Pediatric dentists are the pediatricians of dentistry. They perform primary and specialty care for children of all ages. After completing a four-year dental school curriculum, two to three additional years of rigorous training are required to become a pediatric dentist. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepares pediatric dentists to meet the unique needs of infants, children, and adolescents, including persons with special healthcare needs.Our pediatric dentists are on staff at Fletcher Allen Health Care and hold faculty positions with the University of Vermont.

I understand scheduling is important in their line of business, but the admin and scheduling are completely unforgiving and unkind to clients. We were 8 minutes late for our appt due to snowy roads (yes we probably should have added more time in for this reason). Every other time we've gone for first thing in the morning visits, we wait 15-20 minutes because of emergency visits in front of us - I've ALWAYS been ok with this, of course someone who's had a dental emergency goes ahead of us and we wait very patiently.
But the one time we are late, they cancel our appt when we walk in. We've taken time off from work to bring our 4 year olds in for a cleaning and they were so excited for their appointment and to get turned away is brutal for them (not to mention all the time we've taken off already for covid quarantines, things are tough for parents right now. We've been patients for 3 years and never late for other appointments, I'd understand if we were notoriously late. I'm just so baffled and upset by this. Unfortunately, they have lost patients due to this. The two stars are for the wonderful hygienists and dentists.

We had a fantastic first experience at the 60 Timberlane location today. My daughter cracked her tooth, and they were able to get us in the same day! The dental assistant were friendly and professional, the office was very clean and followed extensive Covid protocol. We saw Dr. Cain, who was an awesome pediatric dentist, definitely a good choice in career for him, working with kids.
He result built rapport with my daughter and son, and wasn't rushed at all even though you could tell they had a full schedule. He explained everything, and you could hear the smile in his voice. I highly recommend this dentist.

Had to set-up a new patient account with Timberlane Dental Grp. In South Burlington. I was very pleased by the care I received from Dr. Berkowitz & his Assistant Sami. A week later I was set-up with Hygienist Olivia who also took great care of my teeth-cleaning session. All in all very satisfied by everyone I came in contact with; from making my initial phone appointment & follow-up with Celeste to the Front-Desk staff and Billing dept.
No regret for having chosen their clinic for my dental needs. I highly recommend them and specifically recommend Dr. Berkowitz who was very honest with my needs + professional & very friendly too!

Dr. Berkowitz and his assistant's are absolutely amazing. I have not seen a dentist for almost 10 years because of one experience I had that caused extreme anxiety and would nearly paralyze me with fear. This has caused many issues with my teeth. I broke down when the pain just became unbearable. I had to have my husband come with me to hold my hand like a child for my visits. Dr. Berkowitz and his staff listened to me, showed understanding of my fears and came up with solutions to make my visits easier.
I am grateful to have found them. I still have a few visits to fix the damage and have anxiety walking into the office but I am making my appointments which is a major improvement.

A mix of hygienists ranging from make your mouth bleed all over to fantastic. I enjoyed seeing Dr. Berkowitz for many years-he really knows his stuff. The secretaries can be salty sometimes - you don't need to know the reason I am canceling my appointment a day beforehand- it is simply none of your business.

Took my daughter there for a routine cleaning and the assistant was extremely rude to her. She made several rude and demeaning remarks through the cleaning process including one that my daughter had the worst teeth she had seen in 24 years. Mind you she brushes her teeth 2-4 times a day. Wouldn't recommend this place unless you want your kid to feel self conscious about herself or if you enjoy someone talking bad to you the whole time
