I came to Mashouf Orthodontics after having a negative experience with a previous provider. I chose this place because of its 5-star rating on Yelp, and I was not disappointed. In fact, my experience at Mashouf Orthodontics was everything I was looking for: expert consultation and opinions on my treatment from start to finish, and great communication/ease when it comes to making appointments.

I was under the care of Dr. Mashouf and Dr. Kayhan. They collaborated to create the best treatment plan according to my desired outcome and their expertise on how to get there. Additionally, the front desk staff were consistently professional and helpful. I want to underscore that I was an adult patient, and my mother is also (currently) a patient here.

They have treated her with the utmost care, and I'm so grateful. One of my favorite things about Mashouf Orthodontics' approach to orthodontic treatment is that they don't promote the unnecessary removal of teeth (i.e. invasive procedures) in order to hasten the moving of teeth. They prioritize working with what you have to give you the most *natural* looking smile! Getting braces with Mashouf Orthodontics was worth every last dime -- so glad I did it!

If you're looking for an orthodontist in the South Bay, look no further. I had consultations with a couple orthodontists before deciding on Mashouf Orthodontics and I am so glad I did! The thing that struck me right away was how kind and genuine Dr. Kayhan and the rest of the team were. During my consultation, we discussed my treatment goals and the different options for getting the results I wanted. Dr. Kayhan is incredibly knowledgeable and he clearly has a passion for orthodontics.

I decided to get InBrace lingual braces, which are brackets mounted behind the teeth with a "smart wire" that slowly moves your teeth. Some high-tech stuff! I hadn't heard of this type of lingual braces before, but after discussing with Dr. Kayhan I was super excited to start my treatment. After a little over a year, I could not be happier with the end result!

We were referred to Mashouf Orthodontics by close friends who loved their friendly, professional doctors. Our experience with Mashouf has been awesome. Every visit was smooth and my daughter was comfortable with all of the doctors, assistants and staff. Overall, the results were successful.

Dr Mashouf (X2) are the "Masters of Orthodontics" who have been simply wonderful from the very first visit my son had with them. The entire staff is really nice and WOW are they meticulous about their work. Seriously Mom & Dad's, this is THE PLACE!

I came to Mashouf Orthodontics as a kid for my braces, where they always made us feel welcome & made the process as fun as possible. Teeth straightening is a painful process, but they always had fun flavors for molds and band colors to pick from to make the process a little easier. Dr Mashouf is a great doctor and the entire staff is polite and super organized.

Many years later I moved back to the South Bay, and by that time I had misplaced my retainer for a period of time so that when I found it again it no longer fit. I was able to take the retainer to Dr Mashouf's office where his son (now also an orthodontist) was able to adjust the old retainer to fit my mouth again. This easily saved me $150+ so I wouldn't have to get a brand-new retainer. Really appreciate them helping an old patient!

Highly recommend! Wonderful staff, warm and friendly. The Mashouf's are the best! My daughter's treatment took around 3 yrs but the results were amazing. She had a huge overbite, crowded and crooked teeth. The whole process was extremely smooth. I am very very happy with the final results. It was my first dental experience in bay area after moving here. Even though my case was a very unique case, they handled it very well. Dr. Kayhan is so nice and the receptionist Emelia is also very nice!

Mashouf Orthodontics is great! They are very friendly and very organized. I had Invisalign for a year and a half and I never had a negative expierence. I had a pretty complicated case that surgery usually addresses and the team here were able to pull off surgical results with Invisalign and Temporary Anchorage Devices (which are basically screws that are placed into bone). Overall I am highly impressed with the whole process. Thanks!

Let me start by saying Dr. K and staff are wonderful, very welcoming and the office is clean. I have moderate anxiety and they work with me through it all. I truly am so thankful to have such a great experience every time I go there. Dr K is down to earth and very understanding which is a big plus for me. He explains the process of everything he will do before he does it, no surprises. Going to the office is only 5 minutes away and there are plenty of parking.

I had a great experience at Mashouf Orthodontics with Dr. Shannon, Dr. Kayhan and Kara. What stood out to me on my first consultation (and continued through my other many visits) was how kind and patient the team is and also how they really care about you and listen. This made me confident I was in the right hands. I never felt rushed or confused throughout the process which is something I really appreciated.

