The team at Westgate Dental is always warm and welcoming. Every staff member greets you with a smile and goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. This visit was my 3 year olds first, and he was cranky from being over tired. Iris went above and beyond to help him calm down and feel comfortable with each element of his visit. She was patient, calm, and so caring. Overall, I cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone at this location. We look forward to our visits every 6 months.

I went to Westgate Dental, in April and I have to say everyone there was amazing. When I first called to make an appointment, I had spoken to Lisa and if I am to be honest, she played a big part, on me following through with my appointment, just because of how pleasant she was and it felt genuine. When I arrived, I felt bad because I was a little late but Kyla, at the front desk was so very nice and she had such a welcoming personality.

She checked me in and shortly after Abby came to get me and she was also, so very nice. She introduced herself and went over, what she was going to do and she really made me feel comfortable, with everything. Carmela, who had taken be back for pics and Suela who, works with the financing, payments, etc was also very, very nice. Dr. Christian. What can I say about Dr. Christian?

He was wonderful! I have been so self conscious, with my smile but he was so funny that he made me laugh, like loud. I still remember his joke. He's professional, yet welcoming and he's also extremely nice and he makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. He explains everything and he doesn't rush. Did I mention how nice he was? I know this is long and to be honest, I really don't do much surveys but everyone that I interacted with, were just so wonderful and amazing that I had to do this. I want them all to know, how much I appreciate them and I'm so glad to be a patient, at Westgate Dental. I can't wait to smile again.like really smile and laugh out loud.

This office is SO AMAZING!I'm so glad I found it. Everyone was very, very kind from the receptionist, dental hygienist, Doctor to the coordinator. They made me feel so comfortable. The dental exam made me realize I had issues going on i was never made aware of at other dental offices I went to. Larissa the dental hygienist was very kind and she explained everything in details. Also, Dr kluz was very kind and she explained so well the procedures I will be having. I am so happy they will be helping me have a better dental hygiene. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. Thank you so much for your services.

Excellent experience. Dr. Hart was great! The front desk staff is too notch. I have been to many dentists and this place is all around impressive. Friendly staff, caring dentists, high quality equipment, in a modern but warm environment. They really care if you are comfortable.

I had a cavity filled in February. They stated to me that I would have to pay a portion and that the insurance company would pay the rest. Come April I receive an invoice for the remainder. I then called them and ask them why do I have to pay the remainder when they told me my insurance wouldn't cover it. They said that initial conversation with them was just an estimate and that they (Westgate) are truly out of network with my insurance.

So why would you accept me as a patient if I'm out of network and also not tell me that I'm out of network when you checked my insurance. I would have not gone with you to begin with. Additionally, there was other work they wanted to do on my teeth and at the time a declined. I'm glad I did because my bills would have been much higher. The process they have you go through is very salesmen-like and not appropriate for a healthcare office. I would not recommend.

Beware this dental office is all about the money! Fraud! They will sit you down in an office and "fast talk". They talked me into paying over $2,000 upfront for unnecessary services, telling me that they will submit an insurance claim. I just found out my insurance company paid them $580.00 Dec. 2021 and the office manager Rajmonda insists the office never received.

They offered to send me a partial refund for the services that I prepaid that I do not want done, but there is still a huge amount including this $580.00 that my insurance company paid that should of been reimbursed to me. I called my dental insurance and am filing a consumer complaint. My insurance company also informed me that they paid for a crown to be placed on my son which has not been completed.

They should have billed at the date of actually placing the crown. Now my son still needs his crown placed and I will have to pay for someone else to do it. Well, our insurance will have to pay and then investigate why they are paying twice for the same procedure. I have been looking for a reputable dentist that i can trust, this practice is clean with a modern building, but guard your wallet! Check your insurance claims!

My experience at Westgate was amazing! They were kind, professional, honest, and most importantly, willing to provide education on how I can improve my oral hygiene. I have no complaints whatsoever. They have tvs set up that you can watch while having your teeth cleaned, they have heated massage chairs, sunglasses to help with the glare from the overhead light they use and more.

My experience at Westgate Dental Care was fabulous! Dr Hart made me feel comfortable as she treated me for jaw clenching. She carefully explained the procedure and how it works to lessen clenching and pain associated with this condition. The office and exam rooms are beautiful and the dental chairs are so comfortable, and most importantly, the staff are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Westgate Dental Care for all your dental needs.

I've had bad teeth my adult life, I was referred by a friend and she was right. Dr. Brady removed 2 wisdom teeth in 20 minutes. Gave me a number for emergency or just stupid questions. My last wisdom extraction took 2 hours. Dr. Hart has been great with follow ups, and setting up my plan to go forward. The rest of the staff has been fantastic always friendly and incredibly helpful.

I used to LOVE this dentist. They have a lot of extra touches which led me to recommend this place to several people. HOWEVER, I had a cavity filled that still causes me pain over a year later! I had it filled and after a couple months, it was still causing pain so I went back only for them to file the filling down and they sent me home. I went back a few months after that for my cleaning, and mentioned it still hurt the same and they filed it down even more!

