Dr. Weese and his staff were very professional and courteous. This has been my fourth tooth implant, and 4 out of 5 of my children, (adults now), have had wisdom teeth removed at this facility. All excellent experiences and they offer options too, that you can chose from, to help pay for the procedure's if needed. Would recommend their services to the young or old.

I went to Midwest Oral Surgery for an implant and my son for his wisdom teeth. We both had a great experience. The staff is very helpful, welcoming and friendly. I'd recommend Midwest to all my friends and family!

WORST customer service at a doctor's office that I have experienced in a long time. The entire, and I mean all 3 of them plus the front manager has EXTREMLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I have let my dentist, who refers several clients to this place, know what I have gone through. He informed me there are 2 places he refers people and this is the last time he is going to refer anybody to this place since there have been a handful of complaints before the client even gets in the door. AND that would be the front office staff!

The other place he refers them, ZERO complaints. I have asked, begged, got ugly all trying to get them to verify my insurance more than a day or two before my son's appointment. Why? Midwest Oral is under my insurance, but this new doctor was not. They ALL told me he "should be" covered. "Should be" covered doesn't help me. I didn't want to change the appointment if he was covered and only they could find this out for sure.

Instead of finding out, some got lazy and tried to just schedule me way farther out with another doctor. I explained this more than 6-7 times. I'm not saying the doctors are bad. I'm saying the entire front office is HORRIBLE. Truly, how are hard their jobs?

I had some wisdom teeth removed and could not have had a better experience. The doctor was very thorough in his exam and his staff was very helpful in answering all my questions. I highly recommend Midwest Oral Surgery!

I have bad dental anxiety and wasn't thrilled about having to see an oral surgeon. The staff and doctor did a great job putting me at ease and made my experience a positive one. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I got my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday by Dr. May. It was a fairly smooth process. They were able to work around my hectic schedule and get me in and out. I was pretty nervous initially, but they took great care of me and sent me home with clear instructions regarding post procedure care. I'm very appreciative of my experience and I would 100% recommend them to my friends and family!

My wisdom teeth surgery took only about 30 min. The procedure process was communicated entirely and effectively. Doctors were very knowledgeable and did a thorough job.

I went in to see Dr. Anderson get an implant. I honestly don't think I could have had a better experience. The work he did was clean and here I am the next day with barely any swelling, no redness even. I am very impressed. The professionalism of Dr. Anderson and his staff is second to none. Dr. Wewel and his assistant Samantha were amazing! I was super nervous days leading up to my procedure because I had never been sedated. When I got there they were understanding of my nerves and helped calm me down and did a great job! Dr. Wewel also did extractions on my son about a year prior to my surgery and the experience with him was the same, he was super helpful, came up with a plan action and explained things to me in terms I understood. Both procedures went great! I would highly recommend!

Had my consultation yesterday. The dental assistant ran through the information on the procedure like she had done it 100s of times before (which she may have), but seemed uninterested in listening. I kept trying to explain to her that two teeth were involved in the dental referral, one for an implant, the other for a possible extraction. She kept insisting that the referral was only for the implant, though on the referral form I received, both teeth were clearly marked and the second one designated for extraction. Dr. Wees was more helpful in explaining options, but he didn't seem to know about the second tooth either.

I had an implant done this past year and I couldn't be more pleased. They made the process so easy. Everyone was nice and professional and detailed. I never had any problems! I highly recommend Dr. Wewal!

This is the third time I've come here to have teeth removed and I have never had any issue! Went in yesterday 12/22 to have my 6th impacted wisdom tooth removed and while there I decided to ask the dentist to see if I had a tongue tie I've always thought I had. He confirmed I did and I asked "can you fix it today?" When he said absolutely and explained the procedure I was very happy! It's been bothering me for years! Everyone from check in to leaving after my procedures were just so kind and patient! Definitely recommend!

I came here to get my wisdom teeth pulled cause it was time to do so and i was under the best care possible dr.wewel was by far the best oral surgeon in nebraska very well mannered and made me feel relaxed when he put the IV in couldn't have asked for a better oral surgeon highly recomend if anyone need oral surgery

Dr. Wewel is absolutely amazing. He is very friendly and thorough. He explains things is a way that makes sense and eases your mind. He is also very easy to talk to and more than willing to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to continuing to work with Midwest OMS and would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Went in for a consultation with Dr. Anderson about having my wisdom teeth removed and the whole experience was terrific. All of the staff were wonderfully kind, Dr. Anderson himself was incredibly personable and empathetic. He spent several minutes speaking to me and showing that he truly cares about his patients. I'm very excited for my operation there and look forward to my next appointment.

