Dr. William (Bill) Davis operated the original orthodontic private practice in Chapel Hill from 1968 until 2000. He also opened the first practice in Pittsboro in 1980. After working with Dr. Davis for a year, Dr. Severt purchased both practices in 2000. That is a continuous span of over 5 decades of creating smiles in Chapel Hill and 40 years in Pittsboro!

Amazing experience at Dr. Severts practice. I am not a big fan of dental work, however her team was incredibly professional while also being friendly and making me feel comfortable. They explained all the things they were doing and answered all the questions I had. Dr Severt was amazing and went through all the things I needed to have done, the benefits of each, and the follow ups. Would 100% recommend to a friend, Thank you team!

We had our first appointment with Dr. Severt and her team today. The front desk is personable; they immediately welcomed us by name as we entered. Unprompted, my 9 yo daughter even commented on how gentle everyone was with her during the exam, photos and x-rays. During the conversation we found Dr. Severt to be knowledgeable and thorough in her explanation and very reasonable in her approach to my daughter's care. We look forward to future visits, and who can say that about the dentist?

They have always been great, and today when I needed a little extra time, outside of our appointment, to talk to Dr. Jacox about my son's orthodontics she made time and ensured that all my questions were asked. I could not be happier with the consultation for Invisalign that I received at Dr Severt's office. Jackie was my coordinator for the visit and did an excellent job of walking me thought the various X-rays and scans, always telling me what to expect. She was both professional and personable and candid in answering my questions. Dr. Jacox met with me to review my treatment options and I left with all I needed to make an informed decision. I didn't expect to have such a thorough hour-long consultation when it was complimentary. Very impressed!

Professional, courteous, attention to details, and addressed all questions. Without any pressure to get treatment from Dr. Tammy Severt, I was even voluntarily given consent to share the complimentary x-rays with another provider for cost estimate. State-of-the art equipment, including 3-D scanner, and outstanding service!

Dr. Severt and her staff are wonderful! I had my braces almost 30 years ago with Dr. Davis. I come from FL, every now and then, to have my retainer tightened. They are always very helpful. They are fantastic! If I lived in the area, my son would definitely come here! Thank you for everything and I'll see you in a few years!