Here I am more than a year later still in pain, unable to eat anything on that side of my mouth. They constantly tried to get me to change my appointment times usually within short notice, they tried to sell me on additional services every single visit and overcharged me on more than one occasion to which I had to go back and fourth with my insurance to credit me back for. You've been warned.

Came for my last cleaning today and Iris was wonderful. Friendly, gentle and informative. So appreciative for the massage & heat in the chair since my back was sore from shoveling last night. The office is bright, airy and very clean and the staff takes away any anxiety from going to the dentist.

The service was amazing! It was a relaxed atmosphere all around and peaceful! It was my daughter's first visit there after trying a few other. She said she wasn't scared at all and liked the place. She was smiling, answering while getting treatment. The staff was all very polite especially Iris who assisted my daughter that day! Very friendly, polite and explained everything in detail. I am happy to have found this dental for my family's future dental care. Highly Recommended

TLDR: Was amazing 6 years ago. New location, high debt has changed practices to focus on profit and not service. Look elsewhere folks. Customer since 2014. A lot has changed since then. They were awesome back then, before the new office. Now, the only item the Owner focuses on is profit. Expect to have bait and switch practices like "your insurance will cover this", but in reality, they will cover a portion and the office will expect you to cover the rest.

The owner can't seem to keep dentists and hygienists employed. Because of pay issues and his practices of pushing add on purchases (like fluoride) hygienists have left. And the dentists are a revolving door. In fact, he does not employee any of the original employees of his old location in downtown Arlington Heights. The owner of the practice was a dentist, he does not practice any longer or its impossible for him to see you.

Rather he hired a digital marketing agency to pump people into his new practice not content with hiring his own team. You make an appointment and expect to receive several demand force type SMS reminders to the point of harassment. The funniest one I received is this "We need to hear from you by today at 3:00PM in order to guarantee this time". So with most companies you make an appointment and you're good.

Not with Peter. You have to confirm the appointment. I have received 7 calls and 5 text messages in the past two days. That's ridiculous. I'm not even going to talk about the fact my wife's crown was screwed up and now she has to get a root canal or the fact they tried to charge me $700 for a mouth guard when they said my insurance would cover it. Yeah. Sad. *** The "business owner" could be described as a reputation management company. Shaming a current customer is just speaks volumes about how they treat patients here.

Who do you think your customers are? Random people with no day job? We all work for a living and speaking down to someone who gave you a bad review instead of trying to change your practices shows your true intentions.

First time here with my kids and they are great. The made my child feel at ease. My child who previously hated going to the dentist, was so comfortable with the staff. Highly recommend.

They are very pushy in terms of sales. The facility is very nice, and the people are very nice, but the few times I've gone there I left feeling slimy. It's just constant upselling and work they want to do on you. While the medical advice is solid, they need to take no for an answer. Many people can't afford to pay 100's of dollars at a moments notice to get sealants, fillings, etc. and they constantly pressure you and don't accept "no" or "I'll think about it".

My most recent visit, the hygienist was telling me about sealants I need and after I said no like 5 times, her personality completely changed and she did not want to make small talk she just wanted me to leave. Not sure if they get commission on sales or something? Either way it's a business, just too aggressive for my liking.

The appointment and everything was fine except the offer they gave me for a dental equipment. The hygienist told me there would be a $20 rebate which another hygienist confirmed. Next day my husband picked the item up and got paperwork for a $5 rebate. I called and was advised it should be $20 but then they checked and said oh whoops should be $5 only. How does that make sense? It seems some of the team (the ones that put it in the bag knew) and the rest of the team (that I spoke with earlier) didn't know

I don't recommend this place. The Dentist I saw(barely saw) popped her head in for literally 2 seconds didn't explain anything didn't take time to ask if I had any questions, just left me with the dental assistant and tried to have me schedule a root canal of course. At least the facility looked clean and well maintained.

Went in for a cleaning last week as a new patient and had a WONDERFUL experience. I ended up needing a root canal, Dr. Rosenblat & Ruby were AWESOME. took great care of me (high anxiety) answered all my question, procedure was quick and easy. will absolutely be referring all my friends & family here

I liked Westgate a lot at first and recommended it to all my friends and family. The reason I'm not going back is all the surprise bills I have received. Upon schedule an appointment for a procedure, you pay the price that is estimated after insurance coverage, which makes perfect sense. But then each time I would get a bill for $300+ because they underestimated.

I didn't think anything of it until it happened again after I had already paid $600 out of pocket for 3 filling exchanges. Everybody was nice until I showed concern for my ability to pay the extra $300, I was met with a cold "well we did the services so you have to pay" and hung up on. (Second time posting this because the first got deleted?)

My new dental practice! Do you like modern, friendly and innovative techniques in a new building, open 12 hours a day, six days a week?! If "Yaas B" is your answer, check this place out. My previous dentist was cool but after approx 10 yrs, and a move to a fancier commercial building office location, seemed to not want dental customers with insurance. wtf right?

