Raised in the Fiji Islands, Dr. Patel moved to Charlotte, NC in 1986 at the age of 10. While the transition to the United States was a challenging life moment initially, Dr. Patel embraced every opportunity this beautiful nation had to offer and never looked back. In 2000, Dr. Patel married his beautiful wife Shalini and they are blessed to have two wonderful children in Jaya and Jaidan.

Matthews Family Dentistry has been the most pleasant dentistry experience in my lifetime. Since moving away from the Matthews area, my family and I still travel 45 minutes to their office to have all of our cleanings and work. I've had Invisalign and regular cleanings in the past 5 years and Dr. Patel and Tiffany have brought my smile to perfection.
CEREC 3D is a new technology that is used to replace failing restorations, broken teeth and old mercury fillings with beautiful full porcelain fillings or crowns in just one visit. CEREC uses Computer Aided Design [CAD] and Computer Aided Manufacturing [CAM] technology, incorporating a camera, computer, and milling machine all in one instrument.

I love this place! Jennifer my hygienist was absolutely wonderful! She was very thorough, but gentle. My teeth feel so smooth, she really is a rare gem! Dr. Carver was super nice and easy going, not intimidating at all. I think this office is top notch and that's a lot coming from me (a former hygienist).

It was my first visit to Matthews Family Dentistry. They were very kind and helpful after I was Mistakenly late to an appointment. The staff was very friendly and courteous. My hygienist was very kind, thorough, and helpful. The dentist was very friendly, caring, and considerate. I would recommend Matthews Family Dentistry.
