I have been a patient with Dr. Watson since I was a child, as well as other members of my family. He is the best dentist, professional and kind. He is a great find and I recommend him to anyone in Austin.

Best dentist award by far. Caring, knowledgeable and amazing work with greater capabilities than many in the field. Our entire family would all say the same. Most appreciative of dentists who truly love what they do and care about the people they help every day. Especially with how important a great healthy smile is every part of life.

Highly recommend. Dr. Watson goes above and beyond to take care of you. He helped my 12 year old son in an emergency type of situation. My son cracked his tooth and was in a lot of pain. They quickly took an X-ray and then painlessly removed it. Finances were not a concern as they genuinely seemed interested in focusing on taking care of my son. They were very reasonable and even generous in that regards. We felt comfortable with the whole process the entire time. Thankfully, it turned it out it was one of his few remaining baby tooth so a happy ending too.

I have a regular dentist but I had not been in awhile, so I opted to try this dental office because of its proximity to my work. They recommended services totaling more than $1500 AFTER insurance. I was skeptical, so I went back to my regular dentist for a second opinion. I'm glad I did. The hygienist with Randal Watson made it seem as if my teeth were falling out, but it turns out all I needed was a regular cleaning.

I could have overlooked this but one of the receptionists, Sue Ellen, was condescending and rude and didn't make this experience any easier. When I was initially trying to explain my situation to her over the phone, she kept interrupting and talking over me because she mistakenly assumed I had called the wrong dental office. I asked if she could send my x-rays and dental records to my regular dentist but they were never received.

While at my new appointment, I called to ask about it. Again, before I could finish speaking, she cut me off and insisted that everything was sent. The x-rays were still never received, so I had to get new ones done, but thankfully I wasn't charged for them.

I went to Vista Ridge on a referral and Dr. Watson was very helpful with a tooth that needed a crown. He was very professional and actually did the crown in 3 hours. I didn't have to go in for additional visits which saved me some money.

Absolutely awful. My wife went in for a cleaning with no pain at all. A cavity was identified. After putting in the filling, my wife was in excruciating pain. The explanation given was that the tooth needed to be ground down. After no abatement in the pain and two trips to grind the tooth down, my wife demanded an X Ray. They determined that the filling was too deep and was touching the nerve.

They recommended a root canal. After more excruciating pain and days away from work, she went in for the root canal. After the root canal, the pain continued. After more days away from work and more pain, they had her come in again. They said the root canal would have to be redone. She refused to have it done there and was referred to a specialist.

As the specialist went in he couldn't believe that they had done a root canal. He remarked that it looked like they dug out some of the pulp in the tooth, but didn't do a root canal. He did the procedure and completed it correctly. Now $1000 later, my wife has to go get a crown for $2000. She has lost a tremendous amount of time, productivity and experienced a lot of pain. The staff is professional and was empathetic, but the dental work was terrible in our opinion.

I needed some dental work done to fix some old fillings. The office told me that the best way to do this was through inlays because of the size of the previous filling. They approximated the total charge, what the insurance would cover, and my bill (a little more than $600). I decided to go ahead with the procedure after saving up for the amount in advance.

Two months after the procedure, I was sent a bill with a past due notice (60 days) for over $500 dollars. Their estimate of insurance coverage had been incorrect, and the carrier only covered $92 of the bill. They insisted that I pay immediately or they would send my information to a collections office. I told them I was unable to pay that large of a bill, and asked if they could double-check their submission with the insurance company to make sure they inputted everything correctly.

The office staff told me they would not do anything to help me, and insisted I pay immediately. I also discovered after the fact that I did not need inlays at all, and that this was a known gimmick from this office to make additional revenues off of unsuspecting patients. Not only is this behavior unethical, it is now impacting my family's ability to pay critical bills like power and water instead of paying for the mistake and unscrupulousness of such an office.
