I first saw Dr. Metz on an urgent basis after losing a 15-year-old crown on a business trip. The tooth underneath could not be saved and bad genetics combined with a years-long B- dental routine was taking its toll on my teeth. I’ve needed substantial work done to turn things around and the Vibrant Dentistry team has been fantastic the whole time.
They are patient, non-judgmental and friendly. Most dentists have made me feel like I’m being water-boarded with every procedure and many have not given too much thought to patient comfort. This place is different. The procedures are the most comfortable I’ve ever had and Dr. Metz even calls to check up on me after the big stuff. Treating with Vibrant Dentistry has changed the way I view dental treatment, which is helping to keep my teeth and gums healthy.

I have been going To Vibrant Dentistry for several years now. Doctor Metz is the best and really takes time to explain the treatments and why they are needed. Tara is the BEST dental assistant and always remembers from visit to visit what is going on in my life and asks for updates, very personable. I hated dentists and rarely went before a friend recommended them.
What a nice change. I cant say that going to the dentist is my favorite thing to do now, but they make it very pleasurable. Plus each time I go, they have a new gadget. Technology there is impressive!

I've been a patient for 14 years. Woke up with tooth pain and called the office as soon as they opened. Luckily they had room for the same day to schedule an appointment. Fixed me right up and made me feel like family as per usual. When friends say they hate going to the dentist, I can't sympathize. Maybe it's because they're not Vibrant patients! I am almost 59 years old and went in to have my routine 6 month dental cleaning. After X-rays, digital pictures, probing, and oral cancer screening, I'm told that they can't clean my teeth without Novocain and I need to return at a later date. Seriously? I have NEVER needed that previously. Also, I'm told that I developed SEVEN cavities and gum disease since my last cleaning 6 months ago. Wrong.
The most frustrating part is that they ignored my wishes and wanted to do things their way. I am the patient. I am paying for services. I came to get my teeth cleaned and they didn't provide the service. Unacceptable. They did enjoy providing me with a "treatment plan" that is beneficial to them. I only came to this office because they were in my insurance network. I am happy to return to my previous dentist and pay for cleanings out of pocket.

I've never had such a great experience at a dentist as I did with Vibrant Dentistry. After years of looking for a dentist I could trust, I was referred to Vibrant by a close friend. The office staff is very thorough with checking billing and making sure everything is correct. The hygienist I worked with was knowledge and extremely thorough during my initial exam. Dr. Metz eased my fears, was super patient, and extremely thorough when filling my cavities. 100% recommend this place for all dentistry needs.

Like most, I have lived a life of dreading the dentist. It doesn't matter how good I feel after I still didnt look forward to the next visit. That's how I used to feel until I was introduced to Dr. Metz and his amazing staff. I can confidently say I look forward to every visit. I discovered the practice when I moved from Ohio to Arizona and was referred by some local friends to see Dr. Metz (including my now husband - who has been a patient even longer than I have). Dr. Metz is the literal epitome of everything you'd hope a dentist could be. He is kind, honest, gentle, precise, fast, methodical and meticulous. He works quickly yet thoroughly, he pays attention to minor. details, provides you with an overall agenda and focuses on the most important things first. Case in point, he advised me to get a crown on our first visit and I felt I couldn't afford it so I put it off.
It had already been patched by another dentist, so no big deal, it was fine. So I put it off for about a year and a half. BIG MISTAKE. On August 15th, 2018, my fiancee and I were at Buffalo Wild Wings. I was enjoying some of their Korean BBQ wings, chewing right along, and *crunch*.

Dr. Metz, Crystal, and Trish are definitely my "go-to" people when it comes to caring for my teeth. I've followed them from when they were "Meridian Dental" and moved from their McClintock and Baseline location. I worked for Vibrant Dentistry for almost a year. Vibrant Dentistry has an awesome customer service base for their patients, and it was an experience I will not soon forget. The things the Scheduling Institute. taught us in order to help patients understand the needs for their treatment, and how to keep them comfortable during procedures were awesome tools I wish every dental office knew how to use.
However there were other things the Scheduling Institute taught us that Carl does not follow for his practice. Scheduling Institute taught two main goals for those following their plan; Keep your staff happy and keep your patients happy. Carl is great at keeping his patients happy, but what people.

Let's face it, no one enjoys the dentist. However, Dr. Metz and his staff make it as pleasant as possible. Dr. Metz keeps you very well informed of what your appointment will entail and what he will be doing. Whatever procedure he is doing he always asks if you're doing ok and asks if you have any questions. Dr. Metz never makes you feel like he's rushing to get through the appointment.
