Was there for less than 30 minutes for a cleaning. Roughly half that time was spent bullying me to get x rays and pay for a deep cleaning. The person who cleaned my teeth spent about 10 minutes doing so claiming not once but twice the 142$ cleaning was worthless and that I needed a deep cleaning. I asked why they offer a 142$ cleaning that is worthless and got no answer. Said the dentist would not see me without taking x rays. Won't go back.

I have not been to the dentist in many years. I had a great experience yesterday at Westend Dental. First of all I appreciate the multiculturalism amongst the dental staff. Second I am happy with the thorough explanations I received before each dental service. I have to return in a few weeks to get my wisdom tooth extracted. I'm nervous especially since I am pregnant, but Dr. Storti and staff made me feel at ease. Check this place out ladies and gentlemen!

Swindlers. Convinced me to get a night guard. Never mentioned the $600 price tag. Then told me it was mentioned in the fine print and not their fault. I NEVER would have agreed to have them make it if I had known the price. They still have the mouth guard and have been harassing me for years to come get it. I can barely afford rent due to covid and loss of work. Sorry, you are not getting $600 out of me. I'm sure their business will not go under due to a mouth guard. Terrible business ethics.

My friend recommended Westend Dental for Invisalign and met with Dr. Fiore for a consultation. Throughout the Invisalign process, Dr. Fiore, made me feel very comfortable with the process. They always thoroughly answered my questions even when they were busy. After completing Invisalign, I could not be happier with the end result. I have straight teeth and love my smile now! Thank you Westend Dental!

I have no complaints about the quality of the dentistry, I do caution anyone who considers becoming a Westend patient that you will have x-rays pushed on you every time you come in, the dentist will give you a laundry list of "mandatory" procedures that have to be addressed immediately. Questioning this expensive list, I went to another dentist, who said that all of these were not mandatory and that many of them were questionable. Westend is located in an affluent area, and the thinking may be that clients in this zip code can afford the highest prices. If not directly ethical, this is certainly a business practice that is questionable.

I will share the same review I shared on google, plus what has transpired today. "I was a flight attendant during the time Covid-19 was already in full swing. I was furloughed from my job and everything was locked down and closed. But this dentist office who wasn't even opened decided to put me in collections for a mere $180. Are you kidding me?!

How dare you?! How insensitive are you?! You weren't even opened and we weren't even allowed out of our homes due to the mandate of the city. I had one more appointment left, you couldn't wait till I came back to bill me in person?! You guys disgust me utterly and I feel truly betrayed and hurt by you." Today I got a letter in the mail by your creditor.

I had already arranged a payment plan with them but the letter stated. "You have not made satisfactory payment arrangements to pay this delinquent debt. Our client West End Dental has authorized us to report this unpaid collection account to one or more national credit bureaus". You know what?! I paid this in full today because I can't even have a reasonable payment plan without you threatening me. West End Dental, I will never recommend you nor do business with you ever again. This is my honest review of you.

Still going here. The office has been updated and is awesome. More importantly, the Drs. And staff continue to be excellent. Up to date on the most current research, completely professional, usually take us right on time. These guys are great and Dr. Fiore is just awesome, plain and simple. I don't have tolerance for nonsense. If you are like me.

Go here. Covid Update. The office has taken many safety measures and it was obvious that they are taking patient safety seriously. Kudos to the awesome staff and docs. Professional as always.

Great experience today for a cleaning and X-rays. Everyone was very polite and hygienic which made me very comfortable especially with the pandemic and precautions everyone has to adjust to. Excellent practice I already booked my second appoint thanks again Dr. Z

Still receiving bills after I was told they would waive the fee. My previous review stands - bunch of crooks. Bait and switch - if you still go there - now is the time to switch! Please keep your word and credit my outstanding. Terrible.

I was here today for a filling! This Dr. Storti is amazing, as I never had a moment of pain while getting my filling, which I find amazing! I never had any pain getting my teeth cleaned either, which was a new experience for me! I am going to call this dental practice the new No Pain Dental practice! These practitioners work at making this a pain free place!

I went back to WestEnd Dental to get 2 crowns. It took 3 hours, but Dr. Fiori was incredibly wonderful! He worked so hard trying to make my temp crowns! No pain! My Dental Assistant was just wonderful also! This place is just incredible and pain free!

This place violates your privacy! Very disappointed, I came in for a regular cleaning to this place as I just recently moved Into the area. I noticed a recording device that was there sitting in the counter recording as the dentist and I had a conversation. First of all, this is all against HIPAA regulations and illegal. I over heard the assistants talk about the recordings and this makes me very uncomfortable.

I understand you want to properly trained the staff but you CAN NOT record exams because that's privacy. Be aware and please just go somewhere else. Patient and doctor conversations shouldn't be recorded. I will report this issue. If my conversation and exam got recorded because I am a new patient, this means everyone else's gets recorded too. Also, don't call yourself and orthodontist. No one here has the education of a specialist. Orthodontists are specialist. To my knowledge everyone here is a general dentist.

This is by far the best dentist office I've ever been to! The Westend Dental team is amazing and super friendly. Fun usually isn't the word to describe a dentist appointment but I seriously enjoyed myself! The team took me on a tour, had a TV to watch during the cleaning and was done within not more than an hour. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back in the future!

I lost a crown (biting into frozen chocolate!) in the very front of my mouth and my regular dentist was away, but his service recommended I contact Westend Dental, as they were close by. I made the appointment, went, was examined, given the estimate to re-cement it ($400!), and the dentist did the work. When he was finished, he mentioned that he had replaced the fiber post with a metal one, and that if I bit into something hard again and displaced the crown, the metal post would likely shatter the tooth's root (I knew that meant an implant).

