Better than 1 star because of dr.siegelmans atleast mild consideration of mental health, and ability to listen. dr.currier is nice too. i do not care for reva the cleaning hygienist as she did not cater to my specific needs, and even carried out an action despite the fact that i specifically asked her not to. I will not be coming back here for that reason.

Amazing dentist and hygienist. X-rays are always fast and easy. Cleaning is fantastic! Great dental care without any hassle! Couldn't be happier with this practice!

Wonderful staff. EXCELLENT doctor. I have never met someone so kind and patient. My mother has end stage renal failure and Alzheimers amongst other conditions and he did not miss one step. I am a Nurse Practitioner for many years and I can 100% recommend this practice.

Fantastic mission, but as usual with doctors who specialize in mental health, the office is only accessible to upper-class phobics. They do not take insurance. They file claims, which is nice, but you'll have to have $400 dollars in disposable income ready to go just for a consultation.

Dr. Siegelman and his team team have fully cured my dental anxiety. Dr. Siegelman takes the time to get to know his patients and their concerns and explains all of his procedures and technologies in as much or as little detail as you'd like. I have always had trouble getting numb at the dentist, but Dr. Siegelman used cutting edge technology to ensure I didn't feel a thing during my filling (and I didn't).

The office staff and dental hygienist are equally as warm and welcoming. Patients are asked if they have a musical preference, and if they need a blanket, sunglasses, and chapstick. I also received the most comprehensive cleaning of my life. If you hate the dentist (or even if you don't!) make an appointment with Dr. Seigelman. I'm already looking forward to my next 6 month cleaning.

I am someone who truly experiences dental phobia. This left me with severe dental issues. I can't begin to explain how happy I am to have found this dental practice. I have had major work done her over the years with no issues at all. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. They explain all planned work and listen to, and address, all of my concerns. They understand my fears and do everything possible to alleviate them. I can smile again! I highly recommend this practice!

If I could give Dr. Siegelman 100 stars I would. If you are in search of a dentist go here! You will love it. They are a great practice with the nicest people you will meet at any office. They also cater to anyone that is fearful of the dentist. I was really nervous because I needed some major work done and it was a breeze! It was actually a good experience. When was the last time you said that about the dentist. Dr. Siegelman is a life changer.

If you have been putting off seeing the dentist but you know you need to go (like I did), I couldn't recommend Dr. Siegleman any more. They take their time and are used to dealing with folks who have some qualms about getting in that chair. The easiest dentist I have ever seen as a patient.

I am extremely dental phobic after having some terrible experiences. My mouth and teeth were a mess and I desperately needed to find a dentist. Alot of dentists say that they cater to dental phobics but they do not. And then I found Dr. Louis Siegelman and his staff. Dr. Siegelman called me before my appointment to introduce himself. During my consultation I felt that they truly understood me.

On the day of my appointment I was feeling a bit panicked but they allayed all of my fears. They are a bit pricey but so what. His entire staff is friendly, caring and professional. I'm telling everyone I know to utilize his services and I will be a customer for life. Bravo Dr. Siegelman and staff.

Dr. Siegelman and all of his professional, friendly, caring staff is like no other. I have anxiety about going to dentists and watched a video on Dr. Siegelman's website and emailed them straight away. I saw a caring Dr. speak about my concerns on the video. I emailed and got a response directly from Dr. Spiegelman. I made an appointment via Julia and Lulu and met with the Dr. who spent the time to speak with me personally on all my worries and concerns.

He thoroughly examined my teeth and came up with an excellent, not dire, plan. I have just been through the initial treatment and everything was superbly carried out. Every single person of his staff are A+++. Renata, Reva, Patty, Fernanda, Lulu, Julia and Dr. Spiegelman. I cannot state enough glory about this practice. The best. Also Dr. Spiegelman phoned me up personally after my first treatment to check on me. Thank you everyone! You are the best.

Years of bad dentistry left me with fears of not only going to the dentist, but the pain and anguish of someone with a low pain threshhold going through routine care. Dr. Siegelman's practice is amazing and understanding: judgement and pain free, before, during and after your procedures. Could not recommend highly enough.