After a very painful root canal issue week, I couldn't handle the pain anymore. My dentist got me in right away Monday morning and I have never been more thankful for the care I received today. Thank you all for your care today!

Very disappointed. Had a double extraction 3 years ago and had a great experience. This time, I waited an hour and a half to see the provider who was in my room less than 5 minutes and incurred $134 worth of charges that I could have been warned about prior to my appointment. I have fantastic insurance and yet found that my portion of the bill for ONE tooth extraction would be over $900 and it was a total waste of my time.

I don't know anyone that can afford that after insurance pays. Outrageous prices and when I questioned why (because I have the same insurance as last visit) apparently inflation for these procedures is 600%. I just can't with this place. Go somewhere else where they won't try to a$$ r@pe you for every dime you're worth.

Dr John Wewel is a truly gifted and skilled surgeon. Performing in my opinion a nearly painless extraction with only a dental block. I was in an out in 60 minutes and back to work that night. Thank you and your staff for excellent patient care. Brian Elliott MD FACEP

Dr. Wees is the only oral surgeon I trust for care. I have had wisdom teeth removed, implants, and another simple extraction. Each experience was positive with great results. Thanks, Midwest OMS!

I went in for a consultation and was very happy with my decision to go there. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. Dr. Wewel answered all my questions and concerns and came up with a plan that makes sense and will help me get the maximum use out of my mouth by placing implants where only necessary.

I was referred to Dr. Wewel for a tooth extraction. I had the surgery consult yesterday. It was such a positive experience all around. Everyone I encountered throughout my appointment, from front office staff, Dr. Wewel, his Dental Assistant (Tonya) & financial/billing staff were all so kind, compassionate & professional. I was amazed with how much time Tonya spent thoroughly explaining the problem I was experiencing & the treatment options.

She is extremely knowledgeable & has a way of explaining things, so the lay person can fully understand in order to make an informed decision. I hope you're paying her well, Dr. Wewel! She certainly deserves it! Such a positive experience all around! I highly recommend this oral surgery team!

My complaint with this practice is not with the procedure that was done but with the billing practices. My daughter had a consultation toward the end of last year to have some work done in conjunction with her orthodontist. At the time we were setting up for the actual procedure I explained to the insurance specialist that we were going to have new benefits in the new year including orthodontia, so I wanted to wait until after the first to schedule the appointment.

I have two witnesses to this. The insurance specialist came back to me and said that the codes being used would apply to either my dental or my medical insurance so we should go ahead and schedule the procedure prior to the end of the year so as not to lose those benefits. Silly me I trusted her. We paid our estimated portion on that date. My daughter came in and had a procedure as scheduled, no complications everything went fine.

A couple of weeks later I got a call from the billing department saying that I owed an additional $318 because insurance had denied our claim since it was applied to orthodontia. I explained to the billing person what it happened and she said she was going to talk to Dr. Wewel to see what could be done. she called me back a few minutes later and I told her that my problem with it was not that I owed additional funds it's because the portion I would've owed would've been considerably less had the insurance specialist not talked me into having the procedure done before the end of the year.

She said she would explain the situation and hopefully get me some sort of billing consideration. I just got back from a work trip and see that I have a 60 day late bill for the full amount of $318 in the mail. If you use this practice be advised The insurance specialist is not. Be prepared to pay the full amount of the procedure since you cannot trust they know what they're doing.

Midwest Oral Surgery 14625 California St Omaha NE 68154 Dr Richard Glow should NOT be an oral surgeon He is a lazy liar and will say anything to cover up his actions. 0n 29 Mar 2016 At 2pm appointment I had a referral for a #17 impacted molar to be removed. To make it easier for him to remove he took a second good molar. At 5 pm before my oral surgery was finished and Dr Glow left I Lost at least 2qt of blood and had to go to the VA Emergency According to the VA surgeon I should of not ever left Midwest OMS I was not finished because of a missing large gash in a blood vessel that no biting gauss would of held and clotted.

As a surgeon he should have known this blood vessel had to be pack and over sewn. In Dr Glow return letter he lied and said he pack it and over sewn it. What a LIER Know This, This man cannot be trusted
