Horrible experience. I went to PDC to get a cleaning. I was frustrated because they did almost nothing. My teeth looked and felt no different. If I wanted someone to brush my teeth I could have done it my self and saved the money. The staff made unnecessary suggestions, and wanted to pull out my permanent teeth if their braces didnt work.e On top of all that they made me wear a mask that I would be taking off 5 minutes later. Half of the staff there was not complying to their own rules. Do better.

Great, clean, kid friendly facility. They're kind to my kids and to me. I feel very respected and part of the care team. I've recommended them to all my friends!

Due to Dr. Han's rude comments and inability to make patients comfortable, we will not be coming back to this practice. Past dentists have always been nice and know how to communicate with patients and children, but he needs to go back and get educated and trained on people skills. My stomach feels sick to think that I need to pay for his awful service.

I never write reviews. (Well until today) 2 stars for the male assistant who ensures comfortability. The ladies who work in the front office have bad interactions with customers on the phone I watched their facial expressions as they were annoyed with people calling the office. It's sad that you choose to be in a customer service field and lack just that. **Not the first greeting receptionist but the ones that sit behind, check insurance and check you out.

Besides the wait time it's the overall morale of the office. Had an appointment today at 9:30 for sedation/root canal/crown for my 7 year old son. They took us back around 10am. We waited in the room while the dental assistant prepared some medicine for another 10minutes. It's now 10:15, my son takes the meds. By 10:45 the staff is in and out of the room getting supplies for another procedure.

By 10:55 they come to the room escort me and my husband to the lobby. The female Dr doesn't even have the common courtesy to address me or my husband. The female assistant to the dr was just as unprofessional. Instead of insuring my comfort, with him being alone during the procedure she begins to discuss "you signed the consent, this is a hospital setting".

All I wanted to do was sit outside the room to ensure his cooperation and comfort. Most importantly I didn't feel the compassion from the Dr/female assistant when they came to the room to escort us to the lobby. I understand not being able to stay in the room for a Pulpotomy, but to not be able to sit outside the door to make sure they are treating my son with respect and have patience with him is unsettling. Guaranteed not to come back or refer anyone here.

It's 11:15am, Give me my X-rays I'll drive 45 minutes back to my old practice where they run on time and value their patients. Now that I'm reading the other reviews I can see the entire office staff besides the male assistant are unhappy with no bedside manner or regards for the patient and the family. This is definitely not a friendly environment Signed- Someone who was in dentistry for 15 years. Recommending reevaluating your line of work.

Your empathy and care for the families that you cross paths with. Getting back to the reason you chose pediatric dentistry. ***Please clean the cement from the crowns as well.

I gave pediatric dental care two stars because typically it is clean and looks nice on the inside plus it's pretty easy to schedule an appointment. What I will say is the woman at the front desk with the glasses has no social skills and one of their assistants has no business working with children. She literally is very awkward and aggressive and doesn't know how to interact with them.

I had to give this office a call Monday evening after hours due to my daughter complaining of pain in the back of her mouth. When I looked inside her mouth I saw her gum tissue swollen and covering her new tooth (tooth number 30). I had to leave a message. One of their doctors on call had called in a prescription for antibiotics. The really disappointing part is the fact that they did not bother to call us in the following days to check on my daughter and to schedule an appointment for her to be seen.

No one called us to follow up. It seems a bit strange to me that a dentist called in antibiotics straight away but didn't attempt to check in on the patient or schedule a follow up. Wednesday morning I called and scheduled her for an exam to be seen that day at 2:30. We were taken back by one of their assistants. She had a horrible interaction with my daughter. Didn't say one word to her.

She talked to me directly and stated she needed to take X-rays. She was really aggressive when trying to take the PA of tooth number 30. At one point I had to ask her to stop because she was hurting my daughter. When we get back to the room the doctor explains my daughter is being referred to an oral surgeon to have the painful gum tissue removed.

As soon as we got into the car I called the office they referred us to. I was told the doctor has been retired and the other doctors did NOT see children. I took my daughter back into the office and explained this to the woman with the glasses at the front desk. She disappeared for a moment and returned to tell me "well just take her to see one of the other doctors there." I then asked her if she heard what I said when I mentioned the other doctors did not see children.

She disappeared and came back again with another referral and these were her exact words " try this place. If these doctors don't see children then you need to call your insurance and figure it out for yourself. " I was in shock. Can you imagine a dental office that doesn't stay up to date with their referrals and could care less about the outcome?

We are talking about my child here. I definitely understand at this point that they do not go the extra mile and have very limited care for their patients. We will not be back to this office. I am glad someone else left a review of doctor Han so that we can see this is a pattern. When it comes to your kids, you can't afford to have a doctor care a small amount.

Horrible experience. Such a shame! Called to cancel my son's appointment and to have it rescheduled for December. The receptionist told me they were booked in December to which I replied - ok please book us sometime after December or if you have a cancellation please call me. The receptionist replied "well if his cavity gets worse, we won't fix it!" Excuse me - that's literally your job! To fix teeth! Such a shame that this clinic opened in our neighborhood and we were treated like that.

