Debating writing this review, but the experience was so bad. Apparently the dental practice was purchased and Doctor McGraw retired. Never heard anything about it and showed up for an appointment to a completely new staff including office managers, hygienists, and dentist. The dentist informed me I needed a bunch of work done for gum recession that happened during pregnancy and I needed to make two appointments to take care of it separately for each side.

During the first appointment I received numbing and Novacaine because my teeth needed to be filed down and repaired. The dentist seemed very agitated and in a hurry and proceeded prior to my mouth even being numb. When I indicated it was extremely painful he was not very happy about waiting or providing more numbing medicine. I left very sore and in pain.

The next appointment required less work and he told me that numbing would not be necessary. He started drilling my tooth which was excruciatingly painful. He did end up giving some medicine but overall it was an absolutely terrible experience and now I am looking for a new dentist.

The practice is not the same. The new partnership that took over in November does not treat their patients well. It is about money, insurance and not patients. Customer service needs work. The gap between what we s clinically necessary and what they say you need is huge.

Used Dr Bellanca for over 25 years. When he retired the business just got worse and worse. Went yesterday for a cleaning, all of a sudden the new dr said I need ton of work and wanted to charge me over $1000? Never had that before and I go every 6 months. The only good thing there is the hygienists. They have always been good. So disappointed. Looking for a new dentist.

My mother made an appointment for me. I was in the room and heard her tell Serena the office manager three times that she had a disability. My mom goes through enough as a person with disabilities. All she needs is kindness and when my mother said said she felt discriminated against, the office manager hung up. I am now looking for a dentist too.

Zero stars Office person, Ceire is one rude person! She probably don't know what she doing and lied on her resume! She didn't listen to my cousin requesting something. She hung up on us. Didn't listen! How can local people be so rude? So unprofessional! They don't care once they get paid!

Prior to covid, my family and I came to this dental office with good experiences. However, it seems the new management is not the same and the facilities are aging (the waiting room is filthy mess!) The dental assistant was rude and didn't seem to know how to speak to people from the start (she awkwardly pointed a thermometer at my face and then said, "I am just going to take you temperature." No hello. Whatever.) There was other communication lacking any sort of common manners after that, but the worst was her awful tactics for taking X-rays.

Right off the bat, she cut the back of my mouth, and she never said sorry or even seemed to care! She continued to be rude and insist that I hold my head higher while her placement of the equipment was causing pain. I finally had enough, so I left! I have never had such a nightmare experience for X-rays or in any medical office before. There was no way that I was going to allow this person to touch my teeth! She obviously didn't care how I felt. Also, the front desk never returned my calls afterwards. My mouth will recover but I will never set foot in that place again.

My family and I were on vacation in Oahu when our daughter's existing filling fell out and was causing tremendous pain. We called over 30 offices for this emergency and out of all of those this office was the ONLY one who made accommodations and were super nice when getting us in. From the front desk, to assistant to the Dr everyone was so friendly which is very comforting when we are bringing our 9 year old in.

They took necessary X-rays and redid her filling while walking her and I through each step. Our daughter has a HUGE dental phobia and she was impressed by how friendly Dr. Brandon was with her she didn't even move to the injection. Sad that this visit was an emergency visit while on vacation because this would definitely be an office my family & I would come back to.

I forgot to get my hygienists name, but she was so gentle, thorough, and professional! Hadn't been to the dentist in 4 years (yikes) and she put me totally at ease, as did the dentist. Thank you!

1. I came here to get a tooth pulled. The guy doing my extraction had my mouth pried open so wide and for so long that the entire corner of my mouth was ripped and bleeding when he was done. It turned into a huge scab. 2. I had to come on multiple occasions to fill cavities. The first time i came, they did a couple teeth and it was $20 with insurance.

The second time i came they did another couple teeth and my bill was $300+! When i questioned them about it, the woman said "oh, they put in white fillings but your insurance only covers silver fillings." So i asked why they would suddenly decide to use white fillings now on my second visit, knowing that my insurance wouldnt cover. She went in the back and came back and said theyll just charge me for silver.

No answer to why they put white in the first place. And weirdly, all of my appts after that-they used white fillings again. 3. My mom had a crown and the tooth underneath became exposed and infected and the entire side of her face became swollen. They made an appt to have her tooth removed and sent her home with pain meds/antibiotics. When she got to the pharmacy she got red flagged by the pharmacist because the prescription they gave her couldnt be taken with what she was already on!

