I am so grateful to Dr Nava and the team at Cupertino Dental Group! I had some sensitivity I had in other teeth after a procedure, and the details were always changing and the pain was moving around between teeth so it was hard to figure out. They were very conservative in recommending treatment, and were able to help me get through it to a pain-free state without any additional procedures or work on my teeth.

They saw me for free follow up appointments four times, with different dentists stopping in to help even when I was only scheduled to see an assistant, and got me in on short notice - all of this meant so much when I was trying to deal with mystery pain and not sure if I had a more serious problem. I strongly recommend them.

They charge for surgery / root canal before they even do the procedure. If you don't end up doing it they don't refund you. Think before you go to them. I would not recommend to anyone

Dr. Sharareh Tajbakhsh and her staff make going to the dentist enjoyable and really made me feel comfortable with all the dental work that was performed. Very compassionate, prompt and professional. I am so happy that she is our DDS and have referred friends and family. AMAZING!

I made appointment for my son here as it was recommended by my sister-in-law who's a professor at UOP and knows of several of the dentists. I don't know how their service is, but I do know they did not communicate the length of the appointment or what was to be done at appointment. I thought it was your standard cleaning and that's it.

This lack of communication created several scheduling issues with me for the remainder of the afternoon. Upon arrival I was told it was a 45 minute appointment. Apparently that was a lie because after 45 minutes they told me that was just for X-rays and then cleaning was next. The lesson here is that you must verify with them what they are going to do prior to showing up so you know exactly how long they're going to take.

They obviously don't consider your time in their equations of what they're doing when they book appointments as they don't communicate the total duration required for your appointment. The last time I checked the Earth revolved around the Sun not Cupertino Dental scheduling department.

Dr. Low and staff did an amazing job on internal bleaching my two front teeth that got dark due to root canals (see attached before and after pictures). Over the years, I went to many different dentist offices but no one really wanted to work on my teeth because they are healthy. Other dentists weren't confident enough to provide the right solution for my discolored teeth.

When I talked to Dr. JJ, he told me right away what was going to happen. Step one would be internal bleaching since it's the cheapest and fastest option. If I wasn't happy, then we would've done crowns or veneers. I'm thrilled that internal bleaching worked very well for me. Highly recommend this office :) The office is really good at checking your insurance plan to make sure that you get all your teeth cleanings that your insurance allows allows per year! I also love my hygienist who has a pretty complicated name, he is so funny and I'll get his name right someday. I would rate this office 1 million stars if I could yay!

Be careful. I used to trust them. I do not anymore. They utilize creative bookkeeping and cannot give you an itemization of past charges because their financial tracking system is so poor. I wasted 2 hours round trip yesterday to be turned away from my appointment. First their financial person Eileen committed fraud, asking me to sign a paper for a different tooth treatment, lying saying it was for today's treatment, when actually she was getting a signature she forgot to get from me last month.

I would not have had an issue at all signing truthfully, but the signature was obtained under false pretenses. They have a policy of turning you away if you have a balance, even if the balance is at issue. I didn't know the financial person I was working with had left 4 weeks prior, immediately following our last conversation with actions pending.

I was accused of lying by Eileen. When I explained I was working on a balance question with the former finance person, her response was, "no, she hasn't worked here for a long time." If you do not like being treated like a criminal, find another scrupulous dentist. It saddens me that our otherwise good relationship has to end this way. Though it pains me to write this, I feel the need to share to protect other innocent people.

Horrible customer service. I went in for an appointment and was told I would be receiving the service that day. I got to the office and was told it was only going to be a consultation. I went back home and the problem got worse, I was then rescheduled twice. I received a quote for what I would be getting done and scheduled an appointment. When I got there for the appointment my dr was not there and I was going to be getting my crown placed by another doctor which I felt extremely uncomfortable about.

I told them I would reschedule till my doctor was there (it was a 45 minute drive). I came back for the appointment to get my crown placed and told the front desk that I just turned 26 and will be off my parents insurance will this stil be covered? The front desk assured me it would be covered. A couple weeks later I get another bill in the mail for 1500.

I am now stuck with paying 3000 for a tooth. Avoid this place unless you have an endless amount of money to spend. They do not communicate, and will not work with you even when they are in the wrong.

