Mid Wilshire Dental Care

This is the first time ever my tooth was not sensitive. Im glad I got to see Dr. Laska. He is patient and listened to my crying about my teeth getting sensitive. I'm in my early 30 and already my teeth are sensitive and hard to drink or eat. I was so desperate I asked Dr Laska if I could get done crowning or implant or anything, I just need my teeth to not be sensitive anymore and he was like "no, you don't need any of those" and put some medicine on my upper right tooth and BOOM no more sensitivity! (After putting medicine he also said let's see if this works, if not come back again in few weeks) So I'm going to see him again following Monday for my upper left tooth! Bc it WORKED! Thank you Dr. Laska! You're a life saver! and all of his staff are nice and friendly. Thank you, All! I'm extremely grateful for what you have done!

Overall, I've had a mostly pleasant and proficient experience at this office. Staff and Hygienists are friendly and mostly competent. On my first visit, I did have to wait almost 45 minutes to be seen, and Dr. Laska proceeded to take a phone call on his cell phone in the middle of my consult. That was not a great introduction to this office. Since then, Ive been back multiple times for cleanings and had a cavity filled.

I recently was told I need a root canal and crown, and worked with the treatment plan coordinator to discuss the procedure. I've had to call the office multiple times to ask about submitting to my insurance, and didn't get a call back when requested. I just wish the staff would be a bit more attentive and patient focused, but overall, this is good dental office.

I've been coming to this dentist for over 20 years. They are all I know. There dental work here is superior, never had any issues I trust there work. Front staff very nice. The dental tech staff is friendly. They take insurance and also do billing but be prepared to leave a deposit. I recommend them to anyone.

Let me first start off by saying its rare to find a dentists office where the main "actual" priority is to take care of their patients health first rather than their money. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and most importantly professional with getting me a quick check up as I was suffering from a lot of nerve pain caused by my toothache. Took a couple X-Rays and Doctor Laska seems highly professional and knowledgeable and I feel confident trusting him with my teeth. Can't wait for my next appointment!

This office sucks. First I went to have a filling which a part of flew off the next day while flossing. Also, somehow the dentist chipped part of the crown on the ADJACENT TOOTH to the filling. Not being very careful, apparently! I go back immediately, meet with the dentist who is going to repair it, then they scheduled me to have it fixed on a later appointment a month later at the same time I'm getting other fillings. Yikes, but apparently the repair wasn't pressing, so I waited.

When I go back, the front desk informs me they're going to do fillings + the repair, told me how much I would owe, then the dentist does the fillings and NOT the repair. What? And during this, a different dentist from the original was also not very careful. Dentist + assistant kept knocking around other teeth with their instruments. At one point she poked my lip with the numbing needle.

After she's done not fixing my broken filling, the dentist apparently doesn't know what I'm talking about when I ask about it. That's what I was scheduled for, and when she told me she would be repairing the fillings, I made sure to mention the correction, and she said "Yeah, " and kept going. I didn't think to question if she'd heard or if she was just glossing over what I'd said, because during every communication I'd had, it seemed very clear to me that I would be getting my broken filling fixed. I'm then asked if I want to wait an hour while she attends to another patient who's been waiting an hour. No, I don't want to wait an hour while you do what you should have done already.

I wait long enough every time I have to visit this office. It was a half hour this time. When this farce is over, I go to the front desk to pay for this while my original filling is still broken, and they have the nerve to charge me an extra $15 because they apparently had to fix an additional surface. Are you f-ing kidding me? After this many screw ups, I would have just let the $15 go.

I would be too embarrassed to ask for that. It felt shameless and unapologetic. I'm gonna let them fix the filling they screwed up because they owe me, then I need to find a new dentist. This place is sloppy.

Been coming here for years! Barbara is the very BEST dental hygienist EVER! And Dr. Abraham is an absolute delight! Dr. Laska is always awesome and onows how to surround himself with a great team! They validate parking too!

I've been coming here for years and I've always had a great experience. My previous dentist before coming here was rude and judgemental (I love caramel and I hate flossing, sorry) but I don't get that at all from any of the staff. Though they do remind me to floss more, they're never mean about it They're very upfront about information, treatments and pricing.

They have an in-house financing person (please don't ask me their official job title ) who will help you with bigger costs and financing options. They have a really solid system to remind you about upcoming appointments, both through text and actual human calls. And the front desk staff is friendly and always remembers to offer parking validation (cuz I always forget)

My regular cleaning experience was efficient and thorough. I was actually called in before my appointment time. I recalled from my last visit that I was due for X-rays on this visit. The hygienist checked my file and confirmed that. When my cleaning was done, I was accompanied to another room for the X ray. I have to say, I waited for quite a long time before getting the X ray.

There was another fairly long wait before a final quick look from Dr. Laska. I believe he was recommending bonding again, but I'm not sure I heard well. I only realized that at the appointment desk where I had more difficulty understanding what the receptionist was saying.

