The best way to keep your smile healthy is to prevent the issues that threaten it, and we offer a variety of preventive dentistry services to do just that. As advanced as dental healthcare has become over the last several decades, one thing remains the same - prevention is the best medicine. Because of access to care and advances in oral healthcare, many people are keeping their natural teeth for life, instead of needing dentures in their later years. We think this is absolutely fantastic! And we want to help you and your family maintain healthy smiles for a lifetime.
You probably see your general practitioner for annual checkups in an effort to remain healthy and also to deter potential health problems. Just like bodily health, oral health requires regular maintenance. In accordance with American Dental Association recommendations, Dr. Young and our hygienists want to see their patients every six months for checkups and cleanings to keep their teeth healthy, strong, and beautiful.