This is my friends dentists actually, but they left a useless 2minute voicemail where they were saying " hold on I lost your appointment date sorry. you know what I'll call you back" really should've been more professional. It felt almost like a prank call? I'm sure they're great dentists but that certainly left a bad impression on me lol.

First of all let me say I absolutely hate going to the dentist. Ever since I was a kid. This is most likely the reason I put off going to the dentist for 10 years! Ouch. Since I recently found out I am pregnant with twins, meaning I can no longer self medicate when I get a tooth ache. So i had to call the dentist. I spoke to Jennifer, who was so kind, considerate and caring i began to think maybe the dentist wasn't so bad. Jennifer kindly booked me an appointment the very next day with Dr. Alex.

By this time I was in so much pain I was actually excited for my appointment. The process was easy, the entire and I mean entire staff was amazing! I walked out of the office with two more appointments booked and new love for the dentist! Dr. Alex is fabulous, I had no pain during or after the fillings. Thru the entire procedure Dr. Alex checked with me to see if I was doing ok.

I love the dentist now. So this morning when I woke up with a horrible pain in my mouth I literally counted down the minutes till I could call the dentist. I spoke to Jennifer, an angel, and she booked me an appointment for 9am ( same day!). This time I met with Dr. Low. Dr. Low explained to me that I either needed to pull the tooth or get a root canal.

I opted for the root canal. Then Dr. Low began gathering tools and I asked " wait you are going to do it right now?" Dr. Low said "yes unless you want to come back". At this point I started to cry, not because I was scared or sad but because I was in so much pain I was so relieved. I thanked him over and over again. So now a short 5 hours after the root canal I am able to eat just fine and have zero pain!

I couldnt be happier. If you are looking for a dentist cupertino dental group has the best ones around! I now LOVE the dentist! Did I mention I had no pain during the root canal or after at all. Amazing. I cant wait to go back to the dentist now!

Dr. Angie and her team are AMAZING! She is super kind and explains every single step clearly so you know what is coming, which is great for a patient like me who instantly has anxiety visiting the dentist. I had a crown procedure today and the facility was completely sterilized with tons of procedures for covid-19 sanitization, I felt super safe which was a relief because I really needed to go in for my tooth.

The procedure itself was painless and quick and efficient, Dr. Angie has little angel hands, I barely felt the numbing and was pleasantly surprised when I was told the procedure was already over. They also have amazing machinery and technology that I have never seen before, I am weirdly excited to go back for my next cleaning.

Daylight Robbery happening at Cupertino dental group. Dr Angie, Molina the billing person and Kimberly the scheduler are the worst people you will deal with. I would recommend stay the hell away from Cupertino dental group. If you cancel an appointment they will charge you $120. Scoundrels I tell you! Should be in the collection business. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else.

Apple employees please stay away from this business. They tell you you are covered under they are not a MetLife dentist.total con artists waiting for you to walk in the office. Will be all nice to you but all they want is you money!

Dr Nava and Dr Sammy, the oral Surgeon, are excellent. I would avoid the two dentists who are daughter and nephew of the owner.

There are many things I take into consideration when I choose my primary care Dentist. I can wholeheartedly assure you, Dr. J.J. and Cupertino Dental Group embody all of these characteristics and then some. Let me explain why I chose CDG before I get into the details of my personal experiences. Convenience - Location is everything when it comes to business and choosing where to get care. CDG took this into mind when choosing Torre Ave for their office location.

Parking availability, proximity to public transit, street visibility and ease of access are all present here. Dental/Dr. Credentials - The dental industry is ever changing. Advancements in technology continue to push the industry forward, so it's very important to be confident in your Dr.'s ability in preventative care, diagnostics and treatment.

This is why credentials and continued education are important when deciding on a dentist. Dr. J.J. has 20+ years of experience of cosmetic dentistry after his training at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Dr. J.J. holds memberships on 5+ dental related associations, boards and societies proving his dedication to continued education and excellence in the field.

Consider me confident. Reviews - As we all know, online reviews do not always offer truthful reflections of a business, but they absolutely offer a glimpse into the general practices of a company. A Google search can also make or break a practice. Dr. J.J. at CDG is a superstar when it comes to his reviews. Dr. J.J. has endless 5 star reviews on multiple online venues (Yelp, Demandforce).

