Dentistry is the treatment and prevention of disorders and diseases of a patient's teeth, gums, mouth, and jaw. Dentistry performed properly is necessary for complete oral health and it has a significant impact on the health of a patient's entire body. A dentist is a specialist who has been trained to diagnose, treat, and prevent oral health conditions and dental problems.
Here at DeKamore Dental we believe that everyone is entitled to a healthy and attractive smile regardless of their financial position. In order to help accomplish this, we offer a wide range of financing options that will meet nearly any budget. We accept all PPO plans as well as Medicaid (Medical Card) and Illinois public aid.
We know how difficult it is to take time out of your day for a dental appointment. In order to keep your appointment fast and simple please download the necessary forms and have them filled out when you arrive. We'll make sure to keep you for as little time as possible.
Your first visit here at Smiles on Randall will typically consist of a cleaning, an examination, and a review of your treatment options. If you accept treatment, we can begin with that treatment immediately. But, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require further evaluation and a second appointment.

Dr. Enberg and Shelby are the absolute best! I love the atmosphere and all of the staff are so friendly and caring. My daughter request Shelby every time as she makes her always feel so safe and comfortable! Thank you always Smiles for making our family feel so comfortable!

Took my almost 3 yr old for her first visit. My child is hyperactive by nature. She wasn't running around or anything but I did have to hold her still while dentist checked her teeth. WHICH BABE HANDLED VERY WELL. : But there was a remarks from dentist; " Are there any diagnosis that she has gotten?" In reference to my child being autistic.that wasn't on thr application. Felt very intrusive.

Then is second statement that follow was " shes only 2? She still TALL!" but what she meant was ".and big.tall and big." My daughter is a powerhouse, mostly muscle, with well eating habits.she's HEALTHY. Her doctor said her weight is proportional and average for her age. AFTER I took my daughter to car, to wait with family, I went back inside to finish paperwork.

Then the front lady.told me to put on my mask.which, masks are fine. Her attitude was NOT! She was SO SNARKY about it and continued to talk with tone of voice that was very annoying, to say the least. Like.if I hadn't been in my matured mindset, I would have called her out for it, rudely. Anyway, I had an appointment later that day at Smiles for myself but I decided to not even give them my business.

First let me state that Smiles on Randall has the best staff I have ever dealt with regarding dental services. Secondly, let me say I greatly appreciate you guys for giving me my smile back. My confident was long gone until I decided to visit Smiles Dental on Randall. I can now show my beautiful smile in family photos. Thanks Smiles Staff you guys rocks

Never going here or recommending this location! The office assured my brother that he needed to have a deep cleaning and that the insurance would cover it. I know the dentist office and insurance are two different entities but how can a dentist make a professional claim that a deep cleaning is absolutely necessary just to have the insurance say there wasn't sufficient evidence to have the procedure done in the first place?

This isn't the first time time this has happened with this location either. How can anyone take their word on what needs or doesn't need to be done? He was forced to pay full price for the procedure he didn't even need. He wasn't even notified until he received the bill 9 months later.

I had a very pleasant experience. The staff were attentive, professional, courteous, timely, positive, and knowledgeable. Would recommend them 5/5! I even had questions on my insurance deductible and they called my insurance and mediated without difficulty. I look forward to my next cleaning with them.

I had 3 teeth pulled today and she was so gentle and quick. I was terrified to come in because I had a bad experience at this place about two years ago. I was pregnant at the time and needed an extraction. My tooth would not numb up and the man pulling my tooth was getting extremely frustrated with me. Even went as far as yelling at me and telling me just to get out.

So I was reluctant coming in today for 3. But she did such an amazing job and I felt nothing. The other man I felt everything. So thank you for being so kind and making everything pain free.

Had my wisdom teeth removed. Waited 1.5 hours past my appointment time to get the procedure done. The procedure itself wasn't bad - but I was rushed out as soon as the operation was finished. The nurse explained something quickly about crunchy food and smoking but I didn't get a chance to ask her or the dentist follow up questions. I felt very rushed out when I had many questions but waited over an hour and a half for my appointment. I did get the sheet of paper explaining what you should do after - but it doesn't answer the questions or concerns I had.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prompt and quality service when I had my wisdom teeth extracted. The doctor was very patient and caring about making sure I was comfortable.

I literally have never had such a great experience at the dentist. The way they made me feel so comfortable and my kids. The Dr was gentle with my kids and I liked how they go over your plan and costs of everything. I will be coming back. Update review: Another great visit! Everyone here is so great. They might be very busy but they always make sure to take care of me. Thanks again smiles.

Ive had multiple health issues the month of October from surgery to my son getting sick. My surgery came out of the blue, and so I couldnt make my dentist appt. than my son is sick so I couldnt just bring him with me to the office, so the front desk lady Sarah supposedly was her name, was yelling on the phone and raising her voice, very unprofessional. Saying that Since im not coming, im on the same day appt list only, meaning all future appointments would be cancelled.

She said theres alot of people in this world getting sick, well if she knows that why wouldnt she acknowledge my request? Very rude I will not be coming here ever again. Then the last time I was there another client and her kids had to walk out, as soon as they left, I over heard the front desk lady say, oh my god shes such a karen. How do you speak on your clients behind their back and think its ok.

If I could rate this place lower I would. I've never had a more unprofessional experience at a dentist before. Not only was my dentist very rough with me, she was very judgmental. Saying things like "I knew the issue all a long" and that she "didn't wanna do all this work on me just for me to ruin my teeth all over again" and so forth. I don't know what person gets in the medical field just to be mean to PAYING customers but I wouldn't recommend this place unless you wanna cry. All in all I think it's time they look into the staff they hire if they wanna stay in any type of business.