Amazing experience! If you have been stopping yourself from going to a dentist because of any reason, this is your place. I have severe gag reflex and no dentist was able to perform a root canal for years. Dr. Siegelman is very empathetic and keeps human experience and feelings first. I wouldn't allow any dentist to even touch my mouth, and Dr. Siegelman was completely fine with that.

They did everything when I was asleep under IV sedation, which I actually enjoyed! In the world where all other dentists treat patients like animals, this dentist is changing the future of dental experience. They are little pricey but worth it, they do not take insurance but they help you to submit the claim to your insurance later. Lulu is an amazing person who can help. Keep rocking guys.

Dr. Siegelman and his entire staff put me at ease from the moment I stepped foot into the office. I feel honored to be one of Dr. Siegelman's patient's. Not only is he gentle with an excellent bedside manner, but he also happens to be a wonderful dentist. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to the next time I have to visit his office and will never go to another dentist ever again. Dr. Siegelman and his entire team are amazing. The entire experience from the moment you walk through his doors to the moment you leave is beyond amazing. I have now been a patient for a little over 1 year and don't plan to leave. If you are worried about corona and going to a dentist, I think his office is more clean and germ free then anywhere in NYC.

He has installed special lights all throughout the office that kill germs, great air circulation, air purifiers everywhere and some larger scale germ eliminating equipment. The women who cleaned my teeth was gentle and was constantly checking in on me. If you have dental anxiety I can 100% promise you that you will feel at complete ease and comfort. Thank you to the entire team for making each and every visit of mine a smooth one! Keep up the great work!

Hands down by far the best dentist one could go too. Not only is he a charismatic guy himself but his work is flawless. No pain or issues after leaving and is beyond gentle. Takes his time to make sure you are comfortable and the entire staff is amazing. Lulu at the front desk to everyone else that assists him. If you live in the NYC area, this is your dentist. If outside of the NyC area, he is worth the trip for dental work. Thank you team!

I take very good care of my oral hygiene but I have to tell you, I am deathly afraid of the dentist. I have dodged appointments for years. I saw Dr Seigelman's commercial on TV and that he caters to people like me. I've been told before by many previous dentists that they also cater to dental phobia patients, but Dr Seigelman takes it a step that is MUCH Further. First, I have to say he's a great dentist, but above and beyond that, he is also a wonderful human being.

He takes an incredible amount of time to make sure you are 100% comfortable before you even have a procedure done. He gives you many different options of sedation which I chose to be put to sleep, because this talented dentist is also an anesthesiologist. Although he could have made more money putting me to sleep, he called me the day before my scheduled appointment and suggested that with the work I was having done I did not need the anesthesia and he thought that the oral sedation that he had would work fine.

He was right! I took the oral sedation in the office and in about 10 minutes later I went into the chair he did all the work, even cleaned my teeth and I didn't feel a thing. I woke up and felt great. I just want to say again he is an excellent dentist and a wonderful human being who takes the time and effort to talk to you down off the cliff.

They, that is the whole office, are really great. I think that they make dentistry pleasant, and they're really good at the medical part too. I know a little bit about it, as I grew up with a father who had a dental practice, dedicated to families and, personalized care. I don't have great teeth or gums and have felt badly about that. I have seen Dr. Currier for several treatments, and am feeling better than I ever thought I could, about seeing a dentist and a practice.

I highly recommend the practice to anyone who wants to see a caring practice with gifted dentists. If you have concerns or fears about dentistry, they will address them, so that they dissipate- I went from fear and dread to healing.

It's a calm peaceful relaxing safe and HEALING place for the dentally traumatized/terrified. A place filled with love acceptance encouragement support understanding patience & compassion. I especially adore Melissa. The best cleanings I've ever had. Zero pain no blood no gagging no terror. Totally peaceful. The perfect PTSD healing oasis and they are fabulous about handling unique disabilities rare diseases etc

There is absolutely no better place. I went to see Dr. Siegelman and was so absolutely nervous about the visit because I knew I had a serious tooth problem. The whole office made me feel so welcome and relaxed. Dr. Siegelman was so genuinely kind and non-judgemental. I highly recommend Dr. Siegelman. After my procedure, which I might say was pain free (extraction), the office texted me over the weekend to make sure that I was feeling ok (which I was). Great Great dentist and staff