You will be extremely hard pressed to find someone who isn't raving about his dentistry skills and personability. I needed to get a crown replaced on a root canal tooth that was done a while back in Arizona when I lived there. I was able to make an appointment with the friendly and knowledgeable front office staff who was able to get me an appointment on short notice. Check-in was super easy and quick.

I was called back for my appointment early and brought back to Dr. J.J.'s chair by my Dental Assistant Sunny (Sorry if I spelled it incorrectly!) who is absolutely wonderful. Sunny was able to painlessly take multiple needed x-rays of my mouth and prep me for Dr. J.J. prior to his arrival. Dr J.J. and Sunny took impressions of my mouth and put in a temporary crown until the permanent one arrived from the lab.

This process was remarkably easy, painless and I felt like I've known Sunny and Dr. J.J. for years. I scheduled my next appointment with Monica, who was also very friendly and accommodating. The permanent crown arrived just short of 2 weeks later and I returned to CDG for placement. Dr. J.J. and Sunny are seriously the dream team of dentistry.

The crown was placed, looked and felt great and adjusted perfectly. Dr. J.J. was sure to make alterations to my night guard and Sunny covered all the paperwork with me wonderfully. No surprises and complete transparency with every step and process. I can't say enough good things about Cupertino Dental Group, Dr. J.J. and Sunny. I had five star experiences from the first phone call until I stepped out of the office. Dr. J.J. and CDG will absolutely be my primary dentist/location for the foreseeable future. Thank you, Dr. J.J. and Sunny. You guys are truly the best!

Pathetic practice and they are only after money! If you can stay away, you should. The receptionist will mislead you and make false promises so be prepared! I would not recommend Dr Tricia Mockler.

I couldn't be happier with the level of service and care I received at Dr. Mockler's practice. The entire staff is professional and friendly. They take the mystery out of the medical billing system so you know what will be covered and what will be owed out of pocket. They also treated me like their top priority and I am thrilled with my new implant! Dentistry is not just medicine, there is a huge art component to it, and wow!

I ended up looking better than I did prior to the accident that caused me to need all this dental work in the first place! I am so grateful to have discovered a dentist like Dr. Mockler who cares so much about their work- down to the tiniest details. I highly recommend this office to anyone and everyone who wants healthy teeth.

Going to a new dentist can be nerve-wracking and I was nervous yesterday when meeting the staff and Dr. JJ Salehieh for the first time. The Dental Group came highly recommended and that gave me calm. Meeting Monica first, I was met with a big smile and professional kindness. Then Marlene, the outstanding hygienist who was systematically meticulous, and her expertise was evident with the impeccable work she did with my cleaning.

I bonded with her personality and left feeling she was a blessing to my mouth and happy to know her. Then, Dr. JJ who was outstanding in his pursuit to ensure I have the best care AND he was humorous and kind, two additional gifts as best practices! So far, so great : JGiddings

This is a group that has declined in professionalism and proficiency in the last few years. After 15 years of professional and conservative dental care, the practice has turned into a business first, patient care second group that focuses on the next procedure no matter how necessary, all while missing problems which should have been previously seen on X-rays.

The Specialty Group includes part time oral surgeons, periodontists and endodontists who all spend, at most, a day or two per week at this practice and their lack of commitment shows. They disagree on treatment approaches for the same patient which couldn't be more frustrating and confusing for the patient involved. I recommend staying away from this practice.

Wow, colour me impressed. :) I had an aching tooth and my regular dentist wasn't available. I called CDG and had an appointment same day with Dr Mockler. I met Dr Mockler and after an x-ray she ascertained that I might need a root canal. Because CDG has an on-site endodontist, I only needed to wait 15 mins and got a consultation with Dr Kyle Low during the same visit! Lisa (specialty co-ordinator) and Lauren (dental co-ordinator) were super professional, hospitable, and helpful.

They both co-ordinated with each other to check my insurance and estimate my out of pocket expenses for both a root canal and a crown. AMAZING! I highly recommend you consider CDG because of their first rate service quality and openness to help someone in need. Kudos, team!