We broke up when he ditched Cigna back in 2015(?), and now again in 2021 with his hatred of Metlife. Coincidentally, imho, his people skills have also evaporated. along with most of the OG front office staff. SMH, referrals to shady periodontal pals didn't help the sitch. look for the Perio review saga starting there in July of 2020 :-( Anywhoo. this place was on Google and I checked them out, they ARE in network with Metlife Dental PPO! Clean, with YAY modern tablets over tree-killing paper (bring a stylus, the UI checkboxes are too small/screen sensitivity is poor), organized within a busy but tight-ship practice. Woot! So. tldr; when I called to inquire about a cleaning, the front staff person "Lisa" just impressed me SO MUCH. after all the other duds off of Metlife's list. Westgate weren't on this Metlife providers list. but their 5 star Google reviews had me hopeful. aaand. JACKPOT!

So now currently catching up on post-pandemic mouth maintenence, and LURVE Dr. Kluz and her assistant Vinny. Lisa's 11yo daughter was right, she IS the most painless injector of dental anesthesia I have ever experienced. AMAZING! Note: To book a major dental procedure, a deposit of 50% of the patient portion (Tx Plan) are due to BOOK the appointment, and remainder due prior to service, upon arrival. Newer (to me) style of dental practice or business model which surprised me but in retrospect, seems fair, as the appt took 3 hours for the 2 temp crowns and I still have to go back for the permanent ones. and then get 2 fillings. who knew it'd take so long?

Time has to be blocked. Optics were initially questionable, but I vetted this and checking the pre-estimates from Metlife's response, validated the numbers. All legit. Thanks for the exceptional service, Dr Kluz and Vinny, see you soon. and Westgate for the Starbucks cards for every check-in. =

I had my routine visit to get my pearly whites cleaned up. Iris is an amazing hygienist who is super sweet, gentle and thorough! That 1 hour in the comfy heated massage chair flew by and was probably the most relaxed that I've been in a long time! Also, now you can watch a show or movie instead of staring at the ceiling tiles. Their new safety protocols for covid made me feel safe and cared for. Go see all of the amazing staff at Westgate right now!

I found Westgate when we moved here and am so grateful I did! Their entire team is amazing at putting you at ease during your visit, from start to finish! The dental and financial staff are so caring and professional and I cannot thank them enough for the support they have given me. I needed some work done and felt pretty bad about how long I waited. Not one time did the staff make me feel bad or judged, they are focused on your health and just getting it fixed. Highly recommend this practice!

This is the place for you if you like to swap spit with the same person that's in the waiting room They sit three patients in a row and then they run from room to room to room working on each one When I walked in there before my treatment I could eat an apple now I can't even chew on a rotten banana Their number one priority is making all the money they can and it is not your safety and it's not your dental treatment at all I know that for a fact because I gave $1400 and then next week I was in there I had three people asking me for more money so when they say open up wide they mean your wallet

If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO to this place, unless you want to end up with endless bills. Their finance department is on a mission to get as much money as possible from their customers. Every time I went to get a procedure done they gave me a price and then after a month or two they would send me additional bills for remaining balances.

If you have insurance you must get everything approved first before even bothering of going since they give an estimate of what the insurance should pay but conveniently after some time they collect this from you because the insurance didn't process the claim. My husband had a deep cleaning done for which the insurance should have cover and ending up paying thousands of dollars because their claim didn't proceed. The insurance mention that the provided xrays didn't justified the deep cleaning but they proceed anyway.

I absolutely love this place. Have been coming here for years and ita always a pleasant experience. The staff is I credibly friendly and knowledgeable and the doctors are out of this world. I recently moved significantly further away and still make the drive out here just for the positive experience.

Updated review: Way overcharged me for fillings- did work they told me they were going to do and extra that they didn't tell me they were going to do and charged me for it! On a separate visit, they told my sister she "needed" a ton of work done. She got a second opinion and was told her teeth were fine. Also, our mom (a recently retired dental assistant) looked at the plans and said the work was unnecessary.

What a scam! They have a beautiful new facility so I guess they need to pay for it. Reply Comment: I already tried to work with you on the extra charge after it happened. I was given a slight discount on it at least, but it should never have been done/charged in the first place. Dr. Kics was great on my first visit (friendly, thorough, gentle, etc.), but I got someone else the second time.

Dr. Heart performer a root canal on me and totally messed my tooth up. Had to go see a specialist and have to get a surgery now. I feel like she is always in a hurry and I understand mistakes happen but now I have to pay to get a root canal surgery. Others then that- it's a great facility and awesome staff.

What service/procedure is it going to be this visit? Went in and the hygienist said I have deep grooves and staining is occurring. The hygienist suggested I get a sealer put on my teeth. My wife goes in and they tell her the same thing. This place has become a car dealer with a boatload of dentists and hygienist.not to mention a dedicated person that is their financing specialist. If that doesn't tell you something right there that they have someone who's sole responsibility is to talk to you about financing.