I dont understand the positive reviews. I went to this dr after hearing his radio commercials. I had a partial denture that was loose and hurting me. This dentist wiggled it back and forth and said he couldnt get it out then but to make another appt with his front desk. The front desk gave me a print out for 5 000 worth of work i needed including a gum scraping. I never went back. He didnt get me out of pain and btw no other dentist from then on told me i needed a gum scraping. So much for his commercials

Mr Louis Siegelman is the best dentist I've come across in my 41 years on this earth. He's knowledgeable, listend to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. I have extreme dental phobia so dentist in general give me cold sweats and panic attacks. Dr Siegelman made me feel safe and explained every step of the way. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with him and all the incredibly warm and friendly humans working there. Hat's off! Thank you!

Anyone looking for a dedicated and warm dentist who will walk you through the complexities of dental care must see Dr. Currier! I see her for my Invisalign treatment and couldn't be happier. I learned a lot about the treatment process from my initial consultation and in turn she made sure to address my concerns and expectations. My seamless and painless experience with Invisalign so far is all due to her meticoulous approach to dental care and genuine caring manner.

To be perfectly honest, I never thought I would be able to write such a positive review about going to the dentist. I have an inexplicable fear of dentists so found Dr Siegelman's practice while researching dentists who specialize in dental phobia and nervous patients. My experience at this practice has been positive from start to finish. My initial consult was great - a non invasive examination of my teeth where Dr Siegelman carefully checked what was going on and one of his very sweet dental nurses carefully took a full set of x-rays being really careful not to hurt me or cause discomfort.

I was fortunate enough to be fitted in for an appointment the next day to remove a wisdom tooth that was causing issues, get a deep clean and sort out a couple of cavities. I arrived for the procedure and was greeted in such a warm and caring way by all the staff there I felt immediately calm and in great hands. I was made comfortable in a very cozy room, covered with a warm blanket so I was comfortable and the nurses chatted with me so I didn't climb the walls : Eventually I was given an IV and put to sleep via anesthetic.

When I woke I felt zero pain and all the work had been done. They even let me sleep a couple of extra hours while helping me drink a cup of coffee, some water and offering me ice cream. I should also add my friend picking me up told me after we left that he wouldn't hesitate to go to Dr Siegelman as his primary dentist - and that was just after him hanging out in the lobby and talking to the staff for a couple of hours - I think this really says a lot!

He was impressed. So I've found my new dentist - today I am home with no swelling at all, feeling like my dental health is on its way back to where it should be and happy to have found a dentist whom I trust and feel super comfortable with. I even feel zero anxiety about going for a follow up appointment. I can't say enough positive things about Dr Siegelman and everyone at his practice. Even if I move to another state, this is a practice I would take a flight to come back to! I cannot thank them enough!

I went to Dr. Siegelman at the recommendation of a friend. I was greeted warmly by his staff. His hygienist, Melissa is very skilled and gentle. After my cleaning, I also consulted with Dr Siegelman about a troublesome tooth that other dentists had (i) recommended I get a root canal on given the minimal root structure or (ii) proactively consider an implant before the tooth breaks (the tooth has damage from a former wisdom tooth extraction). Dr. S approach the situation with fresh approach, recommending a minimally invasive intervention.music to my ears!

The doctor and his team are personable, warm, and really seem to put the comfort of patients first. Dr. S and his team did an A+ job! Looks like I have a new dentist! Highly recommended.

Part 2 of review (first was on 1/14/2014) So this was the day of my first actual dental treatment! I will describe exactly what happened and then add a few words about my overall experience. I arrived with my usual awful anxiety about having dental work done. I sat in the waiting room after having been warmly welcomed and right away I felt a little calmer because of how the staff approaches you.

I felt immediately more relaxed, because they expressed confidence and reassurance, wonderful to get for someone like me! They gave me some mild medication to calm me and within minutes I felt "I can really do this." I met with Dr. Seigelman again, and he was very calming and gentle. When I was ready, they brought me to a wonderfully calming dental room, all I really focused on was the lovely and cozy looking dental chair, which resembled a less threatening version of the dental chair we all are so familiar with.

