We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options. This important 30-minute visit will give us insight into your orthodontic needs. We know your time is valuable, so to expedite treatment, we may also reserve time following the exam for diagnostic records. The records include X-rays, photos and impressions for diagnostic models and are necessary for developing the appropriate treatment plan.

Very very disappointed with post treatment for phase one braces.very careless attitude. I feel like I wasted my money and time. They were not interested in maintaining the treatment we received.the retainer I was given was a cheap and flimsy piece of throw away after one use type of plastic, and after a while became worn and broken, not to mention a breeding ground for bacteria.
I was advised that I didn't need to get a new one even though l requested a new one twice. This retainer could not possibly be meant to hold any work that was done and paid for on my children's teeth. But I believe that was the whole point so we would have no choice but to pay more money to get phase two braces. They have the capability to maintain phase one treatment but choose not to.
For reasons I need not mention. I was initially happy with porter orthodontics but after this I will never recommend a parent getting phase one braces for their children from porter orthodontics after what my children and I went through with this office. Very very dissatisfied and disgusted with Porter Orthodontics. it's a shame because there are some really nice and respectable people that work there and they can only do what they are told.

What can I say! Dr. Porter had been so patient with me! He asks for my input on cosmetic decisions! As I talk to different friends about their different orthodontics experience, I have realized how thankful I should be for my Orthodontist! Dr. Porter is the BOMB.com! The front desk ladies Krista and Amy are absolutely AMAZING and very patient especially when attempting to accommodate scheduling. The staff are all professional and I am so glad my dentist referred me to Dr. Porter. He is so knowledgeable and the very best Baton Rouge has to offer.

We love Dr. Porter and his staff. They are always SO friendly and know my child by name. But it is not just my child - they greet all patients by name and with a smile. My daughter never complains about going to the office. The best is she is intrigued by the way her teeth are moving and the science behind it. She knows the exact routine from signing in when we arrive to collecting her bucks!
The office is peaceful allowing me to get some work done while she is back. They are always on time - which is very appreciated. I would recommend Dr. Porter to any and all. and so would my daughter!

Glad I listened to all the reviews and picked this office! Dr. Porter and his staff truly make you feel comfortable and treats you with respect no matter who you are. Dr. Porter goes into such detail about your braces and the plan he has for them that there's no confusion or questions needed to be ask at the end of the visit. I'd have hesitation whatsoever about recommending this orthodontist to anyone I know!
