I had been going to Aviva Dental Clinic for 15 years. I was very happy with my care and Dentist, however, I did notice a degree of 'turnover' with the Dentist. In 2021, after an old crown was removed and the filling done I was told I should have a root canal on that tooth. I was NOT in pain and reluctantly went along with this. The root canal was started (one canal) by Dr. Howard.

He spent an hour and a half drilling on it. He said, "there seems to be a lot of calcification in these canals." Dr. Howard DID NOT tell me he was leaving the Clinic and he would not be finishing my root canal. Dr. Howard DID NOT say he was referring me to an Endodontist.nothing. It was when I called back to get this crown put on that I was told this.

I started calling around to prior dentist I knew, one being a friend. I was then told that it is very unprofessional to start a root canal and not finish AND because of this "no dentist will touch this". I called an Endodontist and they wanted $1750.00 to finish this root canal.! I was devastated for I live on Social Security and I do not have that kind of money.

After all this research, I called Dalien Anderson, the Manager, and voiced my complaint. I insisted that they call Dr. Howard back to finish this OR send me to an Endodontist and foot the bill. I asked two people in upper Management "Do you have an Ombudsman here?" Not only do they NOT have an Ombudsman, they did not know what the word meant. I was shocked.

As per another patient, I was DISMISSED from the Clinic. I now have a temporary crown on this tooth that has been there two years. I am still working on trying to get my money back from them. I had hundreds of dollars on the books for Credit (money errors from them in over charges) plus the money I paid up front for the unfinished Root Canal. All of this could have been easily and respectfully fixed. I have paid thousands of dollars to Aviva Dental. I now have the same problem with no affordable dental care. This review is what they get.

Amazing Dr.s very knowledgeable. Ready to help, listen, and do what ever it is they can to help in any situation. Honest, and to the point with out being disrespectful, offensive or over stepping boundaries. If their is something that you need for them to explain in a different way that you understand what their talking about. Dr. Any lamb in glide is the best Dr.

I've ever had in 35 yrs and she is extremely sweet and down to earth all the staff in the office are sweet as can be. In my opinion I feel as if Amy is similar to an all naturalist, Herbal supplements, type person. Rather then putting pharmaceutical medication in some patients. Her words to me today were "Medication doesn't cure it, it hids the systems" (in regards to anxiety and panic attacks) that's the truest statement ever said to me.

Thank you Amy for your honesty, dedication, opinion, and ideas that you given to me in the short 6 months I've had you as my Primary Care Dr. I absolutely am 100% satisfied with the choice i made to have her as my PCP after interviewing a few other Dr previously.

The dental assistant was amazing! But when me and my husband scheduled for an extraction for my husbands tooth that has a abscess and causing severe pain, the only had an opening 6 weeks out. So we took it, a couple days later we called and they had a cancellation for tuesday the 7th at 9am so we took that. I called the day off and let them know we were going to be A couple minutes late They stated that they did not have him on the schedule For today Or for the six-week out appointment They said that they had called to confirm the appointment on Friday but then said there was no appointment. Very unprofessional horrible service we will never return there.

Shelly Wells is AMAZING! My two children love her! She so patient, kind, and very respectful. Over the past two years she's worked with them and we love her. Definitely recommend her.

I would like to share my experience with Aviva Dental in Myrtle Creek Oregon. I recently went through the process of getting a Dental Bridge for my bottom teeth. I couldn't be happier with the results. The entire process was amazing from the staff to my dentist, Dr. Jones, to the outcome of my dental bridge. So professional all the way through, excellent care, and the dental bridge is awesome.

So much hard work was done through out this entire process and I can not thank the staff, my dentist, and the team who created my dental bridge enough or praise them enough. I highly recommend this Aviva Dental Care team in Myrtle Creek. I am blessed to have had such gracious care. Stellar Teamwork.

My husband, like most guys, hates going to the doctor. I finally was able to convince him to go to Aviva. (I have family who go there and they always said good things about Aviva) From the check in process to scheduling the follow-up appointment, the staff were very professional, friendly and some even joked with him which was very helpful. It relaxed him a bit.

