I am changing my previous review for Arbor Dental Group. Like everyone lately, they've gone through some changes. 1st the hygienist that I loved retired. Obviously this happens. what I was disappointed about was the way they didn't let the patients know. I have a lot of anxiety at the dentist and the hygienist that took "care" of me that day was very aggressive.

I left with bleeding gums and pain still lasting days later. I did call and speak with the manager Carrie. She apologized and set my next appointment with someone else. I thought everything was resolved. Then my husband went in for his 6 month check-up and was told he would need some work. At the out of pocket cost of more than $2500! No one even went over this cost with him!

When I called to talk about it, I was told that it they had documentation that they reviewed the cost in 2016 with him! Yes, 5 years ago! If you've read this far, you need to know that the manager before, Carrie, that I spoke with, didn't care at all that I am leaving the practice. She said, and I quote, that "she couldn't have me calling all of the time " this conversation went no where. I see now how much they care about their patients. I am very disappointed.

I've hated going to the dentist most my life. I've been under regular care with arbor dental now for 3 years I believe and actually look forward to my cleanings. Everyone there that I've worked with is so wonderful. They completely make you feel at ease. I recommended arbor dental to anyone looking for a new dentist! You guys are the best!

This was the best experience having dental work done that I've ever had. and I had to have a root canal done! The Doctor and techs have been so nice and accommodating, especially with making sure I was comfortable. I felt so relaxed that I almost dozed off a few times. They are very good at explaining what they are doing and what to expect. Office staff are very sweet as well :

Everyone was awesome and so friendly! I was able to get a same day appointment for a problem tooth. Rebecca was so laid back, she really loves her job and truly cares. My teeth aren't in the best shape and she made me feel less self conscious and anxious about it. She made the whole experience easy and comfortable by relating to my problems and lots of humor. Dr. Wes was very gentle and thorough, he explained everything very well.

I'm very happy that he was able to admit my problem was more complex than what he was comfortable working with and referred me to someone that is. My previous dentist didn't and I am still dealing with the consequences so I really appreciate his honesty. Overall I highly recommend Arbor Dental Group and I'm very glad I found them!

PHENOMENAL Dental Office, from the doctors, to the hygienists, to the office staff! I actually LOOK FORWARD to my cleanings because my hygienist (Judi) is such an awesome person! Not only is she professional and knowledgeable, she is friendly & kind. She & I have a common interest of loving animals, especially our dogs, Rocky & Luna! Thank you Arbor Dental, for everything, including using warm water during cleanings for my sensitivity. Honestly, Arbor Dental reminds me of the good ol days when there were personal relationships between doctors/dentists & patients. Once you visit Arbor Dental once, you will NEVER leave;-)

My experience with this dental group is outstanding. Staff is courteous, efficient, and professional. Today the dentist found something unusual, thoroughly explained the proposed treatment, sought my input, and made certain all questions were answered to my satisfaction. I'm most pleased and am grateful for the dedicated team who will keep my dental health as a top priority. Many thanks.

Well, I've stayed with these folks for 20 years and last time I was in, the hygienist kept trying to use a tool that would remove plaque faster but was hurting my front sensitive teeth. I couldn't take the pain and kept telling her so. She said I'd have to come for more frequent cleanings so they could keep up with their other appointments and clean by hand the front teeth that are sensitive.

Then she says she was able to get it done on time anyway. I asked to see a different hygienist this next time and they brought up this previous review and told me I needed to find another dentist. I was upset at first, because they've made quite a bit of money on me over the years, but I'm thinking this is probably best. I do not recommend this place.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to dentists. I had the worlds best dentist growing up and they set a high bar. Since then I've had good and bad dentists. Arbor Dental Group totally met my high standards. The front office staff is so nice and made me feel very welcomed. My hygienist was excellent: professional and efficient, and left my teeth feeling nice and clean. Dr Brett was a pleasure to meet as well.

I knew from past dentists that I would need to have a crown put on, they told me the exact thing I expected. They were thorough in running this through my insurance and up front with exactly what it would cost. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Arbor Dental Group, and am sending my husband in next for his new patient visit. Thanks for a great experience guys!

The staff at Arbor Dental helped to ease my stress/fear about going to the dentist. The process and interactions were so awesome, from scheduling, to follow up texts, check in, check out, every single person was friendly and helpful. I can't fully express my appreciation and gratitude for Hannah and Dr Strange, they both made sure that I was comfortable, answered all my questions, they are both so friendly and kind and very professional. I am happy that I am now a patient of Arbor Dental and no longer feel stressed about taking care of my dental health.

I am a category 1000 panic and past trauma dentist patient. I don't think I would recommend anybody other than Arbor Dental Group. The amount of compassion, patience, dedication for comfort, and passion for their work is exponential at this place. They took every precaution and used every tool to keep me calm and get the job done. I have been avoiding care for years due to my significant fear.

