Dr. Nomi is skilled, detailed a pleasure to deal with. When my Dentist of 30+ years retired, I asked my Periodontist for a referral. He referred me to Dr. Russ Nomi. He said you'll like him, and he is excellent and my Periodontist is very picky. He was right. Dr. Russ is very detailed, caring and a pleasure to work. He staff is great too. My last dentist was excellent. I'm so glad I found another Dentist of the same caliber.

I've been there for a year. Doctor Russell Nomi is doing a great jub. But I'm still impressed by the bad customer service when scheduling appointments. The reception who picks up the phone has an attitude. Like she's doing a mercy to arrange me an appointment.

I used to avoid or prolong any dental visits until I met dr. Russ. Both Russ and his son are great at what they do. They genuinely care about their patients and go out of their way to make sure you are ok. I have the utmost respect for these guys and will happily refer any one their way!

My experience with this office was several years ago, and lasted less than 2 years. I stumbled upon my old claims when doing some clean up and felt compelled to write this review. What sets a good dentist apart? Great dentistry skills and treating patient like human with feelings and intellect. I did not experience either with Dr. Nomi. He kept overtreating my teeth, lacked attention to details in his work, resulted in my pain, unnecessary correction visits, and eventually loss of use of a molar.

I could not count on clear and truthworthy explanation of why I needed these treatments. All I know was that I came to him with no prior problem, as I had a great dentist taking care of me for years. Then in his hand all of a sudden I am this endless list of problems. I didn't do all his asks, and left to find a new dentist after my bad experience with him "fixing" a limited subset of these problems.

With my new dentist who have consistent 5 star reviews, all these "problems" just disappeared and I can use my teeth again, and I have happily stayed as a loyal patient. I just looked at my claims and realized I had more visits with Dr. Nomi in less than 2 years than in 6 years with my dentist both before and after him, and I experienced far more problems at his hand than with the other two dentists. So after I realized this, I feel I need to write this review, as I am confident that I just can't recommend Dr. Nomi's level of skills or care as a dentist.

Dr. Nomi and team are extremely interested if providing the best possible care for your teeth and health. He invests in the best technology to improve results and minimize any pain. He is a family man, Gwen is a hygienist, and Wes his son following in Dad's footsteps. We are very fortunate to have a Dentist like Russ and Wes so close. They get my highest marks!

I am so Grateful and Thankful for Dr. Nomi. After over a year of a LONG frustrating story that I won't go in to. I switched dentist and just started going to Dr. Nomi. The ladies that answer the phone are so kind and thoughtful and made me feel so welcomed being a new patient. And OMGosh. Dr. Nomi went above and beyond to help me out with this history of a Crown turned into a Root Canal turned into a re-do Root Canal.

Like I said it's a long story. Dr. Nomi shared my story with Dr. Eichenberger at Redmond Endodontics for a 2nd opinion. Which I was extremely grateful for. I will say you are in good hands with Dr. Nomi and his staff. They sure do make you feel like "YOU MATTER".

Both my husband and I got so lucky to come across Dr. Russell Nomi when we moved to Kirkland twelve years ago. My situation was especially severe after a long time of bad dentists and poor genetics. Dr. Nomi single-handedly saved my teeth although it took a lot of work. He takes ownership of his work and coordinates his patients' care with a talented team. This is probably the busiest dental clinic I have ever encountered and that is not surprising.

My experience with this father and son dental practice has been a nightmare. After x-rays and an exam, I was told I needed a crown. We proceeded. The dental assistant who placed the temporary crown was frustrated when she couldn't attach it quickly and became painfully rough and aggresive. I had to stop her 3 times due to the pain. The following morning, the temporary crown fell off the tooth.

I went in and showed it to the dental assistant who spoke to Wesley Nomi when he arrived. She stated the temp had fallen off and he quietly responded, "Taking most of the tooth with it". I asked what could be done. Wesley Nomi stated he could crown the two adjoining teeth and place a bridge. All at my expense. I explained my concern regarding my experience with the assistant placing the temp crown and my concern that she had broken my tooth.

I would have gladly paid a portion of the repair work, but not the full amount he talked about. I then wrote to Russell Nomi, who agreed to meet with me. The contempt and anger he displayed was frightening and shocking. He told me he would do the necessary work at no charge, but only if I signed a legal document agreeing to never talk about what happened.

A silence agreement, and legally binding. I have to wonder how many others there are, like me, who trusted this 5 star dental team but experienced problems. Are there a lot of patients who agreed to sign this document and indeed remain silent? I feel so strongly that this was a complete scam, I will now have a visibly missing tooth until I am able to pay for the work with another dentist.

Ive known Russ since before he opened his practice in 1980. As a Doctor he's as close to perfect as it gets. As a person he exhibits similar qualities.

I also went based off of reviews and now suffering a major regret and what feels like a major problem in my mouth. It took a lot out of me to finally write this review, but honestly my teeth and bite are completely messed up! Dr. Nomi (the son) did 3 fillings on the left side of my mouth and my bite and teeth have gone to the gutter since then. I can no longer bite down properly on the left side, leading me to bite harder on the right and front sides.

