Dr. Prose attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.He then moved to Chicago to pursue his dental training at Northwestern University Dental School, graduating in 1985. He continued his education at Northwestern University School of Graduate Dentistry to specialize in orthodontics, receiving his Masters Degree in 1987.

The Damon System is an innovative teeth-straightening system that offers the same benefits as traditional braces but with increased comfort and efficiency. Damon braces are tieless and therefore require fewer adjustments than their traditional counterparts. The Damon System allows for patients to correct their smiles without extractions or rapid expanders and in a shorter period than traditional braces.
During your initial visit, Dr. Prose will focus on getting to know you, he'll ask you some questions to understand your dental goals and areas of concern. You are encouraged to ask questions even if they don't seem to be directly connected to tooth alignment. For example, questions regarding tooth size and shape, gums, jaws, tooth color, recontouring, tooth makeover, etc.
The total cost of your orthodontic treatment will depend on a set of variables determined by the details of your treatment plan. Our team will go over the cost of the treatment you and Dr. Prose decided was the best course of action. The team will also discuss payment plan options in detail to find the best solution to fit your budget.

Hands down the best Orthodontist experience I have ever had. This was for my 9 year old. I myself had braces as a child and it was miserable experience. I know orthodontics have come a long way since then, however Dr. Prose and his staff were amazing and welcoming. Don't believe me? Make that appointment and be ready to be impressed. Thank you.

Loving my new smile and all of the Prose Orthodontics team. From the very start, you are made to feel like family and they would go the extra mile for you, and they do. Dr. Prose, his office team, and assistants did a great job staying in touch during the COVID shutdown, made sure I was able to keep up with my aligners and continued to follow my progress through virtual visits.
Once I moved, they negotiated with a local practitioner to take scans and accommodated both my son an myself for our visits when we could visit. I can share enough of the amazing treatment my whole family received from, Dr. Prose, Melanie, Linda, Pauline and everyone at the St Charles office.

I want to start out by saying how friendly the staff was from the very first phone call! As a person in a similar industry, customer service is one of those things I pay close attention to. Once I got to the office I was impressed with how efficiently they run their office! Everyone their had a specific responsibility and it was executed to perfection in my opinion!
Everything was explained to me in detail, and I knew exactly what was needed before I walked out the door! I would absolutely recommend that if you or a family member need orthodontic treatment, Dr. Prose and his team are who you need to go to!

So happy we found Prose Orthodontics after we moved to St. Charles. Not only is it convenient, the employees are the Best! Our oldest daughter just finished Invisalign, and her smile is gorgeous. Our other daughter just started her journey with braces, and they've made us so confident in their care. Dr. Prose and Pauline are so thorough with information about treatment. With two more kids that will need braces, I'm glad this is where they'll get their smiles!

Dr. Prose is such a great orthodontist! Everyone their are so nice and friendly they are so gentle and professional. I recently have been going to Dr.prose office and I was a little nervous but then I found out how professional they are and how friendly an kind they are. So I definitely recommend them and if your nervous that's fine everyone has gotten nervous before but it will be fine because Dr. Prose orthodontist has your back.

Dr. Prose came very highly recommended from recent and past patients of his. This Doctor has a very reputable reputation so I knew I was in good hands with all the good reviews he has. The office is clean, well run and his staff were all friendly. My son received his braces today and all went very well. They rewards program to keep your teeth clean really sparked my sons Interest.
My son had lunch and brushed his teeth after so he doesn't not look like the one picture of of the gooey braces he was shown. Before picking Dr. Prose for treatment I did have 5 other consultations. I have seen some dirty and run down offices, this office is very nice on the inside. Glad I made my choice with Dr. Prose.

Prose Orthodontics is great! From our very first consult we were greeted with smiling faces and kind voices. The staff at this office are exceptional and so is the doctor. They take time to ask at every visit if there are any questions, they explain where the patient is in the treatment cycle and what to expect between this visit and the next. The front desk treatment coordinators do their best to work with you to make sure that appointments can be accommodating for both sides and did I mention how exceptional the staff are! We are happy that we were referred by friends to Dr. Prose.

My family has been going to Dr Prose for several years now. I love coming to the office. The staff is friendly and courteous. I have never have a problem scheduling appointments. Dr Prose and his staff are very good at explaining the procedures to my children so they are comfortable with their treatments. I highly recommend this office.

These guys are amazing. I got braces as an adult and every other orthodontist was giving me options like 4 years with braces and several teeth pulled. Dr. Prose got my braces on and off in less than 2 years without pulling any teeth. That was 6 years ago. Last night my permanent retainer chipped ( the glue that holds it to my teeth) I called Dr. Prose's office this morning and was immediately scheduled for a same-day appointment. They are always friendly and very careful when they work, the office is very clean, and their work is awesome. Very highly recommended.