Thank you Arbor Dental Group! The x-ray technician is patient and loving, the receptionist Whitney and colleagues made me feel very welcome and supported me the whole way. Dr. Matt is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and most importantly honest. Need a dentist? Go to Arbor Dental Group

I adore this dentists office- yes adore! The staff here are just incredible. Caring, kind and attentive. I went to around 5 other dentists to get work done and all of them stated that I needed very expensive procedures to fix my teeth. When I got to Arbor Dental, they fixed my teeth without all those procedures and my teeth feel great and I haven't had any issues for years now.

When I went through Chemotherapy, they made me trays free of charge and counseled me with love and care to ensure my teeth were well taken care of. My 6yo goes here too and they're great with her. Elaine remembers who I am every time. Dr. Brett is energetic and does a great job. Every single hygienist I've seen is incredible and does a great job, always listens to my concerns throughout. If I could give them 5 more stars, I would.

"Treat You Like Family", was stated on the website. I suppose if the family missed coming to dinner once you no longer welcomed them? I had a medical emergency, and was DENIED scheduling an appointment as I missed an appointment TWO YEARS ago! I stayed with Arbor Dental, when acquired by Dr. Brett Lopez. I attempted to be loyal - even though the service was not the same quality.

If you have lots of cash, never miss an appointment - you will probably be treated by royalty. However, if you are anything less than a perfect patient - this business will (not so kindly) so you the door! Much better quality, and respectful, dentists can be found elsewhere. (NOTE: at the time of this writing this business was only rated a 3 - sounds like other folks are not happy too).

Walked in for my appointment, was rushed to the back and asked if my insurance changed simultaneously. I gave a very unsure answer because my wife handles our insurance. Come to find out, my insurance was changed and they don't accept the new one, so I got stuck with a $300+ bill because the dummy front desk girl didn't bother to check. Now they refuse to discount it, despite going there for several years and intending to switch insurances again so I could continue to go back. Very, very dishonest business. Shame on you, especially during COVID.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. My father has been a patient for 2 years at this practice. Arbor dental group has said they are remaining open for emergencies only. Turns out my AT RISK father cracked a tooth and developed an abscess. He called into arbor dental group and was told by Carolyn, they're only seeing patients of the practice, which HE IS.

And then proceeds to tell him he can't be seen because of his unpaid balance of $67, which then later sees that he paid it. And was still told he can't be seen. If my father isn't even a patient CAROLYN then how is there a balance? My father paid an unpaid balance months ago and still can't be seen? This practice strives on "family" and "helping patients" but turned away my father who developed an abscess, and arbor dental group should know how life threatening an abscess should be.

This practice DOES NOT put patient care first, they only care about their money. If you want to be treated like family I suggest you guys look else where for dental treatment.

I have been going to Arbor Dental for about 15 years, and it used to be an amazing place. About 4 - 5 years ago, the ownership changed, and it has definitely lost it's luster to me. It seems like there is always something extra they want to do or have me buy. It feels like it is less about taking care of patients and more about making money, now.

It is less about the patient relationship and about moving people through. It is simply not the same experience I had with the previous owners. I am considering looking for that "previous experience" with a new dentist.

Have been going here for years. I've seen 3 doctors Kendall Brett and now Matt recently had a senitivse spot where I had been clenching my teeth Matt filled and smoothed it in minutes no problem pain free Same visit they recommend I get two cavities filled back to back upper left so I do it whatever all num when they finish bite doesn't feel right Sharp edge whatever I had to come back next week for a deep clean that they highly recommend but I've never needed before, go in for my cleaning explain that there's a sharp edge and I can't floss without breaking the floss. Anyways they do the left side first another appt is needed for the right as it has more work to do "" num me totally up run some sand paper?

Between the two teeth that had the back to back cavities filled that have never been noticeable to me. Do a deep clean it takes an hour just the left side. After the num wears off my cavities are now obviously exposed totally sensitive to everything anyways have to go back for the right side next week so I wait til then day off a recent blizzard office is empty go in for the right side deep clean which has more teeth per quadrant on the bill. Takes 30 minutes don't even get num for this side.

