We absolutely love this dental office! All the dentists and hygienists are amazing. They are all so good with nervous kids and creating fun conversation. Also very knowledgeable and explain everything well regarding what's going on in the mouth. We are so glad to have found them early on!

When I called to schedule an appointment was told insurance was good to go. My child had a check up done and I get billed. Called to ask why and suddenly, my insurance was "out of network". Had I known that before when they "checked" my insurance I wouldn't have moved forward with the services. Something that should have been mentioned prior to services being done.

My daughter is 6 and has always feared going to the dentist. Yesterday was her 1st time at South Bay Pediatric and it was amazing. The whole staff was exceptional and quickly turned her tears into a smile. She loved every minute and was actually sad that she has to wait 6 months for her next visit. I cannot thank everyone one there enough. Greatest Dentist and staff!

Amazing dentist and staff. Not only took their time to be informative and playful with the kids but had great patience for my boys when they wanted to chat. They were respectful, fun, and even though we never felt rushed we were out the door in record time. We have been to some of the greatest pediatric dentist offices and finding a new one after moving was a bit nerve racking. So thrilled to have found this gem!

I had a great experience at this dentistry. Dr. Nick was very informative and actually took the time to talk to me and made my daughter feel comfortable. It was my daughters first time as a toddler so I was nervous. The nurses were so nice with her & made her feel comfortable during the process of flossing and checking all her teeth. Overall, I highly recommend this place :

As always Dr Nick and his staff were welcoming, kind, and provided top-notch service- going the extra mile to make the experience easy while being very thorough. I would and do recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist. Thanks for everything Dr Nick.

They charged almost $500 for our only one visit (X-ray and whatever that consultation that cost us $300 total) Of course my insurance did not pay, and they send my account to collections right away Stay away- they care about $$

This is truly the best pediatric dentist office! It starts right when you get in the door the staff is so warm and welcoming and truly gives you the red carpet experience. They are patient and kind and make you feel so comfortable. The experience we had with Dr. Nick was beyond amazing! I have a special needs child and it has been extremely hard to get him to go to the dentist.

The patience and kindness and the way Dr. Nick took the time to explain everything to my son put him at ease and made it so he trusted him enough to clean his teeth. They truly care about the patients in this office and it shows. I wouldn't HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone with children they are AMAZING and I'm so grateful to have found this office.

We have been coming here for about 3 years with our 3 kids. They are excellent. We originally started out here because our then 3 year old needed to get cavities fixed but he was terrified of dentists and wouldn't let anyone touch his mouth. They were very kind to him despite epic meltdowns in the office and we ended up having to put him under anesthesia to fix the cavities. because of how gentle they have been with all his other appointments he is now able to sit still and get a full teeth cleaning and xrays without being scared (he's now 6). They were sooooo good about keeping things happy for him so he wouldn't develop a dentist phobia and it has really paid off. I highly recommend them.

I cannot speak highly enough of this dentistry group! We had to switch dentists due to insurance, but are now back. Both my kids saw Dr. Grant yesterday and I was so impressed with the level of professionalism that the dentist, dental assistants, and office staff showed. The staff were prepared with a blow up fish toy "prize" for each child, engaged with them in conversation, and made both my children feel at ease. Dr.

Grant took his time to discuss any concerns I had with my children's teeth, and did not rush his exam. The dental assistant, Alison, spoke to my daughter honestly about which teeth she needed to brush better. The dentist can oftentimes be an unpleasant experience, but my children didn't seem to mind it because the staff was so kind, funny and engaging with them the whole time. If you're looking for a pediatric dentist, go no further!

Buyer Beware. This dentists does not use amalgam (silver filling). I learned a painful lessons that cost me $$. This dental practice uses resin composite filling only. $90 (amalgam) vs $281 (resin composite). Luckily for me, my two kids only had 1 cavity otherwise it could have been brutal. It would be nice if there was some warning or disclosure by the dental office that most standard insurance will not cover anything except cleaning.