TERRIBLE office! My friend had many teeth pulled in one visit. She has been in EXCRUCIATING pain for days! They REFUSE to see her to find out if she had dry socket, or an infection! What kind of doctor refuses to check up on their patient?! Everyone she has dealt with has been nothing but rude.

I'm sorry, did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours? The interaction I had over the phone with the front desk person: it was the most unprofessional, immature, chip on the shoulder attitude I've ever come across. This girl needs to be retrained on her customer service skills. Her customer service demeanor was out the window once she was confronted with a minor debate.

She was constantly interrupting. Raising her voice. Talking over me. UPDATE - March 24-2021: Received certified letter from Smiles stating that they want to discontinue our Doctor Patient relationship. Smiles, I already discontinued our relationship! Good one. Still no apology regarding my experience. Check this out.spelling mistake in letter: "Please get in touch with our staff to obtain any dental records YOUR may need." UPDATE - March 19-2021: HAD an appointment today.

They called and stated that they want to cancel this appointment because of the above review. They said if you want to keep your appointment than the review needs to be taken down. That's why there are reviews done.to keep people informed about truthful good and bad experiences people face. No one needs to be treated unfairly or talked to in an unprofessional way.

In the conversation today with the dental office, no inquiry was made to exactly what happened or an apology. No one took responsibility. This review still stands. It's evident that this office only focuses and responds to the good reviews and ignores the bad on here. Treat people how you want to be treated. Bad experiences = Negative Reviews.

Just look at all these negative reviews. I should have went onto Yelp. If I had seen all this, I would have went somewhere else. I will continue to spread the word about this bad experience not only online but via word of mouth. Folks - go somewhere else for your dental needs. I am.

Stay Away from Smiles On Randall! 2.5 stars on YELP Front desk person Esme is very rude and doesn't greet patients or maybe it's selective. She needs to be fired or at least reprimanded Discrimination is a sure way to lose Medicaid funding. If there are other patients that share my same sentiment, please comment below. Maybe we can forward these complaints to an attorney or law firm as part of a class action lawsuit.

DO NOT GO HERE! The front desk miscodes your procedures in order to get more money from you. My insurance company caught that and mailed me a report about it. Gabby was working the front desk and is insanely rude and should not have a job where you have to interact with others. I will not be returning and I suggest you do the same.

Awful experience today with the office manager, Gabby (I think). They canceled my appointment due to "insurance reasons", did not tell me and turns out they left messages at a nonfunctional old number. I get there ask why it was canceled and why they emailed me CONFIRMING the appointment but could not get a straight answer. Turns out my insurance caught them overcharging so that's why they canceled me!

As soon as I pinged out the overcharge and that they in fact owed me a credit, she got NASTY. I took it her nastiness calmly, turned around to leave and that's when she sneers at me in a condescending, challenging voice "I hope you have a great day". She SNEERED it! Then I turned right back around and told her you do not talk to me like that!

Then she SCREAMS "I am asking you to LEAVE RIGHT NOW!" OMG. You cannot treat customers that way, lady! It's clear from other Yelp reviews she's gotten away with it for years. Just STAY AWAY!

For this place being about smiles, the receptionist seems never have a smile and cannot even greet people when they come in through the door to say "hi" at least, manners are free people! The care they give is pretty basic, but it seems as though they want you to come back for extra expenses. I will say that there has been times where the filling of cavities have fallen out.

Do not come here. I have spent over $1000 getting dental work fixed and done the correct way. They kept re-doing cavities instead of treating my problem appropriately and preventing it from occurring again. I ended up needing root canals, crowns, and an orthodontic retainer.all of which they never even mentioned. And, the MDs keep changing and you never seem to know who your actual dentist is going to be that day.

We used to like coming here because we loved the hygienist Priscilla, but she has left and been replaced with someone else. Who my husband said was very aggressive and even called later in the day to complain. Stay far away!

They messed up my teeth they made my teeth worse. They did things to my teeth and didn't make me aware of it I was supposed to get one silver tooth I ended up with 4 when I don't no why and wasn't supposed to they put a white filling in it and never smoothed it out so I have a rough spot on my tooth and bugs the crap out of me. My right side of my mouth is all messed up I'm sooooo pissed!

I am waiting for a return phone call from someone in a position to make decisions. I take nothing back from my initial rave reviews and those dental hygienists, but this recent woman probably has issues surrounding NOT wanting to service particular patients. Each time I was even fortunate enough to get an appointment this female has had a bit of an attitude sitting right beneath the surface. This female tries to suggestive sell services most likely not necessary and not covered by insurance. I wonder her kickback?

They have been great with my 3 kids and they are always able to get my family of 5 in for appointments at the same time. Everyone is always friendly and helpful and I have never felt like they try to push unneeded care on us.

The dental assistant, along with dentist Kory Waid were extremely compassionate as I explained to them the lack of confidence & embarrassment I feel do to the condition of my teeth. I went in today to have my teeth fixed finally & Dr. Patel did an incredible job. My teeth look amazing & for the 1st time in a long time, I FEEL PRETTY AGAIN! Thank you so much, I will be a patient for life!

Fiance went here about a year back got some work done and then had to cancel some appointments due to work. Jump to today she calls to make an appointment with this place only to be told they cannot help her due to her canceling appointments a year ago which she had no knowledge of. The front office manager went on to tell her the only way to get appointments from now on was to call in every morning and to hope for a cancelation. Rather unfriendly place would suggest going anywhere else but here if you want a friendly place to get your teeth done.
