Our caring dental team provides excellent dental care to patients of all ages. Our office is designed to be a warm and comfortable environment, whether you are 2 or 92. We have an open bay area where children get their teeth cleaned together and private rooms for adults. We also have a general dentist for the adults and pediatric dentists for the children all together so you can come in together as a family.Dr. Ann K. Calamel is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After receiving her dental degree from the University of Buffalo, she completed her residency in general dentistry at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo.

At Rochester Family Dental we all work together to make your trip to the dentist as enjoyable as possible. Many people have anxiety when it comes to visiting the dental office. Your comfort is important to us. Everyone should have a professional dental cleaning at least every six months. It is important to have the plaque and calculus (tartar) removed in order to keep the gums healthy. We will do a thorough dental exam including oral cancer screening, caries detection, occlusal evaluation, and any necessary radiographs (X-rays).
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentists recommends the first dental visit should occur within six months after the baby's first tooth appears but no later than the child's first birthday. At Rochester Family Dental your child's first visit will review how to clean your child's teeth, discuss diet and fluoride needs as well as answer any questions.
We are happy to submit your insurance claims for you. Any portion that insurance will not cover is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. For your convenience we also work with Care Credit to offer no interest and low interest payment plans.

Beautiful people with beautiful attitudes and conversations. Anne and her team never makes you feel like only a patient but a welcomed friend. Which makes the dental experience pleasant and less painful. I truly recommend you having a peaceful experience with Anne and her team of professional team members that care about your well being. Dr. Anne and all the hygienists I've ever seen there are great. I'm guilty of not being the best at taking care of my oral health for years and also absolutely hated going to the dentist. I would look down and find myself clutching the the arm rest of the chair the entire visit from nervousness. And every time I would go to my previous dentist in the past they were condescending to me about not coming in regularly, but their attitude played a big part in that, as well as the cost. Dr. Anne just shrugged and said, "Well, that doesn't matter now, what matters is you're here now and we're going to take great care of you", and they certainly have.
She was recommended to me by a coworker and I highly recommend her to anyone, children as well. She's very sweet and and wonderful at what she does. Now I feel perfectly calm, comfortable and at ease no matter what when I go in. I'm no longer terrified of going to the dentist, thank guys!

Very pleasant place to have your dental work done. Dr. Ann and her staff are always kind, polite, and courteous. Even a little humor in there when I visit. Never have a problem getting an appointment even when I reschedule at the last minute. Very clean facilities and kid friendly. Have been a smiling happy customer over the past 5 years. My teeth appreciate it.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I never have to wait and always leave knowing the status of my mouth, as well as recommendations to keep it healthy. They are gentle while cleaning (and all the necessary poking and prodding) and conscious of any sensitivities. I continue to recommend them to anyone who asks!

I really couldn't find a more patient, friendly dentist if I tried. They truly care about the families that they work with. It wasn't about the business; all of their focus was on truly making sure the kids health came first. That I appreciate and respect. It's also hard to find doctor's that good with working with children with high anxiety and fears of the appts.

I have lived all over the country and been to many dentists, and this is by far, the best dentist office I have ever been to. Dr. Ann's ability to make an patient feel comfortable is amazing. I am someone who has been terrified of the dentist for poor treatment and lack of empathy. Dr. Ann's caring spirit and empathy is what makes me look forward to going to the dentist every. single. time.

We see Dr. Calamel and our kids see Dr. Lisa. The environment is welcoming and comfortable. The dentists and hygienists are great! I love that the whole family can get cleanings in one place. When my 4 year old son had to get a filling they did everything to make it less scary. I do wish they had more hours but if you schedule your cleanings far in advance it is no problem.