Always a good cleaning with my hygienist. I have had one crown done here, a number of cavities filled/older cavities drilled and refilled with new amalgam. All the work is holding up and everyone is friendly. This is a bigger office with a big office, hygienist and specialists staff but I always feel welcome and fairly stress-free! Dr Laska and Dr Chan and Dr Abraham are great!

The worst dental clinic ever. Appointment was at 11. It's currently 1pm and still here. This is insane! There's a pandemic and they still managed to squeeze in so many people. Upon my arrival there was at least 15 ppl in a small sitting area. What the hell?! unacceptable!

Been a member of Dr Laska for over 15 years. The best dentist that I have EVER ran across. Everyone in the office is friendly and they got to know me and daughter by first name basis. I have referred my sister to this dentist office and she still talks about doing them even after moving to Texas. Dr Laska is THEE best!

I had a great experience with Glenn the technician and the whole Mid Wilshire Dentistry team is professional and thorough. It's by far the best dental office I've been to in the last 20 years in Los Angeles. Highly recommend Dr. Laska and his team. Leslie Alessandro

Been coming here for over 15 years for both dental and orthodontic services. Super friendly and accommodating team, and always open to presenting lots of options whenever an issue arises without being too forceful regarding one solution or another (as I've experienced with other dentists). Often recommended to friends and co-workers!

Professional and amazing and very efficient. I was welcomed right away and did not have to wait for hours to be called into the room. I had an appointment for teeth cleaning and I have to say Golnaz (dental hygienist) did the best cleaning that I have ever done. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained every step and she had the most gentle hands. I did not feel uncomfortable and did not feel any pain throughout my cleaning. I will be going back to this place for future.

I find Dr Mark Laska to be very friendly, honest, and really has an incredible amount of knowledge when it comes to dentistry. He uses the latest tools for screenings and was able to diagnose my cyst years ago when other dentists kept making the same mistakes. I find he's always looking out for the patients. His staff is so friendly and helpful!

Stumbled upon this office thru a service (who knew this was the official Clippers office to get their work done, nice!). Although we could not squeeze me in for last minute cleaning, I was able to do a quick exam on my teeth and mentioned my crowns were in good condition, nothing wrong with them (unlike the previous office I visited earlier this year) I can confidently say I have found a great office to come back to for a future cleaning.

I am a long time customer and am always welcomed with friendly faces. I went in for tooth bonding the other day, the process was very quick, painless, and my tooth looked new as ever afterwards. The office bares highly trained professionals and they are even understanding when running late; the front desk staff is very accommodating, considering this crazy LA traffic.

Dr. Laska and staff are great. I have been going to them for over 10 years. The near by parking is a little expensive if you can't find street meter parking and the building surrounding their office needs a little cosmedic updating. But the important thing is their great quality service. Thanks

Great staff. They are super busy but organized. Was able to make an appointment within a couple weeks. They were able to contact my insurance within minutes so I can get a procedure done the same day. Doctor and staff are super friendly. Thanks again!

My go to dental office. I enjoy the knowledgeable dental/ hygienist staff. I routinely go for any issues i may have and i feel super comfortable here., Dr. Laska is a kind and true professional.

I have been coming to Dr. Laska's office since I was a kid and him and his staff have always been great! They are always very friendly and accommodating. I am not the biggest fan of getting dental work done, but Dr. Laska makes it the easiest possible. He's always very professional and informative. Would not want to go anywhere else.

I have been coming to Dr. Laska's Dentistry since 2011. I have not dealt with any other denstist since! As many people will say going to the dentist is their least favorite activity.mine as well, however every time I come here I feel real relaxed and comfortable. The staff here is very courteous and professional. Whenever dealing with the staff in particular Madeline I leave fully informed of the procedures being done as well as anything my insurance does and does not cover. Dealing with their great customer service has kept me a loyal patient.

I had work done here a few times. Though they did help with convenient payment options, the work done on my tooth was not successful. I was given a lot of attitude when I went back in to let the doctors know that I was still feeling pain on the tooth they worked on. I was met with a lot of aggression. Years passed, as I suffered with the infection coming back.

I then went to another dentist (about a month ago), and they informed me that the previous procedure was not done correctly. A nerve was left untouched from the previous root canal, along with the cement like substance they use to fill the tooth still not being 100% set. I'm very please I ended up going to another dentist to get the tooth re-treated. Again, aside from the helpful financial options, this place was not a good experience.