They will waste your entire day by just taking 1 teeth extraction and then they will say we got only 1 assistance thats why its taking longer. Not satisfied with there work I have appointment coming for my child in July but Its a no no from me. I am already done with it. To take good amounts of money from insurance they will never finish the job on your first visit. You have to go back again n again so they can make as much money they can from you and waste your time. They need to do thing in timely.

I like drs work there. However, the reason I gave 3 star because they dismiss my three kids from clinic. They told they miss three appointments and my baby one year old has appointment for the first time for him at clinic. I explain to them why you dismiss all my kids of one of them miss three appointment and one of the appointment was on Monday and they require 24 note so I called them on Monday morning because weekend.

They told me this is not acceptable you should call on Sunday and leave a message. Then they told me ok just bring the new baby but we don't have any availability until three month in future. So we decided to move forward to other clinic. In conclusion, dentists dr work there are great but I don't like management office for dismissing all three kids for reason one of them miss three appointment during around three years period.

Yesterday my oldest daughter had a fall and knocked several of her front teeth loose. I thought the only thing holding them in was her braces. Luckily we got right in to the dentist. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Ha. She and her hygienist worked like a pit crew with tiny tools and sweltering PPE to save my baby's teeth. It was painful and awful to watch and we're still not out of the woods but I'm so grateful for her. I just wanted to share in case you're looking for a pediatric dentist. (All 3 dentists there are excellent)

The staff informed me they would provide our 3 year old son who had cavities a numbing/calming drug which was provided orally. We weren't allowed in the back during the procedure. Within an hour of leaving our son became very ill. We called the office to let them know and they noted that some kids react differently, that it should pass and if not should go to the ER.

Our son continued to vomit and get more ill so we rushed to the ER where he received IVs and anti-nausea drugs to flush his system. Fortunately, he recovered from this traumatic event. I called PDC the next day to let them know what else happened. It took Dr. Han (first to call me back) almost three days to even call back to check on our son. Their website and motto is KIDS COME FIRST. Clearly not in our case. I would not recommend taking your children here.

You won't get better results, advice and experience anywhere else. We've been taking our children to Pediatric Dental Care of years and they're fantastic. All of the doctors and staff are great; they are sincerely interested in making sure children get good care and have a good experience. On top of that, their new facilities are nice and modern. If I could give another star I would.

Do NOT take your child here. It's a lovely new office which is deceiving. Bottom line: They see dollar signs and not parents. They intimidate you by saying all these terrible things will happen. And then ask for a large deposit before they'll confirm an appointment. And the worst part--you CANNOT be with your child during the cavity filling. Instead, you tell them how much pain you feel comfortable with your child handling. My gut told me this was all wrong--and it was. I went elsewhere for a second opinion. I'd recommend others do the same.

I took my daughter for a dental check up with Dr. Han. The visit was very pleasant. Dr. Han and his staff are friendly and welcoming my daughter. We went to the new practice in Fairfax location which was nicely done. I couldn't be more happier. This is a wonderful dental office to bring a child to. It has a lot of space that make us feel comfortable while waiting in the lobby. My daughter is definitely looking forward to her next dental visit!

Great dentist for kids! Wonderful lobby filled with tyos, books, tv, games and video games Kids get a toy at the end. The people here are all amazing with kids and able to calm them down better than doctors or any other awkward scary situation for a kid. They are able to use tricks to calm them down and put their fears to rest Great dentist!

My 21 month son just had his first appointment at this practice and we absolutely loved it. Dr Fontes was very very thorough, answered all my questions, was very patient and loving with him and did all the cleaning and work herself. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Before the appointment they called me and contacted my insurance and did all the work for me and were very cordial and nice in general. I'm very picky about doctors and dentists but it was overall a great experience. The office is very nice too, clean, everything brand new and modern. Very kid friendly.

Dr Han and Dr Ha are excellent with the kids and are really good at taking the time to explain things to me. Had to take my younger son for a sledding accident that knocked his front teeth out (thankfully baby teeth) and someone was available immediately on a Fri afternoon. Their hygienists and office staff are so efficient and friendly. Definitely recommend.

My daughter came in for her first tooth extraction today. The staff are excellent and fit us right into the schedule. Dr. Fontes and her assistants were amazing. Explained everything and very nurturing. Made this a very positive experience for my six year old. I recommend this practice highly. The best pediatric dental practice we have been to.

Horrible! Too many patients and too few dentists to attend to them. My 6 year old needed fillings and had to wait 40 minutes after getting the novocaine shot before the dentist even started.

My 1.5 year old had not had a reason to see a dentist yet, but after a serious injury to her teeth from an accident at the park we needed to see someone immediately. I googled the closet office to my home and called for an emergency appointment. They said they could see me in 15 minutes! I was so relieved! As soon as I arrived they took us back for observation and X-rays.

The staff was unbelievably kind and sympathetic. Thank goodness the injury was not as bad as It appeared. Dr. Ha was amazing! Very caring and reassuring. I highly recommend this practice to everyone in the area.
