Merrimack Valley Endodontics is an endodontic care practice, dedicated to performing high quality endodontic treatment. Services
All dentists, including your general dentist, received training in endodontic treatment in dental school. General dentists can perform endodontic procedures along with other procedures but often they refer patients needing endodontic treatment to endodontists. Endodontists are dentists with special training in endodontic procedures.

As a courtesy to our patients with other dental insurances, we will contact your insurance company to verify coverage.
It is normal for a treated tooth to be sensitive, especially to biting and pressure for about one week following root canal therapy. Additionally, it may continue to feel different from the surrounding teeth for several weeks. Whenever possible, please avoid chewing hard foods or biting strongly on the treated tooth during the healing phase.

I had a root canal performed by Dr. Gilad Dr. Gilad was extremely knowledgeable, competent and kind. He also took extra measures to ensure I did not experience any pain during the procedure. My last root canal was over 30 years ago and required 2 visits. It's amazing how the technology has changed. The entire procedure was completed in less than an hour.

Date of review 7-25-2019 On 6-24-2019 Dr Jack Gilad performed a root canal on me. I've never had one before. I am Very disappointed and concerned! From this procedure it has either Caused or triggered something where I get terrible pain in opening my mouth. I have called several times and returned Twice! I am Not confident they can even diagnose what is wrong with my mouth. I have barely even heard back from them - A Month later! I wish I had Not gone and do Not plan to return! Scott.

I came in today for my first RCT. I was treated by Dr. Carter, who was very pleasant and explained everything to me step by step. I felt at ease throughout the entire painless procedure. The front desk staff and dental assistant were also very helpful and pleasant. This is in addition to the very clean and well maintained clinic. Will definitely be recommending this practice to anyone who needs a RCT.

All the docs at Merrimack Valley Endodontics are top of the line. They have found things in my mouth that several other dentists have failed to find & fixed them quickly & efficiently with no pain or discomfort. I always tell people that they saved my life by finding an infection that no one else could find. I go there first now whenever anything doesn't seem right. They are truly the best.

I made a call for an emergency root canal procedure. MVE was able to book me on the same day and everyone was very accommodating. Doctor Carter, Katie and the rest of the staff made me feel so comfortable, and the procedure was quick and nowhere near as scary as I had imagined. I will recommend them to anyone I know that needs this service! Thank you Dr. Carter!
