The field of orthodontics is somewhat of a family business. Both my father and my grandfather were orthodontists, and I joined them in the health field first by becoming a dentist, and then narrowing my field to orthodontics. It is such a privilege to be part of a day someone remembers forever when the braces come off.
Most people who want their teeth straightened choose metal braces. These are made using high-grade stainless steel. The ones applied today are less noticeable, easier to tolerate and better looking than those in years past. Ceramic braces are less noticeable than the modern metal braces since they are translucent in color, being made of clear material.
The Invisalign System involves having a series of clear aligners made to fit over the patient's teeth that gradually get adjusted to move the teeth into perfect alignment. A computer program generating a simulation determines the fit. Adult patients that have particular orthodontic bite issues can benefit from this system.
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is the joint responsible for allowing your jaw to move smoothly and connects your lower jaw to the temporal bone of your skull. At Columbia Orthodontics, PC, we are pleased to offer multiple treatments for our patients who may have damaged their TMJ or who are experiencing pain in their jaw or facial muscles.

Dr. Croft and his staff are very helpful and friendly. Having been my second round with braces (wear your retainers!) I knew what to expect but they were very patient each time I went in for a checkup and adjustment. I highly recommend him if you are looking for an orthodontist. My son also goes in every 6 months to check in on his dental growth progress and Dr. Croft can help identify potential issues before braces even go on. I can't say enough good things about this office!

For over the past 10 years, my family has experienced superb professionalism, caring, understanding and duty to detail at Columbia Orthodontics under the safe guard of Dr. Croft. All my four children received orthodontics care from a staff that truly understands their patients. The staff's expertise was comforting to me and my children. They encouraged questions and constantly had an answer to our questions.

Columbia orthodontics has been an amazing experience! As an adult who needed braces I was nervous to start the process. However, Dr. Croft and his team took good care of me. They reviewed all of the options and I got my braces off six month earlier than we thought! I am so happy with my brand new smile!

Dr Croft. Hmmmmmm. What can I say other then he is AMAZING. I know 2 neighbor boys who went to him and they said he was awesome so I took my pride and joy (my daughter). From day one I knew this guy was ok. He always made my girl feel comfortable and his staff is just as amazing as he is. Thank you for all the help and support with my little girls teeth.

My son had a great experience going here! Dr. Croft and his staff are phenomenal! They are very flexible with their scheduling and made it easy to schedule my sons dental appointments as well. He also really enjoyed the nickel reward system. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing braces!

Dr. Croft and staff are amazing. I had 3 teenagers in braces at the same time (one left in braces). The office was always able to schedule my children's appts at the same time. They got in and out with no long waits. Dr Croft explained the treatment plan well, and so far everything has been right on schedule. Columbia Orthodontics has great incentives for kids, and great plans for parents on what insurance doesn't cover.
Our family is so glad we chose Dr Croft; my children won't stop smiling and that's great thanks to him and his team. My last of the 3, just had his braces removed today! His smile is perfect and we couldn't be more thankful for the amazing treatment Dr. Croft and team provided. I will always refer Columbia Orthodontics PC, to everyone I know. I got my braces on and off here and I had a really good experience. The staff was really nice and Dr. Croft helped straighten my crooked teeth. I enjoyed the Nickle system they have because it drive me to brush my teeth and floss so I could get more tokens the next time I went in for an appointment. I would highly recommend getting braces here and/or retainers here!
