Focus on stopping the bleeding and protecting the injured tooth or area by following the appropriate instructions in this section. Similar to braces, clear aligners use a gradual force to control tooth movement, but without metal wires or brackets. Routine dental checkups are vital to good oral hygiene and are the best way to detect problems at their earliest stages which saves unnecessary discomfort, time, and money. A filling repairs and restores the surface of a tooth that has been damaged by decay, fracture, or wear.
With proper care and good oral hygiene, the life of a tooth crown can range from 5 to 15 years. If a natural tooth-colored porcelain crown is chosen, our CEREC CAD/CAM treatment gives patients a completed permanent crown in just one office visit. Other types of crown require two office visits. Your dentist will recommend the best type of crown for your dental restoration needs based on the chewing placement and structure of the tooth or implant that requires protection. There are three types of crowns.

My insurance plan was not honored and I felt taken advantage of. Paid for X-rays and shouldn't have been charged. Was not allowed my free cleaning because their technician said I need more and that my insurance would not cover it. After talking with my insurance they were wrong in not honoring my plan.

Megan in Financing was very rude, Righteous and talked over me Today, June 10, 2022 at my Visit few weeks ago, I was asked if I would like to see if I qualified for them to finance my dental treatment. I said yes. She the tells me, you qualified and gave me the amount. I specifically said, I'll would like to take home the treatment plan and fees home to discuss with my husband.

Yet within a few days I get a hard inquiry on my Credit, stating hat I had opened a credit card with San Marcos Dental group. I would never do this without speaking to my husband first. So I've called the office and All I get is a recording. I called again and selected make an appt and finally got a person. Who was Very nice and apologetic. Total opposite of MEGAN in Finance who talked down to me, Over me and spoke to me like if I didn't understand what she was saying.

I will not agree with you was all I heard. She kept repeating, I will not agree with you. I have never moved forward without consent. When I asked her, Did you get a signature from me approving opening a credit line?! NO. Her Tone in speaking to a customer was and is uncalled for. I had to match her tone or she would not stop talking over me! $14,000 treatment for my dental care? NOT doing it there. All because of MEGAN.

This is the 1st dental office I have been in where I feel like I'm treated like family. They addressed my needs while being financially sensitive. I will definitely be returning and recommending this office.

I have my first appointment coming up on Monday. and I'm so excited to be going here. This office really cares about the community as well, Dr Barrington chose my case to be his SERVE patient. ( once a year they will bless a patient with extensive dental needs) My teeth are falling apart. and this office is gonna help me get all my teeth fixed so I can eat properly again, smile again, talk in person again, kiss my wife again. the list goes on. Having this issue with my teeth has been causing such shame and embarrassment. Excited to update you all with the progress of my treatment. I highly recommend calling Dr Barrington and scheduling your next cleaning ASAP!

I had the BEST experience here. Dr. Nosti is amazing. He really took the time to show me my x-rays and explain to me in detail what he could do to restore my teeth and gums. I also just had my cleaning by Lei and she did a phenomenal job. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!

Had a exam and cleaning for this first time at this office per my insurance recommendation. I am so glad my insurance assigned me here because this was the best cleaning I have ever had. My cleaning took just over an hour and I am beyond impressed my teeth look not only clean but so much whiter. The dentist was also very nice but I didn't spend that much time with him because I didn't have any cavities. The front office girls were very welcoming and knew all about my coverage.

Having a phobia of the dentist is common and this place knows how to calm me down and make me feel comfortable. I walked in with a toothache they were able to squeeze me into their schedule so I didn't have to go the entire weekend in pain. I had a huge infection unfortunately that I knew about a while ago but let it go because money is tight and I lost my job during the pandemic.

Well it blew up on me again so I couldn't wait any longer Dr. Barrington(I think that's how you spell it) did a procedure to drain the infection and put me on antibiotic. I got to go back next week to see the specialist for a root canal but I am already feeling so much better. Best part is they have financing options I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket and have a year and a half no interest applied plan to pay off my treatment.

I never write reviews because I it has to be extremely bad or over the top great which is why I am reviewing this office. This office has impressed me year after year with not only a team that treats me like family but a doctor who takes the time to review your x-rays with you to ensure you understand what is going on in your mouth. If you are looking for a new dentist Dr. Nosti is by far the best out there.

