Patricia is our full-time dental hygienist who has been working in periodontics for almost 30 years. She has been with Dr. Strauss since 1997, and has a loyal following of patients. She graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in 1987 with an Associate of Science degree from Northeastern University, and she continues to learn and grow by attending yearly lectures at conferences and taking continuing education credit courses. In fact, she is licensed to administer local anesthesia! Patricia is very thorough, knowledgeable, and takes excellent care of her patients.

Dr. Leonard H. Strauss graduated in the top of his class from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1992. He then went on to complete advanced specialty education in periodontics at Boston University in 1994. Boston University has one of the nation's leading periodontal programs, specializing in the latest techniques of periodontics and multiple implant systems.

I went to Dr. Strauss to have a gum graft performed for a receding gum line. Dr. Strauss and Lyndsey made the experience extremely pleasant ( if having a gum graft can be pleasant:) Lyndsey is right on the ball with everything you need for administrative purposes, she was prompt with my fmla paper work, insurance and appointment scheduling. Dr. Strauss is very kind and gentle, two great qualities in a surgeon.
He explained everything in detail and there were no surprises. The procedure itself was painless, recovery was just as described. The office is beautiful and very convenient, easy free parking. My routine dentist was very impressed with his work and said it looked amazing! I would highly recommend him if you need a gum graft performed and would return if needed.

Where to begin?! Dr. Strauss, with the help of Lyndsey, literally changed my life. Pregnancy had done a number on my teeth, and I needed dental implants for all of my top teeth, along with a couple extractions on bottom. From my initial consultation, as someone with extreme anxiety, I felt the most comfortable I have EVER felt with a dentist in my life. Dr. Strauss takes the time to explain everything he is doing, and why.
He made sure I understood every aspect of my plan, and was available at any time if I had any questions/concerns at all. My surgery went great, and for the first time in 5 years, I can smile with confidence and not hide my face! They fixed my smile, and changed my life! I could not be happier with the results, and how I feel like I'm a friend and not a patient!
I cannot speak highly enough, honestly. I've already recommended them to a few other mommy friends who ran into the same problems and now need implants themselves. If I could give 1000 stars, I would! Thank you, thank you, a million times over! I'm finally genuinely HAPPY again!

Dr Strauss is straighforward and practical. First time visitor after my previous perio retired. Dr Strauss examined my mouth, told me everything looked healthy and not to bother coming back, my dentist could track it just fine! Previously my perio would take 45 min to examine, tell me to come back next year, even though nothing ever changed. Came as a referral from several relatives and friends who have also had very good experiences w Dr Strauss. His office is punctual and organized, highly recommended!

The least anxiety filled dental appointment I've ever had! Dr. Strauss was very thorough and supportive and responsive to all of my questions/concerns. Courtney was very accommodating and sincere in providing details with regards to my care. The whole office made it a very personal and comforting experience and I am not longer hesitant to going to the dentist as a result!

Dr. Strauss is terrific. He doesn't over treat. He has a gentle manner and is always up on the latest techniques. And a cleaning with Patricia is like a spa day for your mouth. I always leave with my teeth and gums looking great and feeling like they've had the most wonderful massage! (And also, kudos to Caitlin; it's always a joy to have her greet me when I arrive.) If you want a luxurious dental experience, I highly recommend Dr. Strauss and Patricia.

My long experience with Dr. Strauss and his staff has been first rate. I have been more than satisfied with the quality of care received from the doctor and Patricia, his highly skilled and assuring hygienist. The environment is welcoming and thoroughly comfortable (never dread my visit!). Caitlin, his administrative assistant, is warm, courteous and accommodating.
She reminds patients of appointments by mail and phone and is always flexible about scheduling and rescheduling. I see Patricia regularly (always on time) for cleanings (never painful!), then am checked by Dr. Strauss. I had periodontal surgery prior to becoming his patient. Since then, he has made a couple of game-changing recommendations which I'm certain have prevented further surgery.
He recently re-cemented a loose crown on the spot, saving me an appointment with my dentist. In short, Dr. Strauss and his staff are both competent AND patient centered. I thank them all.

Okay, it is difficult to rate any kind of dental work as a five star experience, but I did get five star treatment from Dr. Strauss and his assistant, Caitlin. Dr. Ellen Harrison, my dentist, recommended Dr. Strauss for my gum surgery. I was very pleased with the results. Dr. Strauss has a very calming manner, which puts his patients at ease, and his professionalism and work is topnotch. Definitely recommend him for any periodontal treatment.
