Carrie brings great joy into our office each day! She works closely with Dr. West to determine and present your treatment and financial arrangement, and has expertise working with many unique and different situations. Carrie moved to Truckee in 2009, from Wilmington, North Carolina, and holds a degree from East Carolina University in hospitality management with a minor in business administration.

Dr West and his entire staff are an asset to the community. Not only is his office completely professional and organized- but they put clients at ease. One child went through their entire ortho experience (2 stages) and we have nothing but positive things to say. We moved prior to our other child getting ortho work, but Dr West has remained a great professional asset to our 2nd child's needs.
He was involved in an accident and needs quite a bit of extra work and a team of dental professionals they work cohesively. This was especially challenging when moving, and Dr West provided support and research for finding a new team to work with outside of Truckee. Highly recommend!

I would give him 10 stars if I could! Dr. West and his team truly saved us in a time of dental emergency while on vacation. A wire from my niece's braces suddenly started sticking out into her cheek and causing her terrible pain, so she couldn't eat and was reduced to tears. On vacation up here, we had no idea who to call, but luckily we have great neighbors (to our vacation home) in Truckee who directed us to West Orthodontics, where there kids have clearly received great service.
Despite a full practice at a busy time, they made time to fit in my niece for an appointment immediately. Dr. West was not only extremely professional and efficient in fixing the dental problem, he made my niece feel at ease and really seemed like he cared. He left my niece with some handy dental wax and a big smile. We can't thank Dr. West and his staff enough for rescuing us in this time of family emergency and we give them our highest possible recommendation!

Usually, I don't write reviews.however, I have to say that this place do have a bad way with clients. I took my grandchild in and the lady at the front desk asked to leave the lobby area because of COVID restriction. It was snowing outside. I had to stay in a cold for 20 minutes and we took the bus to get there. She didn't ask in a polite manner. I am 80 years old and I was wearing a mask. Rude Staff. I hope the owner pays attention to that.

DR. West was ok. But I am glad my son is off braces. The staff, specially the woman at the reception (Nicole I believe).lord. They act like they were doing us a huge favor when I was paying big bucks for the service. My daughter needs braces now and I will be happy to drive to Reno once a month for 2 years. If you don't mind serious Pitbull faces and being mistreated bring yourself here. Otherwise stay out. All good reviews here is because they give you "points" if you post it for them.

Dr West and the whole staff are wonderful I live the communication along the path of treatment. I liked knowing what is happening and what to expect. They have assured me I was Not their oldest patient, and it's wonderful to be near completion as expected. I had other family members that we took to Reno before Dr West was established, but the youngest daughter came here, and I was so happy with her experience that I made the decision to fix my teeth as well. Always helping and adjusting to your calendar : Dr West explains everything really good and is relaly friendly. The prices are great too. A small hop outside Truckee, but very accessible for most of North Lake Tahoe. Very friendly and hands-on staff, would highly recommend Dr. West to anyone. Came in with one of those vocational emergencies, son hadn't misplace his retainer for about +2 weeks and it no longer fitted. Dr. West to the rescue! 15 minutes later my son's retainer is fixed and ready again for use. Hail Mary! Thanks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

West Orthodontics is fantastic! Dr. West and his staff are professional, attentive, friendly, reasonable, accommodating and best of all, excellent at their jobs! West Orthodontics makes going through the braces (Invisalign) phase as an adult an exciting journey rather than a trepidatious one. I highly recommend West Orthodontics for both children and adult orthodontia needs.

What a great office! We were on vacation and one of my daughter's ties broke on her braces. They got us in same-day, fixed her tie, checked her entire set of braces for other potential problems, and were just really nice folks. Makes me wish we lived in Truckee and could use them instead of our regular orthodontist.

While on vacation, my son had a bracket break freee and was bothering him alot. Not knowing any dentist in the area, we found Dr. West's office. They were able to see my son within about 30 minutes of me calling. It's great to know you can find an office, and they will see you ASAP. We were very both very impressed with the Dr. and his staff. Great job!

I started seeing Dr. West for Invisalign this summer. His office is extremely professional and very modern. They obviously cater a lot to kids and their braces so they offer fun snowboarding or cool Planet Earth DVDs playing while you are "in the chair" and have coffee, water and drinks for the waiting parents and other patients. Everyone in the office is very professional without being scary or stuffy : And Dr.
West is extremely friendly. He also explains every step as he is about to start but without adding time to your appointment. If you need an orthodontist, you won't find a better one.
