Star Dental

I took my time and consideration into writing this review. My teeth were perfectly fine and I only went to here to get usual check up(cleaning etc). I had my clean and needed 3 filling which came at cost of $220(copay). One the of filling started hurting and still hurts now. I told dentist and she said I need to see root canal specialist. I went and paid $45 and she found nothing. Dentist did refilling and pain is still there.

She told me I need to see to see the specialist again. I told her i did and she found nothing. She said "just tell to do root canal anyway". I said okay and didn't go back. I contacted old friend who is studying to be DDS and he said me to look for another dentist. I went this place because of high ratings on Google. And I wish I had checked yelp review instead.

There's people who had similar experiences as I did(CHECK YELP BEFORE GOING HERE). Going into doctors is already scary and when they don't give you clear answer, it's even worst.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Uma for over 2 years. She is a very humble and great dentist and has a wonderful staff. We were looking braces for my 13 yr son and we came to know that she is very experienced, so we visited and finally we got what we were looking. Last 2 years we are visiting to her clinic for any dental related work without second thought. Last but not least the staff is wonderful, very helpful. This was my best experience ever, I would definitely recommend to others.

Dr. Patel and her entire staff is very professional and helpful. My husband and I have been going to her for the last couple of years and she is amazing. She always takes time to explain the procedures, answers all our questions and never tries to rush through patients. As someone who has always been scared of doctors, Dr. Patel and everyone in her practice made me feel comfortable and safe.

She is very capable and her team is very well trained. Special shout out to Charleen for always making my experience a good one! I have had to see Dr. Patel multiple times during this last year for Invisalign treatment but even during Covid times, I have always felt safe here. I would highly recommend her.

Great experience and great service! I have been visiting Star dental for 2 yrs now. The service, professionalism, expertise of the doctor and her team has been exceptional. Dr. Uma Patel is very gentle in her approach & procedures which takes away a lot of anxiety and provides honest evaluation of dental problems/diagnosis. Dr Patel and her staff (special shout our to Sharleen) is amazingly helpful and friendly. First time I went in there, was advised on my options and associated expense with complete transparency. No pushing for add ons, no rushing though visitors. Definitely going to be my go-to place for time to come

I have had a great experience with Dr. Patel and her staff. Everyone who works here is so friendly. I have been going there for years now and have never left disappointed. They provide a great service and care to their patients. They are very flexible in accommodating for the appointments as well, I got my Invisalign treatment from them and I'm so happy with the results. I highly recommended them.

Dr. Uma Patel is the best dentist ever! My wife and I started seeing Dr. Patel about 2 years now and we are glad to be part of Dr. Patel's dental family. We were recommended by one of our family friends who is with Dr. Patel since last 10 years. She is patient-centric and builds long lasting relationship. She is very persistent, listens to her patients, extremely knowledgeable and performs dental procedures with an excellency.

My wife recently had her two implants done and both went very smoothly. Before the surgery we met with her and she thoroughly explained us what the procedure is and what to expect after its completed. She has tremendous amount of experience which puts you at ease. She takes really good care of her patients and is truly exceptional in every way. Nevertheless her staff is very accommodating and friendly. She and her team are amazing and we will continue to go there and would highly recommend Dr. Uma Patel to anyone.

Dr. Uma Patel is very good and caring doctor that I have seen. She handled me and my family very patiently and did her job wonderfully and she exceeded my expectations. Few years before I had a severe problem in my tooth and when I went to her she did orthodontic procedure very well. She always make me understand everything and provides me very good guidance with the available options. Also I had Invisalign procedure that was really taken care by her and staff with great care.

Dr. Uma is like an artist when she works on your teeth. I have great confidence in her ability and experience. Her pleasant attitude makes you forget why you are there. I hate going to dentist generally but with Uma it is a completely different experience. I look forward to seeing her. Sharlene her staff is cherry on the cake and very easy to deal with. I recommend others to experience this when needed.

Great staff! Dr. Patel made me feel extremely comfortable. She spent time with me showing step-by-step implant procedure. And more importantly procedure was done very nicely and now my front teeth looks amazing, I would highly recommend Dr. Uma Patel to anyone for implants. Her fees are lowest compared to other dentist in the area too for whole procedure, I spent some time comparing details implants with and without crowns, etc.

They deserve 10 stars :) Past three years, I have visited lots of dentist in Bay area for adult orthodontic services. Finally I reached here to Dr. Uma Patel, I never had to check with any other dentist anymore. She is so nice and friendly. She has done a wonderful job on my braces. After almost 1 year, last Tuesday, Doctor took of my braces and I was so surprised to see the result. I am so happy to see my teeth straight and beautiful. All the staffs and assistants are very friendly. I strongly recommend them :) :) :)

Definitely 5 stars for Dr. Uma Patel. I recommend her for anyone seeking an all-around great dental experience. The staff is friendly and very efficient in resolving all types of issues. The facilities are great. And most of all, Dr. Patel is an excellent dentist. She provides compassionate care and the dental work is top notch. I always feel great when I walk out of her office. I have been going to her for years, and so have many people I have referred to her. The dental procedures so far have gone smoothly.
