Focus on stopping the bleeding and protecting the injured tooth or area by following the appropriate instructions in this section. Similar to braces, clear aligners use a gradual force to control tooth movement, but without metal wires or brackets. Routine dental checkups are vital to good oral hygiene and are the best way to detect problems at their earliest stages which saves unnecessary discomfort, time, and money. A filling repairs and restores the surface of a tooth that has been damaged by decay, fracture, or wear.
With proper care and good oral hygiene, the life of a tooth crown can range from 5 to 15 years. If a natural tooth-colored porcelain crown is chosen, our CEREC CAD/CAM treatment gives patients a completed permanent crown in just one office visit. Other types of crown require two office visits. Your dentist will recommend the best type of crown for your dental restoration needs based on the chewing placement and structure of the tooth or implant that requires protection. There are three types of crowns.

I have had a horrible experience with this dental office. I would give them 0 stars but I am forced to at least put one. My wife and I made appointments earlier in 2022 for our first appointments since we are new to the state. We called them about two weeks in advance to schedule and provide our insurance information, to which the clerk on the phone stated that the first appointment for x-rays are 100% covered.

When we arrived for the appointment, they told us that everything was good to go and they asked us to complete paperwork. Once we got into the rooms for our appointments that is where the problems started. My wife requested to work with Dr. Shafi but for some reason did not and they had Dr. Yeo meet her. They completed their standard x-rays and provided recommendations.

They informed me that I needed to receive fillings. I informed them that I would schedule that appointment at a later date but would like to have my cleaning completed. They refused to complete my cleaning and told me that it would be "better to do it after I have my fillings." For my wife, they told her she needed a deep cleaning and also did not do a standard cleaning.

On our way out, they informed me that I would not have to pay anything since it was basic treatment, and they told my wife that the deep cleaning would cost MORE THAN $550. We decided to try somewhere else. We went to a new dental office and they provided us the same recommendations but let us know that the cost of the deep cleaning would be $150 after insurance covers their portion.

My wife decided to log into the portal for Stephanie Dental to take a look at the past recommendations and found out she had a balance of $100 that was 60 days overdue. Not only did she not receive a notification for a payment, she also did not receive a statement in the mail. On my end, it showed that I had a $0 balance. After back and forth calls, I was answered by an extremely rude clerk who was disrespectful.

She was adamant that they did not tell me it was a mistake and that we were charged for "orthodontic" procedures that were not fully covered by insurance. Included in those orthodontic procedures were x-rays that do not fall under "basic care." I argued with her stating that we were not informed and did not approve any procedure that was not covered, as well as were told we did not have charges.

I told her to contact insurance and she hung up on me. She later called me back saying they did not make a mistake and my wife is at risk of going to collections. She also informed me that I also had a charge of over $180 that will be billed to me. I questioned why my account shows a $0 balance and why it hasn't shown up after 3 months since our appointment, and she couldn't tell me.

I told her I would contact insurance myself and she began to try to pressure me to pay off the balance so "it doesn't hit your wife's credit." I contacted insurance and filed a complaint. The insurance supervisor contacted them to discuss this concern and the manager told the insurance agent that there were in fact other charges totaling over $400 but they decided to write them off, however we still owe over $180 each.

After a few calls, the insurance agent let me know that they "do not feel comfortable" with writing off the charges and they lied stating we "accepted" the procedures. My wife and I never agree to procedures that incur a cost until we save money to do it at a later date. They STILL have not returned my call. We are now forced to pay my wife's balance as it is now at risk for reaching collections.

I still have not received a bill for my charges that they tried to force me to pay weeks ago. I should have read the reviews prior to scheduling an appointment as many others have mentioned this office's tendency to inflate prices and overcharge for procedures insurance cover. If you are interested in receiving dental services, I would advise you to look elsewhere as this office is rude, unhelpful, and dishonest.

Horrible, incompetent, rude and unprofessional. Do not go here! If you do god help you, please dont allow them to do anything besides a regular cleaning and if they offer to do something major, GET A SECOND OPINION. They did a horrible job on extracting two teeth, it took more than 6 hours. I really believe these people were high on something. The owner shaved most of my enamel off my teeth after attempting a bridge.

I asked for my money back and they sent me a harrassment letter stating not to contact them anymore. My new dentist told me it is very uncommon to even do bridges nowadays and she should have never shaved so much enamel off, you want to keep as much enamel as possible. He asked who did it and he was surprised I told him the OWNER OF THE DENTISTRY did!

BEST DENTIST in town! I've always been terrified of going to the dentist but I actually look forward to my appointments at Stephanie Dental Group. The staff are very professional and kind. Dr. Quinn has so much compassion and takes her time every time I see her. She truly cares about her patients. You won't regret going to Stephanie Dental Group.