After his appt I asked him what he thought of the place. " Not bad. I might have a new faith in doctors." He did mention he dislikes the constant calls reminding him of needing to get bloodwork. This was easily remedied when he called to ask if the calls could stop. He still dislikes going to the doctors but at least he isn't giving me a solid no and instead just rolls his eyes when it's time to go back in for his checkups. Anyone who is with someone like my husband knows this is huge and if anyone from Aviva is reading this, thank you for being so kind and taking care of my husband.

I am highly disappointed with the front desk service. I am new to the area. I had a new patient appointment i waited almost a month for. I arrive 10 minutes early, unfortunately google maps took me to the dental aviva in town apparently there is a dental and medical office. I sit in the office while the young man at the desk does not even acknowledge me and continues on what seemed to be a hold as he was not talking for about 5 minutes, then he gets on a call checks some insurance, then makes a call and scheduled an appointment another patient all while im just standing there.

He finally asked if i need something?! I say yes i have an appointment which was now about 11:43 my appointment was 11 he says nope your at dental we have no appointments for today! I ask him why he didn't just say that when i walked in! So i rush over to the medical side its now 11:48 i walk in and she says right away, your to late he went to lunch, before i even say my name or anything.

I said its 8 min late! Do you have no grace period at all. I explain what happened and she said you should have came to the right office he has left for lunch there is nothing i can do! Kinda brushing me off. Doesn't ask to reschedule nothing. Then as im leaving she said your supposed to be here 30 min early for new patient appointments. I told her someone should have told me that then!

Overall horrible experience just walking in the door! Both offices! I understand i was late, things happen i could have rescheduled but i was not even offered help with that. just ignored at the first office, then brushed off at the second. I need to be seen for some health issues i have going on and its been weeks already so i will have to call and see if they can get me back in any time soon but i will definitely be looking for a more supportive and welcoming dr. I hope their attitude does not reflect the dr. Care and demeanor. Horrible first impression and experience!

The Dr was great, and the PA, most of the staff is superb, there is however a huge problem with an individual and Management that made a horrible mistake of updating my insurance for me on something someone heard where I was living violating HIPPA. Only takes a few to destroy something so many people work so hard for their reputation because of a Manager's poor judgement, hopefully it can be fixed

If i can save anyone from coming here please listen Dr. ROYAL, DR. BRISENO destroyed me as a female. I was pregnant with my son 2 years ago when dr royal capped my two front teeth allowing the assistant to throw my trays in the trash that were suppose to be sent off to a lab creating me to have the most trauma of my life these last two years. I now two years later after their torture have to have my two front teeth extracted.

My last appointment after dr briseno spent two years trying to fix their mistake but made it worste told me as he told me the entire time he is ready to retire and he is done. He told me to sue them but in the meantime wants to do one more procedure but if i dont like it i am stuck with it. And yes the assistant heard this all even talked with us about suing them as i have been through so much.as i did not agree i called the manager and left a voicemail about what he told me.

She never called me back so i called several.days later just for the front desk lady to tell me they will no longer see me because i mentioned the word sue, but wait their dentist dr briseno told me to because he is ready to retire and working on me has became so menta for him so thats why i called he even told he he talked to his wife about me and couldnt even enjoy his coast trip because he knew he had to come work on me monday he even told bis wife my name.

They will allow all this and their patient to be tortured to the point of teeth extraction who was pregnant with a baby but cant even take a phone call complaint about it without dissmissing me and that was the manager deena. My nee dentist was blown away with what was seen nd i am not able to have my caps repaired at all they are extremely loose you can shake them i have to have them extracted by a specialist i have already been reffered to and have inserts placed.

Chief jay richards also agrees woth his team doing this to a pregnant female, he agrees with his staff and their torture upon me knowing i need major treatment still and sent a letter saying my behavior over the phone was unacceptable after two years of torture to me, two extremely lose front caps, two fully bucked out capped teeth now when they were perfecrly straight i have previous xrays, and hubdreds of pictures of this whole process and the many different permanent caps and two years of temuary caps that are only suppose to be a 10 day process that now two years later i was told to sue them and for that terminated because i am not allowed to defend my rights. Hippa was violated talking to his wife about me and making me feel.like this is my fault and i caused mental stress on dr briseno not accepting the mistake or giving at all when he is ready to retire and i am holding him up or he already would be.he said all this to me in front of the assistant also.

This is what aviva health did to me and what their chief allowed to me as a patient. I could not imagine if this was a dentist who did this to one of his children or family members. But because im a patient they allowed this and i have to get my teeth extracted
