I was here last Thursday and did regular cleaning and the Dr said I need deep cleaning and made on appointment for next Thursday I came and waited until they called me and I was lying down inside waiting for Dr to start cleaning then they told me they can't do cleaning they have to get some approval from my insurance. I told if needed approval why you made on appointment for to come here and waste my time looks like they did not even care about patients time they just want our money that is all

Ohh man, waited 20+ years to give this review to this dumb***, respectfully. This POS "dentist" talked my parents into getting 3 root canals for their kid on the 4th grade. a totally unnecessary, PAINFUL, and traumatic procedure on a 9 year old. let that sink in. I still do not trust dentists because of this man. This guy is a prime example of a leech- he is money hungry and will make you do completely unnecessary and painful procedures to get money from you and your insurance. DO NOT TRUST HIM! Go to anyone else, run the other direction when you see the name 'Shoker Dental' anywhere.

Horrible horrible horrible doctor. We traveled from far to his office in Fremont. For the teeth extraction and the dentures. For approximately eight months. Thank God we had insurance but we still paid quite a bit out-of-pocket. For him to make new dentures and Adjust them. This doctor but so much experience doesn't know how to adjust a denture.

We came to his office almost every second week continuously for nine months from so far and it resulted in nothing we tried to work with the doctors so much the denture is not Adjusted And it's already broken. We had no choice but To give up on him. We are very very unhappy. Please do not go there and waste your money and time. And to make matters worse his front staff was very rude on a couple of visits. This is plane. I believe his website has all the fake good reviews which you see. Very disappointed hugely disappointed

Dr. Shoker told my mother she needed a root canal, she went to a different dentist to get a second opinions at my request; it turns out she did not need a root canal and was treated for gum inflammation. Please do your research.

The absolute WORST dentist I have ever been to. Incredibly rude, unprofessional, and very uncomfortable experience. They are very forceful and terrible. I said stop and they didn't stop. They laughed at me. I left crying. If you care about yourself avoid this place.

They do not seem to value people's time. The appointment was at 1:30 pm PDT and it is now 2:26 pm PDT and yet we have not been called in

I feel so lucky to have discovered Shoker Dental! When I needed a crown, I called numerous offices around the east bay to find the best quotes. Shoker Dental had (and still has) the best deal, so of course I had to come here for it. After my first appointment with them, I just knew I had to make this my permanent spot for all my future dental work.

The entire staff are all professional, kind, and you can definitely tell that with everything they do they have their patients' best interest at heart. I highly recommend choosing Shoker Dental for all your dental needs!

I took my mother for her broken denture. They worked very politely and Dr Shoker is an excellent doctor since he is also my primary dentist. I never like to go anywhere because other dentist likes to make money on small things. However Dr Shoker and his Team are very reasonable and they make teeth care very affordable in this time and age. They are doing lot and lots of charity as well.

They do not only do their work efficiently, but they also follow through with excellent service. I take my whole family to Dr Shoker, Fremont office and I never had any issues. I recommend Dr Shoker and his team to all my friends and family. If you are looking from justing cleaning to implant visit him. He is a very good dentist. Even though I had an appointment, I had been waiting for 50 mins. Don't take the appointments if you can't take the patient on time please. Not everyone has extra time to wait.

DO NOT GO HERE. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. ILL BE REPORTING A FORMAL CLAIM AGAINST THIS PLACE. My dad went here after having pain in his gums, they removed one tooth and left him with unbearable pain, they do an absolutely shitty job and have no clue what they're doing. These dentists are incompetent, please do not bring yourself or anyone you know here it is wildly dangerous to your personal health.

This man should not be a doctor and deserves to go to prison, DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. My dad will be going to the emergency room immediately, and we will we contacting a lawyer.

I went to the dentist to get a cleaning done. Gurman Shoker performed the cleaning, I was in pain throughout the whole process and even told him that I have never been in pain while getting a cleaning done. My gums were bleeding after the cleaning and on the way home and he didn't say a thing. Although I'm not a dentist, I'm sure you don't need to be that rough when cleaning someone's teeth.

During the cleaning one of the tools were broken and leaking, he asked for another one and that one was broke and leaking as well. Gurman also decided to give me a deep cleaning when I asked for a regular cleaning. He did this without asking for my permission.

The worst dentist in Fremont, unprofessional and rude. Don't come here unless you want to have no self esteem left by the time you're done with your appointment and unnecessary procedures being forced on you. Horrible bedside manner from all dentists working at this location as well front desk staff. They will mess your teeth up on purpose to have you come back and spend more on them.

This location don't even have a system for appointments, they make appointments by using a an appointment chart on paper! It's 2021 and you can clearly see how cheap this guy is once you walk in and notice how things are.