I was given an iv, because I chose not to be awake for the procedure.it was all very comfortable and pleasant, and within what seemed to me to be minutes I awoke refreshed and relaxed! Done! Dr. Siegelman was right there, along with the kind, familiar faces of the staff. I DID NOT need a root canal, which is what I had been told by the other dentist I had visited.

My teeth look better than they have in such a long while, they look bright and white, and I had no visible swelling or pain. The dental cleaning I was given was very thorough and the fillings done (one big and one small) I can't even feel! Once again, Thank you Dr. Seigelman, for your wonderful diligence, your honesty, and your perfect staff.

I will be your patient for the rest of my life! Oh, I did forget to add, prior to my treatment, one of the staff, actually asked me what sort beverage/anything she could get for me for when I awake.she actually got me a container of large, cool orange juice, because I told her that was my favorite drink. Upon awakening, it was right there for me! I just can't even say enough about all of his support staff, each in their own way unique, caring and so well-trained. I've truly never experienced anything like this, even at a doctor's office or at a hospital.

They honestly should be a model of medical care. No one should have to experience fear again regarding their dental experience. I hope that one day, someone can do a video or interview Dr. Seigelman on his approach with patients and all the attention to detail. He puts in a huge amount of effort to what actually one experiences as effortless by him. One can tell he truly loves what he does. I knew what everything was going to cost up front and there were no surprises!

I've been going to Dr. Siegelman's office since 2004 and every moment there has been wonderful. Dr. Siegelman's skills and bedside manner are perfect, and Dental Hygienist Melissa is both a true professional and a gentle, empathetic wonderful person as well.

Dr. Siegelman is kind, attentive, and made our family feel right at home. My mom and I visited Dr. Siegelman's office looking for a special kind of dentist to provide dental care for my younger brother. He is 16 years old and is an individual with autism. He is also primarily non-verbal and has difficulty adapting to new and unfamiliar settings. Naturally, we were nervous about how his needs would be communicated and addressed. Dr. Siegelman and his staff were warm, patient, and treated us like family. Dr. Siegelman answered all of our questions and discused every imminent detail in a way that was clear and consice.

His team (including the receptionists, and dental assistants) were very personable and easy to talk to. The entire team helped to calm our fears and made us feel right at ease. Most importantly, they treated my little brother with the utmost respect. They addressed him directly, smiled and laughed with him, and even encouraged us to bring his favorite items (including dvd's and a stuffed animal) to help him feel relaxed and comfortable in an unfamiliar setting.

Not only did his teeth come out looking phenomenal, but Dr. Seigelman set us up with a managable dental regimine that we can continue at home with him and supplied us with all the necessary materials. I couldn't have asked for a better overall experience and we would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone!

I just moved back to New York about 4 month ago. Now that I'm finally working in the city I can afford Dental. I have not been to a Dentist in about 12 years.! I Looked around online & found Dr. Louis Siegelman. Called his office & spoke to Kelly (Real Nice Lady) and she was able to let me talk to the Dr. 1st before I made my appt. To be honest I was embarrassed not only to say I'm afraid of needles in my mouth or anywhere else for that matter, but my mouth has not been professionally cleaned in 12 years. Dr. Siegelman was GREAT. Had my Appt. which was yesterday 10/20/11 had my whole mouth cleaned, 4 cavaties and teeth whitening all in 1 visit.

Best Part is I slept the whole time, never felt a thing. I feel Great.! I wanted to Thank Dr. Siegelman and his team! I will refer him to anyone who is like me. Anyone With a Fear of the Dentist. Dr. Siegelman's soothing voice and professional radio ad promted me to call and make an appointment the next day. His office staff and dental hygienist went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. There's no doubt in my mind that this is an invaluable connection for anyone who has any anxiety regarding dental work.

Great guy! Great team! I am very afraid of the dentist and had to go for an appointment last minute, I was all nerves. We found them on the internet and made an appointment, The doctor was great, he even offered his after hours number if I wanted to call him if I had any fears! I came in and all went sooo smoothly. I have another appointment coming up and I am actually looking forward to it.geez! I recommend this office completely if you have any fears of dentist and want smooth friendly professional care for you teeth!
