Bonding is a quick, painless in-office procedure, to repair cracks, chips, gaps between teeth or cover stained teeth to enhance your smile. Bonding can often be done without anesthesia if there is no decay or pulp exposure. The bonding material is developed in many shades allowing the dentist to accurately match the shade of your natural teeth.

We accept most insurance plans and will gladly process and file your claim for you.

My wife and I recently relocated from Dallas to Austin and I had not had a chance to find a good local dentist. On Wednesday this week, one of my crowns came off and I immediately did an extensive search (e.g., Angie's List, Google, NextDoor, etc.) and found the very highly rated Oak Hill Family Dental Center whose reviews and reputation stood out over every other practice I could find within a 25 mile radius.
While this wasn't technically an emergency situation, I wanted to get the problem taken care of ASAP and called OHFDC after hours to leave voice mail requesting an appointment. To my surprise, a very nice lady by the name of Carmen actually picked up the phone and said that they could work me in at 8:00 AM the very next morning! I showed up 10 minutes early with completed papers in hand (all downloadable from their website) and was immediately seated and attended to by Dr. Nelson and his RN/RDA wife assistant, Marian.
In a nutshell, after checking my temperature and blood pressure, they very thoroughly assessed the conditions of my tooth and crown, determined that it was not possible to reuse the old crown (too much "margin"), fitted me for a new porcelain-on-metal crown (still the best crown technology in my experience as I still have one that is 35+ years old), and manufactured/installed a temporary crown to tide me over until the new crown comes in.
And last but certainly not least, the entire process was completely painless, requiring neither numbing nor sedation during the tooth "trimming" process (note they have multiple forms of anesthesia and sedation available if needed/desired)! Needless to say, I have found my go-to Austin dental experts and I will actually look forward to my next trip to the dentist!