This is for San Ramon location. Make sure you keep a proof of your payment as their billing department is a mess. You will be told you have not made the payment even after they successfully clear the check months ago.

Horrible experience, the dentist there was extremely unprofessional and rude, he continued his procedure when I told him to stop multiple times. I left in extreme pain and will be pressing charges if he does something like this again. Avoid this office at all costs, they are rude and unprofessional.

Honestly it was so bad so I was told I have a appointment I got there they made me wait for so long and then I was called in and then they were like you have root canal today and I said what how I thought it was cleaning and then they were like sorry wrong patient actually you don't have appointment today come next week after making me wait 2 hours and on top of that they have always done a very bad job and so unprofessional! My wife went to shokar dental for cleaning they did worst job and didn't clean properly for two week she was in pain her gum was bleeding and swollen she went again to them they say it will get better then after few days she went emergency they told her shokar must did something wrong then she wrote review about them later after 10 days she went them to fix what they did with her as emergency told her to go to them if not get better in two days then shokar start fight with her they were more worried about review they demn care about patient while she was in worst pain red gum bleeding swollen gum which he admit that am more concern about review long story short they scared her that you will loose tooth soon and that they can't do anything and that problem was before which they didn't told her before cleaning (which they supposed)but actually they lie to her. then she went to tricity who clean properly and told her that cleaning was not done properly and after cleaning within two hour her gum swollen reduce and she feel much better now she is perfect so please don't go to shokar they are greedy, they don't care patient they care only about money. I have had nothing but great experiences and service from Dr. Shoker's Fremont office. I travel from the valley to come see him. I have been coming here for years and so has my entire family. We have had things done from tooth pulled, fillings, root canals, crowns, bridges and more. We have always been more than satisfied with Dr. Shoker's professional work. He will always be our family dentist until he retires or close and hopefully either won't be for a long time. He is the greatest! We absolutely love him!

Very bad experience a lot of bleeding during cleaning and after that from 5 days while hum swollen having an ulcer in month please don't go there they are very bad

Pros: Doctor Shoker replies for all emails. Cons:Too much wait time, they swipe away all your insurance money. I had to pay 250$ on top of my insurance of 2500$. I went for cleaning and they asked me to do a deep cleaning and it was not done properly. My Invisalign braces took long time to deliver and they told me they cannot have give me a retainers.

If needed they asked to pay extra 200$ They had my name entered wrongly in their system and they took a month to figure it out. Staffs don't pay attention. Hence they cannot figure my insurance details. Staffs at the lobby doesnt know much info. Every time a new person attends the call.

Too much wait time even during the pandemic. The waiting area is full of people with relatives. They schedule lots of people at one time. So basically if you have a 10am apt. expect 10 + more people at that time for apt. They are operating at full capacity so don't be surprised if you have a appointment. Consider your appointment as a walk-in patient.waiting is so long.

This place doesn't even sanitize the inside seat after the patient is done with the procedure. next patient is asked to lay down on the same medical seat. Alameda county should look into this. To add to this if you have appointment is with Dr. Shoker (senior), he will see you not more than 3 minutes for a total of more than 3 hours spent over there. One of the front desk staff does not cover her nose properly with the mask, so kind of scary feeling. but she will ask all patients to wear mask which is a good thing.

Preeti in the Milpitas location was super helpful and helped me save a lot of money for my dental surgery. I look forward to going back again and also referring my friends and my family to Shokar Dental. Thank you Preeti!

If you have loved ones who go to this dental establishment I highly urge you to rethink everything about your life. Today my sweet angel was hurt by none other than the man himself Shoker. In my personal opinion if the man who's name is on the businesses sign is a absolute DONUT and can't perform routine dental procedures with the slightest bit of care or thought then that business is absolute dog water and everyone working there shares a collective of 3 brain cells. This business must be shut down I will not rest, I will not sleep until Shoker pays for his crimes.

I have a broken wisdom tooth with a lot of pain radiating to my brain. and I decided to try and scheduled the appointment with them, Same day appointment for emergency and guess what the wait time was not bad. I went through registration quickly after 15 minutes I had an amazing assistant take me to the chair where I would wait and see the dentist. The dentist I saw was a wonderful lady who pulled my tooth same day. I felt no pain. I will forever be grateful :

Service is good but the waiting time is so long. Like seriously what's the point of appointment? I literally wait for 3 hours and told doctor I can't wait anymore so then they take me in.