I don't even mention my cavities at this point I'm planning on finding a new dentist on the way out the desk lady tells me my next cleaning will be out of pocket because I've used my insurance up for the year on a deep clean that never even happen and some fillings for cavities that are now exposed and will obviously need redone I didn't even mention the part where I'm pretty sure they tried to pry my 25 year old filling loose during the first half the the "deep" clean anyways maybe they will read this and fix it I am scheduled back in a couple weeks to check how the deep clean went. UPDATE my insurance informed me they determined the procedure was NOT necessary and had the dentist rebill them for 3 per quadrant which was paid( over paid with my out of pocket ) however lake arbor is now sending me a bill with different more expensive billing 4 per quadrant X 2 which was never a thing ( maybe my review got their attention ) as a in network provider for AETNA with my plan they are required to pay the cost of any work done that is deemed unnecessary ( by Aetna ), my insurance has offered to represent me in this matter so I will no longer be contacting arbor dental group but it is definitely a SCAM with some billing discrepancy BEWARE also I have over half of my annual balance still available and TWO free cleanings that they were telling me would all be out of pocket. WHAT A JOKE! Found a great new dentist have redone all of the previous work for minimal cost in addition to the older filling they messed with

Considering not coming back. I went here a couple of weeks ago and while I know I may have problems with my teeth, Elaine who was my dental hygienist literally tried to scare me to come back sooner rather than later. She literally turned to me and said "You're not going to have your teeth when you get older. You're not" multiple times. I understand that I may have problems with my teeth, but trying to scare me to coming back is really shitty, especially after I told her we had financial stuff we wanted to prioritize.

She even pretended to understand our financial issues, only to be really mean about my teeth. The 2 stars are for Dr. Strange. Otherwise, I don't know if I want to come back to this place. So much for traumatizing dentist visits.

The doctors at this place were awesome and the staff was very nice. I went in with anxiety about seeing the dentist and they made it as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. But the only reason that they are not getting 5 out of 5 stars is because of the after hours staff. I called on the weekend and a lady named Gisele was extremely rude to me.

I tried to explain to her that they told me to call back if I didn't hear back from the doctor and she literally yelled at me saying " I will let him know you called again and then hung up." First of all I was told to call you guys back if I didn't hear back and secondly why on earth are you yelling at a Patient who is in pain for no reason and then hanging up on them. It's people like this that give a company a bad rap. Absolutely terrible customer service.

I have sent this letter to Dr Hillam and am waiting for a response. I am sharing this with you as many woman have bladder problems and I am sure most of you notice your jaw aches after xrays. We must find the true answer to tooth decay and body problems, which have not been addressed by the US medical system, or we would all be well. Letter Please pass this on to the Dr Hillam who saw me, as he said mercury fillings were fine and he has mercury fillings.

I do have a bladder problem. Can't wait to get the mercury out of my teeth! Heavy metals can cause chronic urinary and reproductive health problems, according to a study on dental fillings by the CDC https://www.naturalnews.com/2017-11-30-heavy-metals-can-cause-chronic-urinary-and-reproductive-health-problems-according-to-a-study-on-dental-fillings-by-the-cdc.html We have 100 years of killer Rockefeller medicine with hundreds of universities doing science and yet doctors still don't look at the whole body? Integrated medicine is the answer. FYI, my jaw hurt in various places after seeing you and having xrays.

I thought it was the cleaning that was making my mouth ache, nope it's nuc rads from xrays. My teeth didn't hurt at all before seeing the dentist and for 3 weeks after, whole areas of my jaw ache and now I have cold and hot sensitivities. Never had that before. I would like you to pay for someone to see what the radiation content is in my mouth and the natural science to remove it.

I am taking Clororafila to counter act some radiation effects. I will never have another xray unless it is in an emergency. This is what is killing our teeth and now insurance push us doing it once a year? No way. I want a response back from the doctor on this new study and the recommendation for a doctor to look at the nuc rads in my mouth and jaw. I will put in the Dr's response when I get it. If I get it.

I have been a patient here for 15 years and have always kept my appointments and paid my bills on time. I recently had joint replacement and was strongly advised by both the surgeon and ortho hospital to contact my dentist before any future procedures as it is imperative they be aware and I take antibiotics before hand. I also had to wait for 3 month to have any work done.

When I called to reschedule a cleaning appointment not only did the 2 people I spoke to not have any idea what I was talking about they made no effort to connect me with someone who could. The 2nd person kept trying to reschedule me for the next week even though I told her repeatedly I needed to wait 2 more months. Out of frustration I told her I was not confident they were capable of handling my health needs and could not schedule at this time.

I continued to get robo calls and texts to schedule an appointment but no one reached out to address my concerns. I finally sent a very detailed letter and asked someone that was knowledgeable call me to discuss. I waited 2 weeks and heard nothing back. I am now shopping for a new dentist. 15 years and not only do they apparently not know how to handle a patient with a joint replacement but they could care less if you leave. Sad and unprofessional.

Website info that comes up on Yelp is years out of date. Dr Mark Kinard sold the practice a long time ago. Dentists, facilities and dental techs are still great. The accounting though has not kept up with the times. In late 2015, there is still no online bill pay option--not even a Paypal account. Arbor needs to update from putting clients onto snail mail and paper checks.