All of the staff are caring, professional, and go out of their way to ensure that your experience is a great one! I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Laska and his staff! They are professional, and really care about my health and happiness. Working with Dr. Laska and his staff is always a pleasant experience! They are great about working with my busy schedule and they always follow up with sincerity and thoughtfulness after my family's procedures. I greatly recommend Dr. Laska

I Love this place. They make you feel so welcome. I could not feel better then coming to this place. It might sound crazy but I drive from Palmdale to L.A just for this location because they are awesome. I will recommend it to anyone and I assure that you would love it too. They are on top of their patients and always looking to help. Madelyn is Awesome and the whole crew. Doctor is the best too.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Mark Laska. Upon arrival, I was immediately presented with information regarding my appointment and what all would occur during my visit, along with the associated costs. I absolutely love the transparency provided by this office, considering the fact that I came with no information regarding my insurance. The ladies at the front assisted with that thank you.

After a very brief wait in a clean and lovely waiting room, I was brought back for my exam. The Filipina was incredible getting me through the X-ray portion (my least favorite part of any dental visit). Not the fastest x-ray but she was loving, friendly and kind. Afterwards, Dr. Laska walked me through the X-rays and helped explain what my dental problems are, which included information I was previously aware of, and new information that was discovered during this visit.

He also has great associates like the orthodontic Dr. Audrey Yoon who is amazing! the hygienist was very informative and I appreciated the chastisement for not caring for my teeth, the deep cleaning was one of the best I've ever received, and in a timely manner finished up the cleaning process, then they walked me through my proposed treatment plan (and associated costs) and set up my forthcoming visits.

I have an upcoming procedure soon which I will come back to review. Until then, I will say that I am more than satisfied with the bedside manner of everyone I came into contact with at mid-Wilshire dentistry. I hope to make this my dental home for many years to come!

I've been here a handful of times & I always hope it'll be better. I'm just going to switch dentists. When I told them this, they didn't try to do anything to rectify the upset. I wasn't the only one upset in the office, there was another girl frustrated because she'd had to make several appointments for the same thing & they just never got to her & she had to keep being rescheduled.

The office & facilities look run down, which made me uncomfortable from the first visit. Also, why give appointment times if you're going to run 90 minutes late? I'm sorry, but when someone is taking the time to travel to & from your office & they are on time, it is out of integrity to tell them they'll have to wait 90 minutes from their appointment time for a simple cleaning. Today they were pushing extra services before even looking in my mouth to see what was going on.

Dr. Laska and his team has provide my family and myself with the most excellent service. From extractions to cleaning have been superb. Highly recommend this office from any type of dental treatments. I was in there office this morning and again outstanding service was provided for my teeth cleaning. I was in and out within an half hour.

2 hours for just an exam! And they want you to come back for a cleaning?! I've never experienced them not happening at the same time. It is 11 A.M. and I am just now walking out of this doctors and I went in at 9 A.M.! (Arrived at 8:53- completed most paperwork at home) I was one of the First appointments of the day bc they open at 9 A.M.! There were other patients but it wasn't even that busy!

All I wanted was an exam and cleaning. I've never been to a dentist where it wasn't standard to do both at the same time! When I called and told them I was a new patient they should have informed me that I would need to schedule a cleaning separately, but they didn't bc they want you to pay for the deep cleaning! What a scam! They recommended me a deep cleaning which I kinda get coming back for, but they said even for a regular cleaning I would have to come back later in the day! What the heck! DO NOT COME HERE!

Thank you dr Laska! I chipped my tooth while eating and came to the office to fix it. They took me in right on time and dr recommended to have the tooth filed a little bit. It looks perfect now;

Ha, it takes a lot for me to sit down and think "hey, I should write a yelp review for that dentist." I found out about Dr. Laska through my ex. she came home one day after getting her teeth cleaned and she looked like a different human. It stuck with me so much, I actually called her a year after we broke up to find out her dentist's name (don't judge, don't judge, I know, I know).

I was hoping this guy's office could work the same magic on me, and he did! Gross stuff on teeth, completely 100% gone. I can't stop smiling in the mirror and running my tongue over my teeth. Reasonable prices, didn't try to push any services on me, friendly flexible schedulers, no complaints.

Dr. Yoon is an amazing dentist! I happen to work next door to him and was in need for check up. He is very knowledgable and is up to date with all the new techniques in his field. I needed a crown and extractions of my 4 wisdom teeth. He was great! I was really scared to pull my wisdom teeth but he assured me everything would be okay. It literally took about 20 to 30 minutes for the extraction. I was in awe how easy it was! He is definitely my dentist from here on out. His staff is also amazing! I would totally recommend Dr. Yoon

My overall experience was a good one. I always look forward to a teeth cleaning because I love that feeling of a clean mouth, also I generally bleach my teeth the same week after each cleaning. I admit that I was slacking a bit and neglecting my teeth, so this appointment definitely got me back on track. After my x-rays and exam, the hygenist performed a thorough cleaning.

She did a bit more scraping than I would have liked, but that's my fault for being lazy with my flossing and brushing. The polishing she did was the icing on the cake. I left the their office with a clean mouth and it's such a great feeling. Definitely give this office a try.