PLEASE, PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE, my husband and I, we went there for a root canal, the first visit they did x-ray and cleaning, the second time I paid from my own pocket $500 because they said I needed to finish payment with in mu 3 visits, so I went there 3 TIMES and the dr sent me home saying he was not able to work on my tooth because it did not take enough namness, so I trusted him but the pain got worse and worse every time, I decided to go with another dentist and he did AN EXCELENT JOB, my husband had a worse experience. HE GOT TRIGEMINAL NEURLGIA BECAUSE OF THIS DOCTOR SHOKER.

If there is any negative marking i will give -5 to this place. Never ever go to this place. They just want to make money that's it, they don't care about u even if u are in so much Pain. I went for deep cleaning which cost me $450 and Dr. shoker asked his new trainees to do deep cleaning and they did it so bad that the blood was coming out of my teeths for two days and when i called dr. shoker that this happened, instead oh helping me he asked me to go to Emergency which later cost me $2000. Dr at Washington hospital asked me which stupid did that, they did it so aggressively that they pulled out one of your gum.

Later after the treatment i went to Dr. shoker office to make a complaint and i told the receptionist about it and asked to meet Dr, she said he is not in the office and said he will call u for sure but i never got a call. Dr Shoker was so irresponsible that he didnot even bother of calling back. In the end i will say just don't waste your money at this place.

There service here sucks. I went there last year and was told my cleaning would be covered by insurance. After a year later, they send me a bill saying I owe them money. It doesn't make sense why it took them a year to realize. Before the cleaning I made sure my insurance would cover it. I wouldn't gotten it done otherwise. It's the worth the hassle.

If you care about your teeth at all. Don't even think about coming here. Not only will you experience long waits, physical pain, but whatever work you get done from this place will not last. This place is the reason people hate going to the dentists. It used to be a great place to come get when I was growing up, but now it's all about money.

My Experience of services by Doctor Shoker has been extremely good. I am very happy with the services they give and how they ensure safety of patients. Particularly Preety has been very kind, helpful and answered all my queries very nicely. She ensures patients dont have to wait long and are attended asap and in time. Appreciate the services.

Dr shower was so incredibly kind. the extraction of my wisdom teeth was such a smooth and quick process. he made me feel at ease. prices are amazing. would definitely recommend.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I went here to do a cleaning, and it was done by individuals who training! They ended up chipping my tooth, ( probably in hopes I'd come again and pay them for fixing it) I have also never chipped or broken a tooth before, but they did during a cleaning? Also the wait time for an appointment is ridiculous. I got my wisdom teeth out here and that was the worst experience of my life.

The dentist had no idea what he was doing. They kept me awake during the entire procedure and I felt EVERYTHING! I even tried to tell the doctor I was in immense pain and all he kept saying is " you're okay." That's BS because how would he know if I was okay or not. And then he's telling me how he's scrapping out my gum or cutting open my gums as he's doing to procedure while I'm fully Awake and of course that would freak me out? Like what sort of sadistic guy would do that? Overall if you can avoid coming to this place, you should. It's not worth the pain.

I've been coming to Dr. Shoker since I was a kid. I recently tried another dentist and heavenly regret it. I've always had great service and honesty. The prices are extremely fair. Customer for life.

Not a great experience.this is my first time here and my appointment is scheduled for 4 and was never called till 5. I have no idea what is going on there. They should rather schedule the appointments correctly rather than wasting everyone's time.

An awesome guy knows what he was doing. A friend of mine referred me to him and he was right. Now I would strongly recommend all my friends to him.

Dr shoker is the worst dentist in Fremont don't go here unless you want to throw away your money in the pockets of a greedy man who doesn't care about your health but wants to get as much money as he can out of your pocket. Dr. Alpa cracked my crowned tooth with some sort of device when I said my crown was loose. which shockingly remained "undiagnosed" for 2 years and eventually had to be extracted because I started getting abscesses. How can qualified dentists not know if a tooth has been cracked for two years when they look at your X-rays every 3-4 months? I would talk to a malpractice attorney.

My family has been going to Dr. Shoker for about 4 years now. First time i visited his office, I was in pain because of wisdom tooth ache. Dr. Shoker got me an appointment quickly with one of his surgeons. Also he provided all prescriptions, did the cleaning. For my wife he has done work on her front teeth and we never had any issues. Her teeth are holding up well.

We have recommended Dr Shoker's services to friends and they've been happy. I must mention that Dr Shoker above all is a good human. He understood our limitations with insurance and provided best alternatives. The other dentist we visited earlier was run like a shipping business. I am about 20 miles from his clinic now but I am not looking for another dentist. Not until I can drive to his office.

In Feb.2014 during my visit to USA from India I suffered acute toothache. One of my family friend Mr. Neraj suggest Shoker Dental. Dr. Shoker is fantastic and very competent person. I strongly recommend Shoker Dental Inc.