Recently went in and had my teeth cleaned by Lei the hygienist and I have never had a better teeth cleaning in my life. I have been to many dental offices in my life and never had my teeth cleaned so throughly like this. I will recommend this office to my company as we have been looking for a office for our employee to go to. I also was impressed with the front office as they knew my insurance and benefits better than I did. Im so glad I gave this office a shot.

They are scammers. They charged me up front for a series of cleanings and then never did the work because they kept cancelling the appointments and then I moved far away.

It is the same as other complaints, they charge too much, explain your bills wrong, ,f ront billing lady loses her bananas when confronted. They also charge to Care Card before running bill to insurance. Send your bill to insurance company, they will tell you what you were actually billed for by them. Cleaning shouldn't cost 5000.oo Complaints on here help but all these complaints need to go to BBB so action is taken and a pattern of deciept is brought to consumers attention. Please file with Bbb and dental board as well

I really wish I read the reviews before coming here. This place is a complete scam. They went over a procedure with me and I told them that I would like to get a second opinion and I would just like to get a dental cleaning that day. They charged me $2,400 for a dental cleaning and that was with insurance. No, I did not leave out a decimal. You read that right. $2.4K on a dental cleaning. Keep in mind that they advertise dental cleanings for $59 on their website.

Kept getting misquoted several times and made me think that I was in the wrong, when the first time I was told my procedure would be a certain amount. This time around (brand new year meaning my insurance had not been used) I go in and they tell me the break down the cost for the procedures I needed which sounded about right. The day of one of my procedures I get told something completely different.

There was an extra $1000 added to me procedure. Receptionist had a bit of an attitude. She gave me a copy of my payments and I calmly said "wait I don't think that's right" and with an attitude she says "I can print out your contract if you like?" I went through with the first procedure because of the pain I was in and just couldn't take it. Right before my 2nd procedure I get a call from them telling me there had been a mistake made by one of the other receptionists and that the actual total of my oral surgery wasn't $500 but in fact $800. Which had confirmed my first suspicions about them charging me incorrectly. I cancelled my appointments. I would not recommend to go here honestly.

Terrible place. If you have less than a PPO, they will break your wallet. "Oh we will only charge you the CO-pay and not bill the insurance for extra visits." 290$ is not my copay. If they aren't billing the insurance. there is something wrong. The assistants are trying to get you to get braces when you already had them! The assistants just go along with fear-monger and strong arming you into treatments you DON'T NEED! Went to a different dentist and it has been much more honest. Don't go here. They want your money.

2016 I got braces here, after a few payment arrangements they just stopped seeing me, had to remove braces on my own and still have the glue/cement on my teeth. After attending another orthodontist I was told I should take matters legally with an attorney if they refuse to take the glue off because that is not how I started off in the beginning, prior to getting the braces.

Still waiting on them to pick up my call and get them removed. Do not waste your time/money here it is not a trustworthy facility your teeth are important and they don't consider them so! Be aware of your health with this facility!

They do good work, but the front office is the MOST disorganized that I have ever seen. They make appointments for us that I never made, only to find out about it when they call to "confirm". On the flip side, they have also cancelled appointments we DID have without calling to let us know. Also, over the span of several months and 4 times trying to get an appointment with them, they kept canceling it.4 times in a row this happened!

The final straw was being told my daughters braces were paid off in a final $589 payment.only to be told 4 1/2 months later that we still owe another nearly $400 to pay them off in full. The call came 2 days after paying the braces debt off on my credit card and thinking it was finally over, so you can imagine my frustration. We have been going here for several years and these same issues keep happening on and on and on. When my daughter is free of braces and retainer, we will likely be going elsewhere.

I had bounced around many dental offices in SoCal for a couple of decades. I found that one a few years back and I'm not changing. They take a lot of different insurance plans, they're very friendly and accommodating, they do great work (kudos to the local periodontist) and they are decently priced (if you want cheap, drive 50 miles south). They can work with you and your insurance if needed and contrary to many dental places, they don't pressure you into anything. They give you options, you make the call.
