This place wants to sell services which you cannot afford and do not want (such as laser treatment, antibiotic and crown). I made appointment to get my teeth cleaned (routine cleaning). They pushed me to get additional services so hard by even offering discount and financing. Finally refused to only clean my teeth. They also made several errors in getting my insurance coverage. I was really harassed by the dental hygienist who was so adamant to sell services. Total time spent - 2 hours on 2 appointments but did not get my teeth cleaned.

Excellent staff. Observed office manager saying no problem to a request for records since 2019. That is something office staff is usually reluctant to do. Very thorough exam, dentist was great. Very efficient staff.

I really don't have the words to express the appreciation that I have for Dr. Ajala and the team at Plano. It was my first initial visit, not really expecting much other than a bunch of "bite down please" type of x-rays (LIKE MOST DENTIST OFFICE DO),. This office took such great care of me. Back to work I go, all taken care of and pain free.

Recently had a crown put in here. It was the worst dentist experience I have ever had, the dentist could not get my mouth numb, he had to inject my gums 9 times. On top of that, I went to another dentist for my next cleaning because of this experience and found out the crown was not put in properly and I had to have it redone. I went to a third dentist to confirm and he also told me the crown was done so poorly it needed to be replaced. Do not waste your time going here.

I had the pleasure of visiting Plano Smile Design Dentist. Dr. Joe Ajala is absolutely the Best dentist, I can truly say that has done dental work for me. He is very professional, cares a great deal about his work, compassionate and I must say he believes as well as provides quality work. My first visit was last year in December. My tooth chip in the front of my mouth.

Because of that did not smile I felt uncomfortable and unattractive, knowing that's the first thing people will see if I smiled. Thanks to Dr. Joe, he helped me get my smile and confidence back. The staff is amazing, friendly, and provides excellent customer service. I like to believe Dr. Joe has a lot to do with that. I look forward to my upcoming appointments and highly recommend there service.

Everyone at Plano Smile Design remembers my name and the names of my children and husband! They are always so kind and willing to answer any and all of my questions! I love that they take the time to know us and remember who we are each time we come into the office to visit. They are professional and awesome to work with! Highly recommend their office!

One of my biggest fears is the dentist. Dr. John has a way of putting his clients at ease. Instead of giving the hard to understand doctor talk he Thoroughly explains each step and what the future plan is. Will never go to another dentist again

Dr. Joe and his staff are very friendly, honest, and professional. They're accommodating and attentive. I've had poor experiences with other dentists in the past but Plano Smile Design has completely changed my outlook on dental visits. If could rate this dental office along with Dr Nizami and his team a 10 I definitely would! I have been seeing Dr Nizami since July of 2021 and have been working with him on my very extensive dental treatment, that so far has included 3 route canals an extraction and some other things. The one thing I can say is that he puts his full knowledge and experience into his work along with making sure that you are comfortable with everything he is doing.

Also every time i have needed to see him on short notice he always makes himself available no matter what the situation is, he is all around a good person and excellent dentist. This will definitely be my permanent go to dental office as long as I am in the Dallas metroplex area two thumbs up.

Dr. Kennedy is no longer at Plano Smile Design. I showed up for my 6-month cleaning and was told he left the practice and I had another dentist. The technician did not respond when I asked where he was or if he had another location. I've had medical professionals change location or move practice, but have always received prior notification. This is very strange. The new dentist, Dr. Ajala, was very thorough, even showing me a cavity that was not pointed out during my previous visit. Dr. Kennedy leaving seems beneficial.

Dr Sean Kennedy is very kind and ethical. I retired from dental assisting after 20 years, and recently moved to Lee's Summit. My friend recommend Dr. Kennedy to me. I had a crown placed and it went very smoothly. Excellent experience!

I have a real aversion to dentists. I won't bore you with the details, but it's very bad, and very legitimate! However, Dr. Kennedy completely wiped that out.although I'm sure the numbess had something to do with that! Him and Angela (?) were WONDERFUL. I had a complete root canal, of which I've had a few, and this one was the easiest, least painful (okay, no pain!), almost RELAXING of any I'd had. He's so cordial, warm and friendly, and no high pressure sales of ANY kind.

I totally recommend him to anyone in the area. I have SUPER fears, and he completely eased them and was SO patient and not judgmental. Give him a call, and mention you saw him on my Yelp or Facebook. He totally ROCKS! Thanks Dr. Kennedy!
