This is the highest priority of every team member, whether working on dental cleanings, cavity filling, CEREC single-visit crowns, or any of our in-house specialty services.
Sierra Lakes Dental Group & Orthodontics is committed to all-encompassing care with a patient-centric approach that employs the latest in leading-edge technology. We leverage all of this to meet your individualized needs while helping you improve your smile. Our services include cosmetic dentistry such as teeth whitening and veneers, clear aligners as a more aesthetically appealing alternative to metal braces, and dental implants for strong, permanent restorations. We look forward to caring for your smile!
Focus on stopping the bleeding and protecting the injured tooth or area by following the appropriate instructions in this section. Similar to braces, clear aligners use a gradual force to control tooth movement, but without metal wires or brackets. Routine dental checkups are vital to good oral hygiene and are the best way to detect problems at their earliest stages which saves unnecessary discomfort, time, and money. A filling repairs and restores the surface of a tooth that has been damaged by decay, fracture, or wear.
With proper care and good oral hygiene, the life of a tooth crown can range from 5 to 15 years. If a natural tooth-colored porcelain crown is chosen, our CEREC CAD/CAM treatment gives patients a completed permanent crown in just one office visit. Other types of crown require two office visits. Your dentist will recommend the best type of crown for your dental restoration needs based on the chewing placement and structure of the tooth or implant that requires protection. There are three types of crowns.

Horrible for service. Billing department has no knowledge on how billing works. They screw up the quotes that are initially given. When you are scheduled for a routine appointment and if they are pressed on time. They cancel the cleaning portion and make you reschedule. It's all about numbers. Get one member in and out, to work up the next customer.

Who they will over charge. Careful, if you have no pain then there is no need to fill unnecessary cavities. They love to perform unnecessary work. This was our experience. Sucks! My child has to finish up ortho care. I recommend not to come here.

This office is awesome. The staff is super friendly and professional. Annie did an amazing job on my replacement temporary crown. She made me comfortable and gave me a lot of information. She was genuinely concerned about making sure I was comfortable and understood what she was going to be doing.

They keep on convincing you for deep cleaning despite the fact that we have 2 free regular cleaning covered under dental insurance. (FYI, I am a young healthy person with good oral health) The hygienist barely spent any time to clean and polish my teeth but spent more time to convince me get deep cleaning done. It was evident that they wanted more money out of my deep cleaning versus the regular.

I moved out of the area and stayed with this office because they used to be friendly and accommodating. My recent experience took all that away. I'm a single, working mom and my choice of office has much to do with being able to make appointments that fit my schedule. When I called to make appointments for myself and my two sons I was told that they did not allow more than 2 family members in a day.

As a loyal patient of 13 years, I had never heard this. I voiced my concerns and after a hold I was then told I could have the appointments but threatened if I canceled I would NEVER be accommodated again. Accommodated? Since when is the "convenience" aspect held for the company and not the patient? I show up for my appointments, for years. Suddenly my family is a burden to accommodate?

Now this is all I can think of when I think of my upcoming appointments. That snide threat over the phone. I can certainly find a rude and unaccomodating dental office closer to my new home if that is going to be the standard.

I have tried to give this office the benefit of the doubt but they let me down time and time again. After a root canal they messed up my jaw joint so bad I had to seek medical attention (though they claim nothing went wrong). The male orthodontist is so rude and demeaning. He never explains anything and if you ask a question he gets super annoyed at you and answers vary sharply. Getting information from them is a nightmare.

I have to call multiple times to get price estimates and information about orthodontic procedures. I have even gone in to an appointment only for them to tell me that I have the wrong day (even though they called the previous day to give me a reminder). Most of the office staff is rude and not helpful. All of the techs are super nice and some of the dentists. However those few people can not redeem the apathy and rudeness of the rest of the office. I would seek care elsewhere.

Most uncoordinated staff in the world. Had an appointment for first thing in the morning and was in the waiting room for over an hour before they approached me. Front office staff members look unprofessional for being employed in the medical field. Waiting room chaotic and staff too busy gossiping and giggling with each other to actually do their job. Also, way too overpriced in comparison to other dentist offices in the area. Not coming back here.

I've been going to this dental office for 12yrs. DR Jefferson is great, he is my preference always but the specialists are good as well. However the dentist and the office are only as good as the supporting staff. Angela, Malcolm, Walter, Carissa.they make the visit not so bad. They get to know you and do what they can to make the experience a good one.

Outstanding service! Dr. Jefferson and Walter are THE DREAM TEAM! Dr. Jefferson's bedside manner is impeccable! In spite of having extensive dental work, service was quick and efficient. The office is very nice, they practice social distancing plus excellent customer service! I will definitely refer everyone I know! Paris Conner

The dental staff was great & loved the dentist. BUT I think they are way over priced & their in house dental plan is a joke. ALSO, When I was in there with my daughter I gave her my ATM card so she could leave when she was done. She went to the front to pay they told her there was nothing due, so she left. I checked out, paid the $95.00 for my cleaning and left.

I get a bill 2 weeks later for $154 less the $95.00 I already paid. When I called to question the bill they stated it was for my daughter. Which makes ZERO sense. IF it was for my daughter it would be under a different patient number & they would not deduct my cleaning towards hers and with the in house dental insurance I paid for she should have gotten her second basic check up & cleaning at no charge.

Complete scam. IF they wanted to charge ME the $154.00 for "Professional Services", my cleaning should of been at a discounted rate with this in house insurance as well. This Dentistry is part of a chain, they do not set their own pricing. Monet Dental in Rancho is a sister dentistry.

Yesterday I went in for a general examination and dental cleaning. Everything went well the dentist said all was good and recommended a deep cleaning and possible removing a old crown and replacing with a new one at a later time. Then the office assistant came in to tell me the cost for deep cleaning and crown replacement. I requested only a regular cleaning she responded that if I did not have the general cleaning at approx. $400.00 I could not do a deep cleaning for 6 months.

That was okay with me, I would be back in six months. Then the office manager came in and told me that if I did not have the deep cleaning I might have a heart attack and I already show bone loss. This was very strange because I am in good health and the dentist did not ever mention bone loss or heart attack! I again requested only a cleaning, I was told straight forward if I did not have the deep cleaning at $400.00 they refuse to provide any service! Their scar tactics did not work! They left me thinking how many people have they been scamming? Beware you may have been scammed for unnecessary dental work.

Best dental experience I've had! Dr. Schmidt and the entire staff were very friendly and professional. I was very nervous when I arrived but everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. If you are just in need of a good cleaning, as for Jen! She's awesome! I will definitely be continuing my dental services with Sierra Lakes Dental Group.