If I would have know this bit of information, I would have gone to a different dentist. Hopefully this warning saves some innocent people a lot of money $$. This kind of dental practices are what gives dental offices in general bad reputation.

It's been more than a couple of years now and I can speak even more highly about this dentist! My daughter started here at 1.5-2 years old. She was very scared. Dr Nick, Dr Quinn and all of their technicians operate under the same goal that children should always have a good, positive experience at the dentist so they have good associations with it when it was time for cleaning.

Her first time on the seat, she didn't let them do much. Maybe count her teeth? They never pushed anything and always built rapport with her as best as they can. Of course, the magical toy box also helped. Slowly over the years, she's let them complete more of the process. She's 5 now and can do a full cleaning and check up without any anxiety.

During her last cleaning she was so comfortable, she was done and remained laying in her seat just chatting with the technician. They are so good with kids here. They understand. Staff is always so friendly and high energy. They greet everyone like family. I know they definitely review files to know where a child is with dental comfort. For COVID related stuff: the staff is in full PPE gear.

The lobby and play den are closed. You wait in your car and they will text you when they are ready for you. They ask you to fill out a health form before entering. They take your temp and hand sanitize upon entering. Definitely working at less capacity to allow spacing between the cleaning chairs. Only one adult with child. Masks required and is only removed once they start working on teeth.

Instead of digging in the toy box, they have bags with toothbrush, floss and toy ready for after cleaning. I hesitated bringing her in during COVID but felt very safe, and they are taking all precautions to keep you and your child safe too.

Absolutely love this office! Every employee is unbelievably kind and caring with my children during their appointments. They take time to talk with them, make sure they're comfortable and explain what's going on. My son struggled with X-rays when he was younger and they were so patient with him. My kids seriously look forward to their dental appointments! We've met with each dentist as well, and all wonderful. Highly recommend.

It's been a few years since my kids went here but a couple incidents keep bugging me. It started out fine enough. On one visits though my 4 year old son was having difficulty with the cleaning, instead of calming him down, he was yelled at. On another visit Dr. Nick commented on a sweater my daughter was wearing, it was the Lacoste brand, he asked if it was real? Pretty unprofessional if you ask me.

My kids (3) have been going to South Bay Pediatrics for about 8 years and they love going to their check ups. They have also gotten their sealants recently with no issues. This past visit, they asked me when walking back to the car when they can come back. So far, all 3 kids and have no cavities. ALL of the staff and I mean every single one of them continuously smile and talk to the kids and are so friendly.

They are also catering to the kids when they might be afraid. My youngest son was scared of the water tool and the dentist let him play with it like a squirt gun for a few minutes so he knew it was just water and wouldn't hurt. He thought it was pretty funny. Thank you Southbay Pediatrics!

We first came here when my toddler son chipped his tooth have been bringing him here ever since for cleanings. We normally see Dr. Nick who is great, but this last visit we saw Dr. Quinn who was absolutely amazing! My three year old is nervous every time we go but Dr. Quinn was so sweet and calming to my son. He's a great addition to the office.

It doesn't hurt that he resembles my son's favorite kid's entertainer BLIPPI! Sooo ya. pretty much my boy thinks his dentist is Dr. Blippi! The hygienests are all amazing and somehow get my son to sit there calmly and let them clean his teeth with no crying! He loves picking out his new toothbrush and picking a toy from the treasure box at the end of his cleaning. Oh one more thing, my son looks forward to his favorite tree in the parking lot afterwards. All in all its a positive experience for him!

I was recommended this place from a close friend, This was my little guys first dental appointment and I was super nervous for my kid because not all "pediatrics" are kid friendly. With that being said let me just say every single person there is absolutely kid friendly. We had a great first visit and now my little guy can't wait to go back. Great place definitely will recommend to others.

