Services
During your first visit to our Acworth dentist office, Dr. Daniel Lee performs a thorough exam and any necessary X-rays to establish a baseline for future treatment and dental care. If you have current X-rays, we ask you to let us know. Either bring them with you or have them forwarded to our office.
Our office is located in Historic Downtown Acworth at the junction of Carnes Street and Richard B. Russell Blvd. Carnes Street is parallel to, and one block behind Main Street. Directions: Coming from Main Street turn onto Morningside Drive. The U.S. Post Office and Regions Bank are located at the corner of Main Street and Morningside Drive.

I visited Dr. Lee's office months (maybe over a year?) ago to have a broken filling fixed. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Dr. Lee was also quite friendly, but our initial conversation put me on edge. After learning that I'm a biology professor, Dr. Lee started grilling me on how the COVID vaccine - administered into someone's arm - could work to prevent infection with an airborne pathogen.
He also expressed the opinion that as more people get the flu shot, more people seem to get the flu. Now, a basic understanding of how vaccines work - and that they prevent infection, they don't increase it - is something I expect of any healthcare provider. Next, as he looked in my mouth, Dr. Lee commented to his assistant on multiple fillings he'd like to fix/replace in the future.
I do have a mouthful of dental work, and I know it won't last forever. But the dentists I've seen since then haven't suggested that these fillings are failing. I also know that with each replacement of a filling, more tooth has to be drilled away, so the sooner old dental work is replaced, the sooner I'll end up needing something more serious, like a crown. Thus, hearing about the multiple fillings Dr. Lee wanted to replace made me wary. Finally, I have a history of having difficulty getting numb. Dr. Lee's first injection didn't do the trick, and when I told him this, he seemed a bit reluctant to give me another.
He asked if I wanted more anesthetic or if I could just bear with it while he drilled. It's absolutely my fault that I didn't press for more anesthetic, but I'm a nervous dental patient, and my anxiety sometimes makes it hard for me to stand up for myself in the chair. I'd prefer a dentist who more willingly offers more anesthetic if I'm feeling the drill. (Since then, I have found such a dentist and am completely comfortable with her.) This review is certainly the outlier in a long list of extremely positive ones.
Everyone in the office is very welcoming and friendly, and I wouldn't necessarily advise someone not to go here. But it might not be the right place for someone with lots of fillings and lots of dental anxiety, like me.

I typically loathe going to the dentist but after putting it for far to long I was recommended to go see Dr. Daniel Lee. I wish I had gone sooner. This office is top tier when it comes to dental work. Staff is caring and professional. Dr Lee is a very patient, kind and a miracle worker dentist. Would give this establishment ten stars if I could.

Dr. Lee and his staff are awesome! I'm a relatively new patient and feel so grateful to have found a gentle dentist who is knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Lee takes time to bond with his patients and is so personable. I greatly appreciate that he is thorough with exams and prioritizes the necessary dental work that needs to be done and what I can do to maintain good dental health.
Last year I had a dental emergency and was scheduled promptly. Dr. Lee assessed and treated the problem quickly without my experiencing any pain. He contacted me that same evening to find out how I was doing. The office staff is so professional and outgoing with smiles every time I come in for visits.

My family and I have had the best experience at Dr Lees office!. after years of avoiding the dentist due to a bad experience! I'm glad to say that I actually look forward to going to the dentist office now! ALL the staff are amazing! Becky is so friendly and understanding of our crazy schedules! Would definitely recommend Dr. Lee to anyone! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Lee and his whole krewe are the bomb I'm a very high maintenance patient and they take unbelievable care of me. I fell they all genuinely maintain a high level of professionalism but still make you feel very welcome every visit! Becky is always on top of the appointments and all related requests to manage your valuable time! Thank y'all for keeping my teeth healthy!

We have used this practice for over 35 years. Dr. Lee is newer to the practice but fits in SO well with the others, some of which have been here as long as we have! From the moment we met Dr. Lee it felt like we'd known him forever. It's so very nice to have a dentist and the whole office treat us with such professionalism but yet feel like we've just gone over to a friends house at the same time.not to mention that they keep our pearly whites, well, white and strong! We'll be your patients as long as we have teeth and be your friends even longer than that!

My family and I have been patients for the two previous dentists at this place and you always hope they will be as good. I have to say having the same office staff and hygienists is great. They are like a well tuned team and can take care of emergencies and regular care. They accommodate my busy schedule and never recommend sketchy procedures like some practices do to get you to do more dental work. Kind and caring, always up with the latest innovations. They work with my insurance and I was self pay for years. It's good to be referred by a current patient.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Lee since Dr. O'Shea departed. We have received wonderful care and treatment, as always, from this wonderful dental practice. Dr. Lee has replaced crowns, fillings, and provided honest evaluations for us. All of the members of this practice are friendly, caring, and accommodating to the patients. We especially appreciate the gentle nature and caring attitude of Dr. Lee. We think we may be patients of this practice for a very long time!
