My favorite dentist I've ever been to. Also ALL of the staff is absolutely wonderful.

After a car accident I needed to have my teeth repaired or cosmetically improved. I went to my dentist in Athens with unacceptable results and was referred to a dentist in Buckhead that told me for $38,000 for 12 teeth I could look "younger". I called Dr. Shawn Gurley's office, had an appointment within a few days, was treated so well and had an amazing and productive visit with Dr. Gurley. I have my temporaries and could not be happier. Dr Gurley and his staff are amazing. He listens to your needs and delivers. Thank you to the Dr. and the entire staff.

Today my husband went to see Dr. Gurley for a issue with his tooth for the fist time. First let me say that my husband is a true man in the essance that he does not like going to the dentist or doctor for any reason. His tooth was giving him a huge problem so he had no choice. Once meeting Dr. Gurley and his staff he is now a patient for life. He loved that Dr. Gurley was very thorough and he actually listened to you.

His staff was professional and welcoming from the time you entered his office, until the time you left. His office is immaculently clean and organized. If you are looking for a dentist that is efficient, courteous and kind look no further!

Fixed my filling when my other dentist told me I'd need a root canal. He's great and actually listened to me. I'll be seeing him from here on out!

Dr. Gurley fixed a broken tooth for me in 2002 and did a fantastic job. I moved away and chipped the tooth again in 2017 playing sports. Another dentist fixed the tooth and used some acrylic paste-on that was horrible, showed the broken tooth behind it and looked horrible. That's the difference between a detailed cosmetic dentist and someone winging it with half-hearted approaches.

I couldn't take the way it looked anymore and the tooth chipped again in 2020. By this time, I had moved back to Alpharetta. Dr. Gurley removed the other garbage and worked his magic. The tooth looks fantastic and I am not ashamed to smile anymore. Many thanks to a super nice, humble and excellent dentist.

Please do not go here. After a dozen "re-do's" in one year, hours of wasted time and a sincere lack of professionalism I'm embarrassed to smile. what more can I say? When presented with my final concerns Dr. Gurley told me he's done messing with it. And this is the final result that he's willing to put his name on. Please don't waste your time or trust your smile here.

Dr. Gurley and his team are wonderful! My husband, daughter, and son have all been to have various services at his office. He's always efficient, honest about treatment options, upfront about cost, and incredibly gentle with the kids. I'm thankful to have someone that we can all trust. I visited this office for the 1st time last week with both my kids based on a referral from a long time friend. I was a little nervous because I normally deeply dislike going to the dentist. I have to say that everyone was wonderful, professional and welcoming. It was truly my BEST experience in a dental office that I have ever had. Both my son and daughter were also very pleased and comfortable with their experience. Celeste was very kind to us while we were in the waiting area. Dr. Gurley was friendly, thorough and communicated clearly.

He even took the time to share with me my son's 3D imaging and the wonderful ladies at the reception desk called my insurance to confirm coverage of the scans before they were taken. Our hygienist Shannon was sweet, gentle and made sure we were comfortable. I actually look forward to my next visit!

I just had my first appointment at this office and let me tell you, it was fantastic! I have also previously managed a dentist office so I am well aware of what makes a good dental experience. The check in process was smooth and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can always get a good feel for how an office runs when you show up for a new patient appointment because these are typically longer than a normal appointment due to having X-rays and a pano done.

My appointment was a great example of efficiency without losing quality patient care. My hygienist Shannon was fast, gentle, thorough, and explained each step of the process so you knew what was going on. Once my cleaning was completed, Dr. Taylor came in for the exam. I can't say enough about his temperament and ability to put a patient at ease in an environment that most are uncomfortable in.

He made sure to explain what his recommendations were and why he was making them. I felt completely informed about my upcoming procedure and 100% confident that I am in good hands when I come back for a filling in a couple of weeks. If you do not have a dentist currently and are in the area, or willing to drive for a better dental experience, you need to call this office. You are doing yourself a disservice if you go anywhere else.

We LOVE Dr. Gurley and his entire team at North Atlanta Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Gurley is an excellent dentist that everyone in my family likes and trusts. His hygienists do a terrific job of cleaning our teeth and giving us the information we need to keep our teeth healthy. His office is extremely well run and we are always seen just moments after we arrive for our appointment time. Everyone at North Atlanta Aesthetic Dentistry is friendly, knowledgable, and very skilled at their job. I highly recommend this practice!

On time and efficient service from the start to the finish of my appointment. Front desk personnel are on top of things with a happy greeting, while the dental hygienist was quick and personable. Dr. Gurley is always pleasant and easy-going as well. Dr. Gurley doesn't try to "over-treat" - he tells you like it is, makes suggestions when needed, and there's no pressure. It's great when you have a calming experience from beginning to end when you visit the dentist. It's very important to me!

I've come to Dr. Gurley's office now for several years, and have never been disappointed. Everyone is extremely friendly, and, makes the visit as painless as possible. I've in the past hated going to the dentist, but they make it quick and easy to come in! Although I live in Atlanta, I still make the 20 minute drive to see Dr. Gurley and his wonderful staff. It's 100% worth the crazy Atlanta traffic! I'd recommend the office to everyone in the area.

As much as I hate coming to the dentist. I love coming to North Atlanta Dental. Dr and staff make me feel SO comfortable no matter what the procedure. I've been a patient of Dr. Gurleys for years because of the professionalism and care! Highly recommend!

Dr. Gurley and his staff are the best in Atlanta. I have been searching for a good dentist for years and I can finally say I have found a dentist for me and my family to consistently go to. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable and relaxing visit.
