If you can start falling asleep during a root canal, you know you're in good hands! Everyone at this office is really sweet and helpful. I felt no pain at all during the procedure, and was so relaxed I actually started dozing off. For anyone who feels nervous about getting oral surgery of any kind, I can't recommend Dr. McGurkin-Smith highly enough!

I have unfortunately had to have 4 root canals done in the past 3 years, however I can honestly say that it has been a wonderful experience to come to Dr. McGurkin-Smith. Every single time it has been a very pleasant experience. The staff is super friendly and professional. My first root canal here was in 2018 and all of them have been fantastic and I've never had a problem with any of the teeth after seeing Dr. McGurkin-Smith.

She is excellent at what she does. She is, to my knowledge, the only endodontist in town that has the special 3D X-ray machine that was able to find the broken drill tip in my canal that another doctor left and did not tell me about and led to a terrible infection. I will never go to another endodontist. Dr. McGurkin-Smith is the only endodontist that I trust. She is hands down the absolute best! Thank you so much!

I was having a major panic attack to have a root canal. The day of my procedure, they gave me a warm blanket, noise canceling headphones, and music to listen to. All of the staff was caring, calming, and super nice. The doctor was so knowledgeable and explained everything to me. They all went above and beyond to make things go perfect!

I was extremely satisfied with Dr. McGurkins work! Very friendly staff and great work. I had a tooth that had blackened due to trauma and she fixed me right up! Dr. Smith and her team are amazing. They are professional and efficient. It is like watching a well choreographed dance. My appreciation is deep because I had another Endodontist tell me he had to pull the tooth and could not fix it. However, Dr. Smith explained what she would do and the cost and she saved my tooth. That was 2 years ago and all is great.

She has taken away severe pain on 3 other molars that needed root canals. She fixed another that was 20 year old work. She is out of network for my insurance but worth every penny I pay personally. Her assistants are all excellent and her office staff is top notch. If you want the best in Endo care call her office. You will be glad you did.

Very pleasant experience (as pleasant as root canals can get). They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. They were extremely welcoming and caring. Crystal is so sweet and you can tell she really cares about her patients. I 1000 percent recommend to everyone, especially if you have dental anxiety!.

This is my second root canal that I've had Dr. McGurkin-Smith perform. Both experiences were beyond expectations. I had heard how horrible a root canal was. While not something I want to go through every afternoon, it was not a big deal. She and her assistant Crystal were WONERFUL! Honestly, except for the "numbing" it was a walk in the park. If you need a root canal, this is the practice to pick!

I have had 3 root canals done, two which were under a bridge. My regular dentist was out of her practice for Maternity leave, and I was referred to Dr. Mcgurkin-Smith's practice. As someone who has had a lot of dental work, I must say that Dr. Mcgurkin-Smith is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. I find it difficult to trust other dentists than my regular dentist, but if I ever, EVER need another procedure done, I do not want to be referred anywhere else!

I was so nervous that I would have to get another bridge but she was extremely technical with my surgeries. She is amazing and because of her I am able to eat on both sides of my mouth without sensitivity! I am forever grateful to her and her assistants for restoring my teeth! Who really wants to have a root canal done especially with the coronavirus pandemic? Well, with a terrible toothache it seemed I had no choice. The office staff were professional and friendly from the temperature check and health questions at my car until I was done with the treatment. They used all recommended PPE and had HEPA filters in the treatment room.

I found the whole process quite interesting since I am a retired RN. Thank goodness for Dr. Smith, her technology, and nitrous oxide! The entire experience was exceptional. Thank you Dr Smith and your entire team.
