dentist said was unnecessary. The only positive experience I had here was I liked the actual dentist. But the office staff, billing, and hygienists made my experience here awful.

I have been going to this place for years and can't recommend them enough. They even helped me with a badly placed crown done by a different office. My hygienist Cindy is amazing and always a pleasure to see, like going to see a friend for a bit. They are always kind and caring and happy to help. And they have extended hours for those of us who can't always take time off for appointments. Go see them, you will be glad you did!

I went in to get x-rays and an exam for a wisdom tooth that was causing me issues. They did an amazing job helping me out. They were able to pull the tooth almost immediately, and to quote Dr. French, "It couldn't have gone better!" The staff was friendly and informative. I was beyond nervous, but they made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. I couldn't recommend them more! Thank you again to everyone. So far I'm healing up nicely.

I have been a dental patient for many decades. Never in my life have I been so disappointed in a dental office as I was in Willow Tree Dental Group in Boise. A new patient, I scheduled a cleaning for May 14. I explained that I had recently moved from the Seattle area where my teeth were cleaned by a periodontist office. I requested a thorough cleaning and arranged to have my high-end, high-quality dental Xrays sent to Willow Tree Dental in Boise in time for my appointment.

The Xrays were slightly over 12 months old. I explained that I had had a lifetime of too many Xrays so when I go to a dentist, I only agree to Xrays if there is a problem with my teeth. I had had extensive work done on my teeth and replaced some crowns in Seattle so I knew my teeth and gums were in good shape. I take very good care of my teeth. I arrived early.

The staff called my insurance company to find out what they would pay for and then the hygienist bullied and manipulated me into having a second set of Xrays, because, she said, my insurance will pay for it. The hygienist would not listen to me. She disrespected me as a patient. She did not even look in my mouth before announcing that I would have to have a full set of Xrays.

Then she bullied me while she rushed through the Xrays. She took advantage of me and my insurance company. Then she said that she would do a favor for me and do a quality cleaning similar to the one my Seattle periodontist did and not charge me extra. I was stunned. Shouldn't quality be the standard all the time? I felt disrespected and under siege.

The dentist made a joke about not choosing to do any work on my teeth as if it was up for grabs. I had my dental work caught up in Seattle before moving to Boise a few months ago. All I needed was a cleaning. I did not want to be bullied and disrespected. I wanted the staff to listen to me. I am the patient. I am in charge of my health -- not them and not my insurance company. I have lost all trust in the staff and won't be going back there.

Horribly painful cleaning. Just awful. And to top it off the hygienist cut my lip wit the scraper at the end of it, didn't notice, and didn't apologize. On a another visit the dentist told me I had to get a tooth removed. 7 years later and I still have my tooth. My friend also went here for her teeth. They kept telling her to come in for cleanings and she needed extra fillings.

After a bunch of money spent on cleanings and whitenings she realized her teeth were perfectly fine to begin with. Plus when finally going to another dentist for a cleaning they did in one session what Willow Tree decided to do in two. Their greed for unnecessary procedures and extra appointments isn't worth it one bit. DON'T GO HERE. They'll rip you off, scam you, and scare you that you're teeth are worse off than they really are.

I went there for my wife treatment. They suggested several fillings and deep cleaning and informed that I have to pay $800 from my pocket ( Which makes no sense!). After a lot of argument they adjusted the price and showed that they are doing a favor on us. It was so bad that one has to fight for price. We have to wait for 1hr for doctor!. and behavior of staff was very unpleasant.

They did horrible cleaning. Without giving proper anesthesia they started treatment. We have to told them to give proper Anesthesia. Once in between the treatment doctor went to attend another patient and I have to call him. Whole day her mouth pain a lot. Even with their cleaning teeth become extremely sensitive that you can not even take water. In the evening when we went there to see the doctor again as she was in deep pain, doctor refused to attend and staff was so bad that they told they cannot do anything for it.

Later in the evening I send a feedback to them. Next day when we went there to finish rest of the cleaning and filling (I had to go there due to insurance issue!). They simply refused to do any treatment. When we asked about the reason they told, "Since you sent a negative feedback we will not treat you." i can't believe that someone can go to such low.

Even they billed us extra. That i will clear with insurance provider. Overall my experience was terrible. I will never recommend anyone to go there. There are lot of good clinics out there. I am sure they will be far far better than Willow dental Clinic ( at S Quamash Way, Boise). I hope this review will save few persons to get ripped-off from them.