One of the teeth he filled is miserable. I suffer from so much pain that never existed before then. I wake up with a headache almost daily due to screwed up bite. I went back 3 times and all 3 he kept recommending doing things that would involve more money from me and honestly I can't trust doing anything else with him. It was a waste of my money and dental health. I will be getting second opinions elsewhere to figure out exactly what he did wrong. These 5 star reviews are very misleading!

I am a newer patient to Dr. Nomi's office. I saw the son; Dr Wes Nomi for my cleaning and then his father Dr Russ Nomi for some dental work. I am thrilled to be a patient at their office. Their entire team from front office with Veronica and Sunny to everyone in the clinic I've met so far like Kersti and Lacy, they are a pleasure to talk to and have work done by.

Both doctors have a gentle bedside manner which I appreciate and their knowledge of dentistry is impeccable. I have a long journey to endure for healthier teeth and I have no doubt from my experience so far, that I will greatly be taken care of because they do what's right for the patient with their best interest and health as a priority! Thank you so much!

After many recommendations from coworkers (two have been going to see him for 10+ years - including their families) and my Invisalign orthodontist, I bit the bullet and decided to commute to the east side to see Dr Russ Nomi. He is fantastic - very detail-oriented. He was able to replace a filling in a cracked tooth without me needing to get a crown.

He also showed me pictures that clearly show that a previous dentist did not align a crown - sloppy work by a former dentist. His son (Wes, also a dentist) was also able to identity a problem with a family member's Invisalign that our previous dentist blew off. I was so happy with Russ that all my extended family have switched to him as a dentist. Also, Russ is very polite, humble and listens attentively to whatever issues you might have. He is worth the drive!

Dr. Russ Nomi, Dr. Wes Nomi and their entire team is wonderful. The women who work at the front desk are very kind and polite and all the hygienists and assistants are gentle and knowledgeable. Dr. Russ and Dr. Wes call to check up on patients during their off time to make sure you are feeling okay and healing well if you've received a procedure. They don't force any procedures on you and they give you the utmost care when it comes to your health! Thank you all!

I know everyone says this but I HATE DENTAL WORK. I have only seen one dentist my entire life and was nervous to try out a new one since I moved out of state but Dr Nomi was amazing. His team was amazing and I felt so comfortable and my procedures have been easy, painless and as enjoyable as the dentist can possibly be. I'm so happy I've found my new dentist in Washington!

I'm a relatively new patient at Bridle Trails Dentistry. Dr. Russell Nomi is outstanding, and I could not be happier. One of the best dental experiences I have ever had. At a recent check-up it was determined that I had fractured my 2 front teeth, and need a deep filling replacement on a back molar. Front teeth are the toughest thing in restorative dental work. Dr. Nomi did this with ease.

First I didn't feel a thing, not even the numbing injections! Carla administered the anesthetic - wow! Connie assisted Dr. Nomi and has an extensive background in restorative work. She went out of her way to ensure my comfort and happiness with the work. Thank you Dr. Nomi, Carla and Connie for having such deep caring for your patients and going out of your way to ensure my comfort and confidence in the procedures. My new front teeth look AMAZING!

Russell Nomi is a poor dentist, with poor communication skills, and a complete lack of a sense of self. He left me choking in his chair and berated me for not laying still while he berated me as I choked to death in place. He informed me he is a dentist and I wasn't choking. YES I WAS AND IT IS WHY I COULDN'T LAY STILL FOR YOUR CHILDISH ASS NOMI!

The office staff sell you 4 different amounts to pay and tell you you have a 100 dollar deductible when you know your plan is a ZERO DOLLAR DEDUCTIBLE! Rude office staff and the office manager is completely RUDE!

This has been my dentist for 3 years now and I couldn't be happier. Both Dr. Nomi's (father and son team) clearly care so much for there patients, staff and community. From the minute you walk in you are greeted with smiles and genuine greetings, after always a very brief wait the person that does your cleaning is nice, prompt and takes a lot of pride in their craft!

By the time you see one of the Nomi's they always remember the last conversation you had with them and want to know how you're doing, again it feels like they actually care. They look at your X-rays and teeth and never act or seemed rushed, they take the time to let you ask questions and give you simplified answers that don't make you feel dumb!

If you want whitening trays or something like that, if your a current patient I'm sure they'll find a way to give you a deal. Even when there is a billing situation (it's still a dental office and insurance companies) the lady in the billing office (next to the front desk) is so sweet and helpful you never feel like they are trying to take you for your last cent. Great office made up of great people. All good at there jobs and take great pride in that fact while still being from all account great people!

I recently moved to the Bellevue area and was looking for providers local to me for dental and healthcare. I received a recommendation from a current patient, and scheduled an appointment for a dental exam. Immediately walking in, I was greeted by very friendly staff. I'm not typically nervous with dental visits, however, having gone almost a year without seeing a dentist, I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Nomi's staff did an excellent job of getting me comfortable.