I've been on a hunt to find a dentist for my 3 year old who's terrified of the dentist. From the minute I called, coral assisted me with all the questions I had and already made me feel comfortable with my visit. When we got there Philip assisted us, and really gained my daughters trust, and made her feel more comfortable even though she cried a little, she was able to get through the appointment and was all smiles afterwards Dr. Quinn was very attentive and so good with her, was very thorough in his work and answered all our questions. Also, Dr. Nick came in and introduced himself. I am very amazed by the amazing service we received especially since it took us a while and did a lot of research. I highly recommend this place for your kids!

This place has always been a favorite of mine. To tell you that I don't even live close. We drive about 80 miles to come to this place. Dr. Nick has always taken great care of both of my kids. And it's not just him, Dr. Enriquez and the new dentist are also great and thorough with what work needs to be done. Their waiting room is very nice and pleasant.

They have plenty of magazines for you to look over while you wait. There is also a small play room for the kids to enjoy while they wait to be called in. Overall, this dentist office has great staffing. From the front desk ladies who always have a smile and help you out with any questions, to the dental assistants and hygienist and the dentists themselves. I will definitely keep bringing my kids to South Bay Pediatric Dentistry

My daughter has had two check ups and cleanings here now. The first time she was barely two and she did not let them do the full cleaning. Just a toothbrush and the dentist counted her teeth. Which was fine. They were not pushing it and I was certainly not. Then we came back just last week for another check up and cleaning. This time my daughter was 3 and understands a lot more.

She let them brush her teeth, polish her teeth, use the scraping tool to scrape her teeth, and count her teeth - all done by the hygienists. They were very sweet and knew how to make my daughter feel comfortable. They were great. The actual dentist, I think it was Dr. Frank, he was good too. He looked at her teeth and counted them and checked her tongue.

His portion of the check up was much shorter. Also he asked her if she knew where her ears and nose were. I was like "um, she's 3 years old, even my 15 month old knows that, lol." I don't know if he actually knows a lot about children and child development or he was trying to be funny maybe? I don't know. He ignored my comment - fair enough.

But I think a pediatric dentist should know a little bit about child development so that they can relate to the kids better. The hygienists had that down pat. Also he said something in dental terms about an over-jet and over-bite or something with some percentages thrown in there. He never explained it and it seemed like he was just posturing and I did not get a chance to ask him what he meant by it. Overall, it was a fine visit. They cleaned her teeth well. She was happy the whole time. And the minor things that irritated me about the dentist were just that - minor.

Definitely come to a pediatric dentist - it makes a huge difference! We were referred here by friends and have been to see Dr Frank Enriquez twice so far. We had wonderful experiences both times and will continue to drive out to see him. Early this year, we visited for my son's first dental appointment at 18-months. It was the perfect first experience!

My boy had never been to a dental office before. Everyone in the office - admin, hygienists and dentist - was super nice, patient and great with kids. Before heading back to get seated in an exam chair, staff played a 10 min video of Dinosaur Dudley's first dental visit (we found the clip on YouTube and watched it at home before our second appointment).

This gave my child an idea of what would happen throughout the visit. Staff explained each process and patiently showed equipment (dental mask, gloves, tooth mirror, pick) to my toddler. He felt comfortable the entire time and kept his mouth open for all the exams and cleaning. The office has a clean play corner with 20 or so toys for young children.

My son immediately took to it and even remembered the 'Big Thomas' train toy when we went for our second appointment. There are low counters and sinks designed for wee ones. The single stall bathroom is spacious and new. Can easily fit a double stroller. Our second appointment was recent for the 2 year old appointment. Experience was just as perfect as the first appointment.if only my boy's teeth were as perfect!

In case it's helpful, the office also serves special needs kids through young adults. We witnessed great care and kindness for an older boy. Everyone knew him and his caretaker by name.

My girls LOVE the atmosphere and chair side manners of everyone that works here. As I said in my initial review, this is your spot for pediatric dentistry, Dr. Frank, and staff - THANKS!
