Dr. Raber was first exposed to Orthodontics as a patient and remembers the increase in confidence he gained from a new smile. Dr. Raber loves being able to provide the same great experience to his patients while creating a fun and entertaining environment in the process. While originally from Nappanee, IN, Dr. Raber now calls Rigsbee Hall Orthodontics home.

Rigsbee Hall Orthodontics has a very friendly, knowledgeable staff. The environment is welcoming and engaging for both parents and kids. The front desk was helpful and pleasant when checking us in. The technicians and doctors took their time with us. They made sure my children were happy and comfortable and answered all of our questions. We have a well understood game plan for my children's orthodontic futures. I am very happy with this practice.

We we had an amazing experience at Rigsbee Hall Orthodontics! From making the appt, initial introduction to the staff, to the professionalism, we were very pleased with the services we received. Also, there was absolutely zero pressure to go forward with any work. 10/10 highly recommend Dr. Rigsbee!

The best dental care I have ever experienced! The front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. I've been going to them for invisalign and I couldn't be happier with the results, would highly recommend to anyone!

This was my first visit to Rigsbee Orthodontics and I am happy to say, I will be coming back as a patient. I worked with Karina who was so warm and friendly. I also met Dr. Raber who made me feel comfortable and seemed very knowledgeable. Karina also worked with me financially in regards to setting up my treatment which I greatly appreciated. This was such an easy pain free process! I'm excited to start my treatment with Rigsbee Orthodontics and I feel like I will be well taken care of.

I would not recommend Rigsbee Orthodontics! We went for a consultation a few years back for my son. After figuring things out, we were ready to schedule the appointment to have braces put on, when my husband lost his job due to a company buyout. We put the braces on hold until a new job was found and we were certain he was there for awhile. Fast forward a couple years and we went back to Rigsbee for another consultation.
Once we were in the room, Dr Rigsbee comes in, looks over my son's info and sees that we were in a few years back. The first thing out of his mouth was, "well there's work to be done". He then laughed, looked at me and said, "you were here a few years back. Can I ask why you waited so long to have braces put on his teeth"? His assistant also started laughing and said, "yes I was wondering that too".
I was so taken back and embarrassed! I had my son sitting there who was so insecure about his teeth and that was the last thing he needed to hear. Who even says that? You have no idea peoples situations! I explained our situation as to why we waited. His assistant responded with, "we have payment plans". Yes I realized that, but that's kind of hard to do when it's a big investment and your husband is without a job!
I truly wanted to turn to them and say, "great, were you going to pay for them or give me a huge discount"? Dr Rigsbee also suggested my son do Invisalign, especially at his age. He was 17 at the time. We chatted about the process and the investment that goes into having them. I told him that I would take the paperwork home, chat with my husband and get back to them, which at this time his assistant said "why don't you go ahead and schedule an appointment.
You can cancel if it doesn't work out". We left the building, I called my husband and told him all about the conversation we had. Needless to say Rigsbee Ortho was out of the picture real quick. Went for a cleaning at our dentist. He asked how the appointment went. I told him all about it and what Dr R had suggested for my son. Our dentist immediately responded with, "Invisalign is not something he should be doing with the way his teeth are.
Why would he suggest that". Long story short, he referred us to Carmel Ortho, who I knew we should have gone to in the first place and Dr Miller and staff got us right in, suggested we do clear ceramic since my son was worried about having braces and the next day had them put on. So happy and thankful we didn't go with Rigsbee. I'm sure we would have still been paying for things to be done with my son's teeth.

The staff at Rigsbee as a whole is second to none. If this was to be a review of everyone outside of Chip, it would read 5 stars and nothing but praises. However, I must take into account all involved parties. I was scheduled for 18 months with braces, but they were taken off a couple of months early. Nothing too drastic. And I was a fairly religious wearer of the bands.
Not to mention, I followed all braces recommendations and preventative maintenance. I was a parent getting adult braces. The end result wasn't quite what I had envisioned. Dr. Hall grinded a front tooth down to fit the profile better. But I saw an uneven quirk, and I requested to have the work finished. I wanted the multi thousand dollar investment brought to my standards, but that was denied.
I was told to make an appointment. Dr. Rigsbee then said to put a cap on the opposite front tooth if I was interested in any further work, as he didn't recommend anymore grinding. Admittedly, my teeth looked straight and aligned from the pics and angles that were used. But my front-facing smirk wasn't quite what I wanted. I was refused any further work (Invisalign, wearing braces again, etc.) Yet I was fully encouraged to pay the amount due for subpar work.
I explained my first financial fallout that saw my funds limited. The accounts receivable coordinator was forwarded my message explaining the holdup. I was making payments on the regular, although less than before, while I looked for work. When I was out of work again, the holiday was coming up and I spaced reaching out to anyone at the office. Shortly thereafter I was notified that my account was sent to collections, and I've been further inconvenienced. Maybe try your luck at Dr. Clark or some other alternative if required to get orthodontic work completed in town.

My 8 year old daughter is a patient of Dr. Rigsbee. We have been going to him approximately 7 months. I love this office and feel totally comfortable with her care. He made sure to explain everything to me from the beginning and his office staff is great too. The office is clean, the appointments are on time. I know I made the right decision in choosing Dr. Rigsbee to help with her smile.