I've been going here for a good 12 years. I love this place. Staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. Diana is the best and always does my teeth. In fact she is usually the go to person for our whole family. She is like family. Always remember our stories and always spends time explaining our teeth to educate us. I would recommend her and this place to anyone. Was nervous when this family owned office became part of a bigger system but they have kept up with their standards and the office is always clean which is a must for me.

I am very impressed with Arbor Dental Group. I went in for tooth pain and coincidentally, I was due for a cleaning. They managed to fit the cleaning into my visit there. The assistant who was assisting the Dr was very friendly as was the hygienist. While doing the cleaning, the hygienist snapped my bottom permanent retainer. The metal wire, which was originally one long piece of wire was then in 2 separate pieces.

She apologized and stated that they would "re-glue" it. Because this is a wire, you can see how this can be very problematic as teeth can quickly shift to the position they were in prior to having braces. They recommended I get it replaced immediately, offering no recommendation to an orthodontist or solution to the problem. Later that day, I found an orthodontist who was willing to replace the broken retainer at a cost of $389.

This bothered me because obviously, my retainer broke due to the hygienist tugging too hard while performing the cleaning. Anyway, I called Arbor Dental and spoke to the office manager, Karry, in hopes of receiving a reimbursement for their error. She stated that she would speak to both of the women who worked on me in order to find a solution. A few days later, she stated that both women said that the wire had NOT snapped, but simply came unglued.

I mentioned that I would be willing to have the orthodontist speak to them directly in order to confirm that yes, the retainer wire had been completely severed and that it needed to be replaced immediately. At first, Karry offered to pay for half of the expense, to which I objected, and she finally offered to pay the entire amount. So, while I appreciate that Karry worked hard to address my issues and concerns, the fact that both women were dishonest about what happened to my retainer was a bit disconcerting.

Besides my experience with these two women in particular, everyone else at Arbor is extremely welcoming and friendly. They made me feel as though I had known them for years! From the front desk staff to the woman who assisted me with being fitted with whitening trays, I had a wonderful experience! Another thing to mention is that the wait time in the waiting room was very short! Despite 2 dishonest employees, I highly recommend this office!

I have been going to this dentist for a few years now. They have recently changed owners and have now become a crown, implant and whitening factory. It has become all about $ and I will no longer be giving them any more of mine. I am a perio maintenance patient and need and PAY FOR this service. Last time I was there for a scheduled cleaning, I never saw a dentist, was hounded about whitening treatments and purchasing unnecessary services.

They did not measure my gums, just tried to sell me some overpriced product that I did not need. It's too bad, because the people there are nice enough but it appears they have lost all focus on my actual treatment plan needs. Both my husband and I will not be going to them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. Arbor Dental, you have lost my family's business.

Maybe you should rethink how you treat your older and loyal patients. Please remember, we as older consumers have lots of dental choices out there and most of us don't like feeling bilked.

By far, the BEST dentist office I've ever been to. The office is super nice, and clean. Warm and cozy even. Every single member of their staff treats you like they're genuinely happy that you're there, including the Doc. They're also incredibly transparent about billing and processing, and truly educate you on your personal dental situation.

I just moved to Broomfield, and had just received a full exam and xrays at Lincoln Dentistry in Loveland. We redid the exam at Arbor Dental, and WOW, my knowledge of my own mouth seriously tripled. AND they did another set of Xrays for free, since we couldn't obtain records in a timely fashion from my old dentist. I'm definitely sending the whole family to Arbor.

I am really stuck between giving 3 and 4 stars on this one because I don't love the size of the practice. It is giant! There are probably 10 chairs all in a row (with walls in between) and they are all full with a hygienist helping each patient and a few (#3?) dentists walking between working on people. I don't love the fact that it is so busy and it makes it feel like some sort of assembly line.

That being said, the dentist was really nice and the hygienist was helpful and nice. If you don't mind a large practice, you will probably enjoy this place, as for me? I probably won't be back, I just like that one-on-one feeling of smaller dentists. It was $299 before insurance for a basic preventative appointment.

I did a periodontics surgery with them and was told to pay $235 while the total charge was $680. I was very happy with them until I received a bill from them and also an explaination of coverage from my insurance company. Apparently they made a mistake when estimating my charge. I talked to them and my insurance company several times, and it turned out that my insurance can only cover $137.5 and now I have to pay for the rest $307.5!

I could have decided not to do the surgery if I knew that I need to pay over 500 dollars. I understand that they can only give an estimate, but come on, an estimate can't be off by that much! Either they don't know what they are doing or they do but just want to cheat me to do the surgery. I am done with them, I have cancelled my next surgery appointment with them and will never go back. The doctors are good, if you want to use them, be careful about the "estimated cost" they give you.
