This includes proper brushing, flossing and eating habits, ideal fluoride levels and the use of pit and fissure sealants. We strive to provide a fun, educational environment where children learn about the importance of good dental hygiene. This includes children's fillings and crowns, including treatment of nursing bottle decay.
A pediatric dentist, like Dr. Trisha, has an extra two years of specialized training after dental school and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years. The very young, pre-teens, and teenagers all need different approaches in dealing with behavior, guiding their growth and development, and helping them avoid future dental problems.
Our office recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 6 or 7. Early detection and treatment gives your child the edge - a much better chance for natural and normal development. One advantage of having Dr. Trisha for your child's dental home is that we monitor their growth & development on a regular basis.
Sedation Dentistry refers to the use of medications and controlled monitoring during dental treatment. Our office pffers a wide range of options from nitrous oxide, or "laughing gas, " conscious sedation, and deep sedation in office with our Board Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist. Our doctors also have privileges at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Love this office. You can truly tell everyone here enjoys what they do. I had an incredible experience as a child with my dentist and wanted the same for my children. They have nailed it here. I don't typically trust my children going back alone during any medical procedure. But they fact that they allow a parent to go back (even during Covid because I was not comfortable leaving them alone) unlike some offices was further confirmation that I picked the right place. Now, I trust them so with my children at this point. I just wanna leave and get Starbucks instead lol. I drive from Forest Park to this office every visit even when there are so many offices much closer.

We recently found that my daughter had a tongue tie and couldn't swallow solids! So grateful for The Pediatric Dentist and their ability to just take care of everything today. Thankful for the wonderful Lauren Farwick Richow for always answering my questions and worries and getting us in! You always make this mama and her kiddos feel so loved! Also grateful I got to see Amber Lloyd for the first time in FOREVER! We love this place and can't recommend enough

Megan greeted us with a warm welcome. My son had a great experience. Dr Trisha was so nice and helpful. Very clean office. I will bring my daughter when she's ready for the dentist and would recommend to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist. Thank you!

Dr. Dave and his staff go above and beyond to make the kids smile and have a great time while at the dentist. He loves telling jokes with my kiddos and his expertise is far above any other pediatric dentist. We highly recommend him.

My son went for a cleaning in January. They waited till August to call us because they somehow had the wrong insurance and by time they figured it out (with NO phone call in between) insurance wouldn't pay because it's been too long. Lady was rude and said it wasn't their fault since they had the wrong information which I don't know how that happened in the first place. Will not return.

We started taking my oldest (8) when she was 2 and I was so happy with the experiences she had. Friendly staff, very clean facility, and she wasn't afraid at all. Recently they've done renovations and the office and rooms are gorgeous. They've handle the challenge of COVID wonderfully. I have 3 kids now and each of them have zero anxiety going to the dentist and I credit The Pediatric Dentist staff for that. It's reassuring to know that my kids will have a good habit to continue as they get older and no fear.

Due to covid my 7 year old twins appointments to address their cavities had to be postponed. When the office got the go ahead to resume they called and set appointments right away for my boys. One twin was more nervous than the other. What I thought would make matters harder, it was recommended that i stayed in the car due to limiting contact due to covid, so I did.

One twin went in on Wednesday and he was the more nervous one. They said he did fantastic and after the numbing wore off and he could talk, he told me how he had fun and was not scared! On thursday, his twin had his appointment. 2 extractions, 2 fillings and 2 crowns. He came out and was in minor pain but they told me he also did fantastic. After this twin got feeling back in his mouth and the pain subsided, he also told me he had fun and how everyone was funny and nice.

Both appointments they went at the pace of my children. They let me know they were starting on the teeth that were the worst, but if the boys were able to continue, then they would try to get as much done as they could in one visit, opposed to having multiple visits. I thought they all did a fantastic job, but I was not the patient, my twins were.

They both talked about their visits in such a positive way. For two 7year olds to have as much work done as these two had in one visit without a parent with them and they came out saying nothing but good things, tells you how fantastic this office is!

I wish this place was not so money driven. A friend of mine told me not to go here for this very reason but I didn't take her word for it and should have. They initially will recommend the process to be one way, when asked if it can be done another way due to the financial side of it, the story changed that it was not an option to go a different route. Was told things HAD to be done this extremely expensive way. Received a second opinion from another great dentist and had no issues getting the procedure done for my daughter the way I asked.

If you can afford $985 out of pocket for an hour of anesthesia by all means go here but for any person in their right mind will save their money and go elsewhere and receive great care for much much less.