She could have died if she wasnt notified of this. She told the dentist what meds she was already taking and they paid no attention to it. 4. Before her appt to have her tooth pulled, she called and left several messages to confirm that they would actually be doing the extraction on that date and nobody ever answered or called back. When she showed up for her appt, they told her they couldnt do it and she would have to find an oral surgeon.

She asked "havent you guys gotten any of the messages ive been leaving?" They said "ohh, you have to check with reception." Then when she asked if they could refer her somewhere they literally told her "we dont do that." They basically left my mother on her own with an infected tooth and if left untreated for too long could spread to her bone &kill her.

She had to call every office she could find and even those places asked why they wont send referrals. Luckily we found an oral surgeon and shes okay now. If someone shows up to your office with a swollen face, you do everything you can for them, not just sweep them out the fucking door. We will never be coming back here.

I enjoy my visit Dr. McGraw. He was very professional and the clinic was very clean. He was very helpful and he explained to the procedure. He checked on me during the procedure. His understanding and his compassion was outstanding during this procedure.

Thanks to Dr. Johnson a tooth she filled ended up needing a root canal! I knew something was up because it was constantly hurting! I will be contacting my insurance and seeing what can be done. She isn't experienced at all!

Our family has been seen by Dr. Bellanca and the team here since 2009. Dr. Bellanca has taken such good care of all four of us! Unfortunately, we have had several challenging situations arise and we received expert care! From a tooth breaking off on my sons front tooth to a very difficult extraction, Dr. Bellanca has the experience needed to handle these situations. We highly recommend him!

DO NOT GO HERE! There is a new dentist that is highly inexperienced and reckless! Careless would be an understatement. Then my concerns were met with denial and an absence of any attempt to rectify the situation. This practice was once a reputable establishment, but now they have either gone cocky or it's amateur hour.

I second that Rachel is an amazing dental hygienist. She was really gentle, thorough, and took her time. Overall, I had a fairly good experience and will return for dental cleanings. The receptionists could do a better job! They are fairly friendly, but do the minimum on their job. I called months ago to start the transition process to have them get xrays from my previous dentist.

One lady said she would send me an email with her email so I could tell my dentist where to send the xrays. For one, I have never had to do that myself with ANY other dentist office. I took care of it anyway but come today for my appointment and they did not yet get the xrays. So instead of just opting to take care of it, the receptionist, yet again, sends me to take care of it myself.

This time requesting to have my previous dentist send the xrays directly to my personal email so I can forward to the receptionist's email. How hard is the job that your patient has to do the work for you? Then they claim that my dental insurance does not cover dental cleanings when I have had the same insurance for years. Despite me informing them so and saying something must be incorrect, I had to get to the point if frustration before finally hearing the receptionist tell me they would handle it, which is what should have been done in the first place.

I'm still billed for the $600 root canal that I already paid, now my total out of pocket is $1,200. Mind you, we have dual coverage. HMSA, and HDS. Our initial estimate was $500+, which I still thought was high, but mister agreed to the work. The problem is, I'm having trouble getting someone to return my calls, this place is now Mililani Dental and they use a 3rd party vendor for their billing.

I wrote to them to help me understand why my bill for 1 single tooth is so high, still no call! They lost our family as customers. I refuse to be ripped off! SMH $1,200 for a single root canal. My next plan is to contact both insurance companies, but I was hoping to have a better understanding about the billing first.

I went here for a couple of years until Dt. Mcraw fired me for not being the perfect customer, after he removed my back bottom Molar that was very hard to get out. I was blown away. Just because I have fear of the dental office and do not do well when people are in your mouth, after the visit he sent me a letter and said he no longer wanted to work on me. I can't believe it and that he is doing so well that he didn't need customers. He has the worst bedside Manor and would not recommend him at all to anyone!

This is the best dental practice on the island. Dr. McGraw has been my Dentist for over 35 years. He is personable, experienced, efficient and knows how to deal with my dental needs. He has been our family dentist forever. Nicole, my hygienist, is the greatest. She is very friendly and I always enjoy my dental cleaning. Plus, the office staff are professional and always have great customer service.

I like that we always get a text as well as a phone reminder when our next appointment will be. Once again, I enjoy coming here to get my dental check-ups. Maybe you will, too.
