Dr. Daynes utilizes a revolutionary system of braces in our office called Tip Edge Orthodontics. The benefits of this system include that we can use less force in moving teeth which means less discomfort for the patient, and we enjoy shorter overall treatment times. Most of our patients wear braces for only 6 to 22 months. Our fees are often more affordable than traditional Orthodontists. We also offer a reduced "tune-up" fee for patients who wore braces in the past, but have experienced some relapse.
Dr. Daynes is committed to providing your child with the latest, most advanced childrens dentistry in a warm and caring atmosphere. Pediatric patients account for a large percentage of our practice, we love them! Here is a little patient of ours who had fallen and broken his front teeth on the monkey bars at school, we were able to put his teeth back together with some composite bonding so that he wasn't able to tell the difference! We pride ourselves in pampering kids when they come to the office.
Calming down toothaches is a big part of our practice, we help a lot of people out of pain. Sometimes the pulp inside your tooth becomes inflamed or infected. This can be caused by deep decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, a crack or chip in the tooth, or a blow to the tooth. Signs to look for include pain, prolonged sensitivity to heat or cold, discoloration of the tooth, and swelling and tenderness in the nearby gums. But sometimes, there are no symptoms. Dr Daynes removes the inflamed or infected pulp, carefully cleans and shapes the inside of the tooth, then fills and seals the space.

Our office has found great success with anxious patients with the use of Nitrous Oxide. MANY of our patients, young and old, have found their dental experience to be much more enjoyable with the use of 'Happy Gas'. Sometimes we will use a sedative pill in conjunction with this for the highly anxious patient but most people are completely relaxed with Nitrous/oxygen only. For this option our patient is awake but very relaxed. A: You will smell a sweet, pleasant aroma and experience a sense of well-being and relaxation.
When carbamide peroxide, the active whitening agent, contacts water, hydrogen peroxide is released which whitens the teeth. Bleaching does not soften, demineralize or weaken the teeth. There is some evidence that over-the-counter bleaching products do whiten teeth, however, many of the products are too abrasive and can damage the teeth with extended use or misuse. Supervision by your dentist is always the safest and most effective way to whiten your teeth. Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin shells of ceramic material which are bonded to the front of the teeth.