Excellent experience! Like many people, I had missed a cleaning or two and came in needing some catch-up treatment and cleaning which I thought was going to be painful, but it was literally painless! My family had nicknamed my old dentist "the butcher" but Dr Quinn has redeemed my faith in dentistry! the numbing shots were painless, the cleaning and cavity fillings were thorough and effective. Staff was kind and professional. I couldn't have been happier and now I don't skip my 6 month appointments.

If you read one review about this dental office, let it be this one! I've been a patient for 10+ years and I have loved it since my very first experience! They are kind and very professional. They genuinely care and want to know all about you to create the most positive experience possible. The staff makes it a priority to create trusting and long lasting relationships with you to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

I don't have insurance, however, I would rather pay out of pocket knowing I'll receive service to the highest standard, than pay less and get questionable or mediocre service. They also have financing options, which makes it more convenient when you can't pay in one installment! They make you WANT to come back, which is something I never thought I would say about a dental clinic!

Top of the line technology and great environment. My hygienist, Damaris Herrera, is sensational! I can not sing her praises enough! I've had to get a deep cleaning several times due to post partum pregnancy and too much time between visits, because let's face it.life can get in the way sometimes. Anywho, she is without a doubt the BEST at her job!

During my deep cleaning today she continuously checked with me to make sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. She was gentle and didn't rush through it. She took her time to make sure she did the best job possible, and my gums and teeth thank her! She has a big heart and I always know I'm in good hands! I just want to express my gratitude to everyone there! Thank you for always making me feel like a valued patient. I truly can't thank you enough! My forever dental home!

Such a great office! I called to make an appointment and they got me in right away. The staff is super friendly from the front desk to the assistants and doctors. I've never been a big fan of the dentist but they made me feel so comfortable. I am definitely going to recommend to family and friends!

Yelp and Google ask if I would recommend this Dental office? Five years ago I'd say yes. Now.a resounding NO! In fact I'll add NOT ON YOUR LIFE. I've canceled all future appointments. This office tried to swindle $1,147 from me with a deep cleaning.and they almost got away with it. The work was completed and WILLIS (Office Benefit Coordinator) said my Insurance won't cover the process.

He also said it's not uncommon. Based on this I paid the full amount. Much to my disappointment, I found out MY INSURANCE INFORMATION WAS NEVER SUBMITTED. I have been deceived by Dr. QUINN'S office. FIVE MONTHS LATER I DISCOVERED THEIR DECEPTION. I now know the staff took advantage of my age, my lack of understanding insurance billing, out- of -pocket costs, and my overly trusting nature to wage FRAUD against me.

I complained to WILLIS and only then was the claim sent in. It's unbelievable because I was a patient for years. After letting them know I'm on a disabled income, and letting them know they're caught red-handed, was a partial refund returned to me. I had to plead to the Office Manager, INGRID, rush the refund since it WAS MY MONEY. Bottom line is if I had not caught this theft they would have kept my entire payment without any insurance help.

It is downright disgusting. I would like to know how many other senior citizens have fallen prey to their scam. If you've ever paid out of pocket for procedures at STEPHANIE DENTAL GROUP, you might want to check your insurance billing because I know I'm not the first one that they lied to. I tried placing a call to Dr. QUINN'S offices for her to return my call but her employees said she doesn't return calls for small things. Yet, to a senior citizen on a fixed income this is no "small" matter but rather an injustice.

Today was my first visit to see Dr. Shafi. I cannot say enough good things about her and her ENTIRE staff. The front office, dental assistants and the doctor were PHENOMENAL. The treatment coordinator is a sweet heart. The dental assistants took very good care of me. Dr. Shafi is very personable and great at communicating. She really has her patients' best interests at heart and is not interested in just making a quick buck.

Her treatment was amazing. She was very comforting throughout me getting my feelings refilled that were fractured and she was gentle throughout the entire treatment. I'm very impressed with the quality of service I received from start to finish. I'll definitely be back long term. This dental office is a blessing.

Very disappointing visit. Dr. Sophia Quinn has good reviews but unfortunately her skills and professionalism must have skipped me. I lost count of how many times she said "Sorry about that" as she was tearing my gums apart. Both her and her assistant Sara need some lessons on how to floss (How-To floss lessons attached, hope it helps). I was tempted to get up and leave mid visit but with my busy schedule, I get little time off. Anyway, after all the stabbing, bleeding and having my lips suctioned off multiple times, I consider this the worst dental visit I've ever had.

I left with my gums bleeding (and kept bleeding for the rest of the night). Cleaning and filling was done. She numbed me good, maybe even a little too good because the numbness didn't wear off for the next 6 hours. I would have felt more of her gum stabbing had I not been numbed but the bleeding was enough for me know there was damage done.
