Missing teeth may be replaced with artificial teeth. The most ideal way is dental implants. These are made of titanium metal and consist of the "root" portion that gets placed in the jawbone, the "stump" part that sticks out of the gums, the crown portion that goes on the stump much like a crown on a tooth.
Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are a number of ways to whiten teeth. Whitening of teeth can be done with in-office treatment or take home kits. Both will remove surface stains from teeth enamel. Much like how you bleach stains from clothes, there is no damage to the enamel.

I went in today for the first time and felt that this dentist simply didnt care to explain my options. She said, I needed to remove 4 teeth and that was that, not taking the time to check what my insurance would cover or not. I asked the doctor twice and received the same answer, first of all I was embarrassed to go into the dentist because due to depression and taking medicine that affected my teeth, I didn't want to be seen by anyone, I tried twice to tell her that, and as she was checking my teeth, she said, its like you haven't been at the dentist for a very long time ( again not the case, and this is why I tried to explain brush my teeth everyday and while depressed perhaps I didn't as much but it's not like I really wanted to pour my heart out to anyone, not that she cared anyway) Her assistant was kind and tried to explain the best she could, but wasn't enough for me to make a decision, so I asked for my x-rays and said I would go for second opinion.

I said to her, so all you can tell me I will have no teeth, she said yeap. I said, this is my face we are talking about, my smile, she made it sound like oh well, it is what it is. I immediately called my insurance and immediately changed dentist for a second opinion. They told me over the phone, all they had to do was to call and ask what my options were and what could be covered.

In fact I was told I could get partial or full dentures at no cost to me. You would think the dentist could have done that much for me. Right at the same time, another patient walked out very upset. Only God knows what happened with him. 2 other clients there saw what happened and said maybe we should go somewhere else. The dentist was of indian descent, I am only mentioning that in case you go there since I never got her name.

There are other dentists there I believe, since it's a dental office group. Maybe it's just her and NOT the clinic over all, I don't know. the rest of the staff was very good.

Friendly, helpful staff. Dr. Lee is awesome. Great sense off humor. I have had too many visits (my neglect) and all were virtually painless. Do not let your fear keep you away from this dentist! :)

You'd never expect top notch service and skills in a small sleepy town, but these guys are simply awesome! Been going there for my teeth for over 10 years until my family moved to Claremont. I'll probably still visit and say hello! Clean office, great people.

Best dentist EVER! I moved an hour away and continue to go to this dentist. I love the staff. Everyone is professional and the office staff genuinely care about their clients needs and make the dental experience as comfortable as possible for clients. I have serious anxiety towards the dentist and the staff at this office have been so patient and caring towards me everytime.

Unfortunately for me my teeth suck and I have had a lot of dental work done here. :-( I will follow them wherever they go. My entire family goes here. Thank you Dr. Ngow for putting up with me and my anxiety. Thank you to all the staff and for all that you do for me. Thanks to this dental group I can now tolerate having my teeth worked on because I know I am in good hands.

I refuse to go anywhere else. No matter what! Highly recommend them for any dental needs. Thank you to everyone. You are all such a blessing to me. Thank you. You are all awesome. :) -Christina

I love this place! The staff is extremely nice and unlike other dentist facilities around this area it doesn't take long at all till your appointment starts! I never feel nervous having a checkup when i'm here.

I had two fillings replaced, both on the right side with one on top and one on bottom. Dr. Lee did both of them the same day. A week later I was back in the office because of very bad pain associated with the top filling. The top filling wasn't shaved down adequately enough to fit with my bottom teeth, so it caused extreme pain when chewing. Dr. Lee kindly shaved it down free of charge, but months later there was still pain, although not as much as previously.

The bottom filling was sensitive to temperature and had pressure pain as well when chewing harder foods. I came to Dr. Lee with no pain whatsoever, but ended up with pain every time I bit down into anything, soft or hard. After realizing that Dr. Lee was doing more harm than good, I went to another dentist in Hemet, who had to replace both fillings.

The staff and Dr. Lee are all very kind and act professional, but I refuse to go back as the work done was sub-par at best. Not only did I pay Dr. Lee to do a very low quality job, but I had to pay another dentist to completely replace the fillings that Dr. Lee botched. I would never recommend anyone to Dr. Lee.

I apologize for not being able to respond on a personal level due to privacy/HIPPA laws. I was told we are only allowed to make generalized policy statements. I am so sorry to hear when a patient felt neglected in any way and I take full responsibility. 16 years of helping wonderful patients, I've had my share of thank you's. It's an amazing feeling when you are appreciated.

But on the rare occasion that someone is unhappy, I take it to heart and I believe everything is a learning experience, a chance to make things better. As an example, let's take the example of sensitivity after white/composite fillings. This does happen from time to time. But before we get started, if we google "composite post op sensitivity, " we find that sensitivity after white fillings can be found in 5-26% cases.

And that's under ideal situations. Our track record is much lower than this figure, BUT, post op sensitivity after white fillings is something that has plagued our profession ever since composite has been invented (even with 5th/6th generation bonding agents). You would find it ironically amusing if you knew how many patients have come to us for help for sensitivity after composite fillings done at other offices.

We fix it, and charge the patient because the filling wasn't originally done at our office. No charge if it was done at our office. The steps we take are the same in all post op sensitivity cases. Check the bite and adjust if necessary. This takes care of most cases and the issue resolves over time. If sensitivity continues, redo the filling and line the tooth with a desensitizing agent.

This does the trick 99% of the time. The question then becomes, why not place desensitizing agent on ALL the fillings. The reasons are that 1) it is not required most of the time 2) we don't want to charge patients on a step that is usually not needed 3) the chemical composition is not unlike the formaldehyde used in dead frogs in high school biology class, and 4) by using a 3rd party material, we are not following manufacture guidelines when it comes to bonding. CHANGES we plan to make: From here on out, I plan to have our staff follow up (via courtesy phone call) on anyone who may have any sort of discomfort, fillings or otherwise. This will be to alleviate any misunderstandings, and to reassure patients they can count on us. Dr. Lee