This was grim news, as I lose this crown about once a year, but on the fiber post, the worst was a trip to my dentist to replace it for a reasonable fee, as the fiber post it rested on was so forgiving. When the Westend dentist offered the mirror to me, I saw that the replaced crown was pitched far forward, out of line with my other teeth, and was crooked, too, and although I protested weakly, the dentist replied that that particular placement was necessary to avoid pressure on the crown when chewing and biting.

He didn't say anything about it being crooked. It was, in short, a really disappointing experience, but perhaps necessary, I thought, because, what do I know of the mysteries of dentristy? I suffered the next three weeks. The replaced crown poked into my upper lip from the inside. It provoked a mild lisp. It was 'open' in the back and food was continually getting stuck there, and flossing couldn't reach it.

There was a bad, rotten taste coming from it. And I couldn't smile. But what could I do? Go back? The Westend dentist had clearly indicated he'd done all he could when I complained on the spot. I had a cleaning appointment with my regular dentist and told him what happened and asked him if he thought the work had been botched. He tsk-ed when he saw the crown, but refrained from criticizing Westend, saying only that it was 'tricky business' to replace a crown straight on an existing post, that it was curious they'd replaced a fiber post with a metal one, since metal ones are a bit old-fashioned, 'but perhaps that's all they had, ' and that if he could tap it out without breaking the root, he could fix it.

And he could tap it out--because the cement Westend had used wasn't the good kind that is light-cured, the kind my regular dentist uses, but some deficient kind that came right out with a few wiggles, and the post as well. Thank God. So my regular dentist was able to replace the metal post with a fiber one, put the crown in straight and well-cemented, and restore my dental hygiene, my pronunciation, and my smile. For $260. Please take this as a cautionary tale. Bright and shiny places don't always have the necessary skills. If your regular doc is out of town--try to wait it out.

I went to West End Dental once to have a cavity filled and never returned. The doctor caused nerve damage that left the tip of my tongue numb for over a month. I had a remaining balance of $57 to which the doctor agreed to waive that charge due to the circumstances. Over 5 years later, West End Dental submitted the charge to a debt collector and reported the account on my credit report. I've tried calling endlessly to get a resolution to which the account manager has hung up on me and the doctors have never returned my calls. Further, the doctor that performed the filling left the firm and they claim they have no record.

I've been going to Westend for a while and absolutely love the staff. At my most recent visit I was having problems with my gums, Amy the hygienist put me at ease and had me laughing the entire time. Thank you Westend staff for always making me smile and giving me the best treatment!

This was my first visit to the office. I called on Saturday and they were able to fit me in on Monday. We have recently moved into the area, so I was looking for a dentist with good Yelp recommendations and close by. The office staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Zander was very patient and explained the procedures and options very well. They were even able to address my dental issue in one visit. A great visit and very accommodating.

It's been a while since I reviewed WestEnd & so it's time for an update. My family has now been going here for 3 years I believe! (If not a little more, time flies) Always friendly, professional & yet casual & relaxed. They either have amazing memories or take excellent notes, either way I'm always impressed at the things they remember both related to the service I'm receiving & just from personal conversation.

They do their job amazingly well, pushing me to do more to care for my mouth yet not hounding me & dwelling on the areas that I'm clearly deficient in. Billing is always as close as can be! They give an estimate of what insurance covers, I pay the difference. Sometimes I owe a few bucks more but I consider that normal. Dental insurance is a fickle thing, but they definitely do an excellent job in this area.

I wouldn't dream of switching dentists. Thanks to them, for the first time in my 34 years of life I finally go to the dentist regularly & I couldn't be more pleased!

I once worked with a client. We set her up with a different team member and when I checked in with her, she said the meeting went very well, but she never wanted to meet with that person again. She insisted nothing was done to offend her, she just didn't want to meet with them again. I didn't understand it at the time, but I do now because it's kind of how I feel about Westend.

For over three decades, I went to the same dentist office. When my first dentist retired, another took over his practice and office. I was sad when that dentist relocated and I started going to Westend or as I call it 'fancy dentist.' I was a little overwhelmed at the digs. Where my old dentist's office was simple, this one has all of the bells and whistles.

Everything works like a well-oiled machine. They try and add the personal touch, but to me it felt forced. Asking me personal details and another office member "casually" mentioning them. To say I felt hounded to schedule another appointment is a bit of an understatement. I got emails, texts, postcards and voicemails; I felt like I was being pursued by bill collectors.

That alone wouldn't lead me to go elsewhere. What sent me back on the hunt for a dentist was a few things. 1) Visits seem expensive; a visit with x-rays had a decent out-of-pocket cost (something that fell within my plan allotment at my old dentist) and was long, over 90 minutes. My next visit, a straight cleaning, still fell outside of the plan visit maximum. 2) I felt upsold.

There are displays in each patient bay with Sonicare toothbrushes, fancy toothpaste, etc. On my first visit I was asked about my toothbrush; since I already had a Sonicare, I escaped the upsell. On my next visit, I was encouraged to use a $25/tube special toothpaste. When I declined, I was encouraged to get an anticavity rinse next time I was at drugstore (much more my speed). 3) I had more of a relationship with my hygienist than the dentist.

I spent 80% of the appointment time with the hygienist (especially my second visit) and wasn't even treated by the same dentist on my two visits. Kind of like the client I worked with, my experiences with Westend were overall inoffensive, but I really had no desire to go back.