I had some X-rays taken and fortunately was told my mouth wasn't as horrendous as I was expecting (for real--having gone about a year without seeing a dentist, thought it would need some heavy duty work). I did learn I had some fillings that needed replacing, and scheduled an appointment to take care of them and a cleaning afterwards. Coming back in for my next appointment, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by name, making me feel I was a long-time patient. Dr. Nomi artfully and delicately handled my filling replacements.

I was in comfort watching some candy show on the Food Network, and not once felt any discomfort. I didn't wince at any point, and for having sensitive teeth and gums, this was a huge win for me. While fixing up my teeth, Dr. Nomi found something else he mentioned should be replaced/addressed. As it wasn't in the original planning for the appointment, I wasn't sure if it meant I needed to come back at a later time. Amazingly (and awesomely), not only did Dr. Nomi take care of it with the other fillings, but did it as a good gesture--my insurance wasn't billed for the unexpected work.

I really felt (and still feel) that my care was being treated personally, and highly recommend anyone in the area (or even out of the area) looking for dental work to head here. I'll definitely be back, and looking forward to seeing Dr. Nomi and his team again.

My wife, kids and I have been coming to Russ Nomi for over a decade now. He's an excellent dentist and a great, caring person. I trust him implicitly. Many times over the years after a more serious procedure he has called to make sure the person who received treatment was doing OK. And it's so great that his son Wes has joined the practice!

Dr. Nomi has been my dentist since I was born (~29 years). I have had extensive work done over the years and throughout it all Dr. Nomi and his staff have been top notch. If it's a cleaning, cavity, removal, or just a consultation, know you're in good hands with this office! As an added bonus, you're usually able to watch TV while they are working on your teeth/mouth.

My family has seen Dr. Nomi as a dentist for 10 years now and I can highly recommend his dental office. I fist saw him for a failing root canal and he has replaced failing fillings and caps. His work is fist rate and my family's teeth have never been better.

I have been seeing Russ for my teeth so many years, I have forgotten how long it has been. Everyone does a great job. They are current on all the new procedures and able to weed through fads, doing what is best for the clients

I went to Dr Nomi's for regular dental cleaning. It was scheduled for two hours. They finished up my lower row of teeth cleaning in half an hour and asked me to come back next time to do deep cleaning. I told them that they have NOT completed my regular cleaning yet because they only did the lower row. And they told me they won't clean my upper row teeth until I do a deep cleaning for next time's visit.

This is the first time I went to Dr Nomi's for treatment, but not the first time I do dental cleaning. I've been to many many dentists, but no one, no one treated me like this dentist or no one forced me to have some treatment I don't need and I don't want to like this dentist. I was shocked and very frustrated by this kind of robbing and similar to raping.

This is definitely the worst dentist I have ever been to throughout my life, not only because of the above mentioned, but also because of their poor treatment and old schooled equipments. I won't be there again.

I love this place. I received an extensive letter after my cleaning & examination summarizing my appointment along with an extensive overview of the work I need to have done on my teeth, complete with pictures and price break downs. Be aware: Cleaning takes up to an hour. It's very, very extensive but that's a good thing.

I'm not very old but I've had a lot of dental work done on me in my lifetime. He really is as good as it gets! :) The clinic is very well organized. The decorations inside are pretty and neat. The receptionist is pretty and thorough in her work. The first time I arrived, they took my picture to remember me. Once I got into the chair, they checked all of my teeth, gums, and gave me an x-ray.

At the end of the appointment, they told me everything that I needed to know about what they did that they and what I needed to schedule more time for. A couple of days later I got a letter in the mail letting me know again everything that happened and what I still needed to get fixed. I was surprised at how clear everything was. I had scheduled an appointment to get my old fillings replaced.

I told them that I get very nervous when I get work done on my teeth but the whole staff made me feel very comfortable. After the appointment, Dr. Nomi made sure that I was ok, and even had a follow up call from the receptionist the day after. Thank you for your care Nomi Office and Staff. :)

I have been going to Dr. Nomi for about six years now. He runs a well organized, professional office, employs excellent hygienists, and is a bit of a perfectionist (something I want in a dentist). I recommend him to people on a regular basis. In fact, he rewards referrals, so if you decide to see him based on this review, tell him Eden sent you and I get a nice breakfast out. :)

This guy rocks plain and simple.there is no better dentist or guy for that matter. He has taken care of all my kids for the last 20 years. If you have any procedure at all during the day, he will call you that night to make sure that you are ok. He is plain spoken, LOL, very blunt sometimes, but I appreciate that. Today he saw my 22 year old daughter who can't afford to go in (three years now she hasn't been).he found this out (by asking) that she wasn't covered.in response, he cut his fees WAY down so it wouldn't kill her wallet. All the hygienists are also of the highest caliber, I have refer ed friends here and they all rave about this dentist. SO go if you are looking for one on the east side.