The team was also incredibly accommodating to my unique timeline (my wedding was towards the end of my treatment) and location (when I moved towards the end of my treatment, the team sent me my last retainer so i didn't have to drive 2 hrs). Last but definitely not least, the results from my Invisalign / underbite correction at Mashouf FAR exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier.

This review is way overdue. I visited Mashouf orthodontics to fix a crooked tooth I had since childhood that made it look like I had a gap in my teeth. The staff had been so friendly and organized and Dr Mashouf is so patient and explains the procedure in detail. Nearly 25 yrs ago Dr. Mashouf Sr. Did my braces for me and my teeth still look as great and as natural looking as ever! When my daughter Elexa turned 11, there was no other place i could trust more to take her to for her braces than the office of Dr. Mashouf which is locally and conveniently is 2 mints from our home in the heart of Willow Glen, San Jose.

This time around, Dr. Mashouf Sr. and his beloved son Dr. Mashouf Jr. and crew took care of Elexa and yesterday Elexa took her braces off! Cant tell u how great her teeth look! This journey has been perfect. Convenient location, super friendly staff, amazing doctors! Great service! We have recommended Dr. Mashouf's office to our friends and family and many of them already started their journey and many have finished and moved on! I can not recommend Mashouf more highly. Kind, honest and very professional. I came with trauma from previous dentistry experiences. But I could not have wished for a better experience. Both my son and I have been with Mashouf through braces and Invisalign. The results for both of us are fantastic. Personally I feel much more confident with my new smile. If you are considering having orthodontic work, you cannot go wrong with Mashouf. It feels like you become part of a family!

I have now had two kids go through braces at Mashouf Orthodontics and I could not be happier with our experience over the past many years. I actually told my youngest child today that I was sad she was getting her braces off because it meant we wouldn't be visiting the office as much anymore! I am a big fan of Dr. Mashouf's office. Both of my girls see the younger Dr. Mashouf (we call him Dr. Kayhan) for their regular visits. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging to the girls. All of the staff have gotten to know our family on a personal level and come out to greet us before/after they work on the girls. My girls are 8 and 9, and like that they get to sign themselves in on the computer, go back to get their adjustments all by themselves (although parents are welcome to go back with them, it makes my girls feel more grown up to go without me), and pick their band colors.this is way more fun than when I had braces as a teen!

There is an incentive program to encourage good oral hygiene. Since I do not go sit with the girls, Dr. Kayhan always comes out to let me know how it went, see if I have any questions, and let me know what we need to monitor or help out with until the next visit. We have a really good insurance plan but for the balance that insurance does not cover, the office worked with us to set up a payment plan and offered a discount to pay up front.

We decided to do monthly auto-drafts to maximize our health flex benefits. Scheduling has been easy.they reserve after school slots for the routine adjustments which is nice because you don't have to sign your kids out of school every few weeks. The flip side to this is that on the day you get your braces on, you have to come in the morning, but rather the one time than every time.

We've had a few "emergency" visits to fix broken wire or loose bracket and they were able to get us in the day we called. We love all the girls in the office, but Kara at the front desk is the best! Always friendly, professional, and fun to chat with. They recently renovated the office and there are plenty of magazines, books, and seating in the waiting area.

The office and staff are absolutely AMAZING! I was referred to them by my dentist to begin treatment on my then 10 year old son for braces. The treatment was about 3 years or so and the results were well worth it! We are overjoyed with the confidence my son has gained from his perfect smile. Dr. Kayhan is such a pleasure and joy to work with. He is very knowledgeable and friendly- he always managed to have enjoyable conversation with my son.

Both my husband and I were very happy with him. I was so impressed with Kara at the front desk, she is so sharp on remembering all the patients, she ALWAYS greeted us with a friendly smile and positive attitude. Also, Emelia, the financial coordinator was so helpful and easy to work with. They're great on sending you reminders. I honestly couldn't have chosen a better place to take take my son.

We love everyone at Mashouf Orthodontics! It's a family business and we usually see Dr K (the son). He's very friendly and warm and my daughter feels very comfortable with him. All the staff have been great. Plus they run on time, yay! No long waits - in and out! Also ample parking in the back which is an added bonus. Braces here are also more affordable than one would think.

They make it really easy to combine insurance with monthly auto debit payments. I should also mention that kids can earn points for good oral hygiene that they can redeem for prizes (legos, phone cases, headbands, games, etc), which of course they enjoy. 5 Stars all the way :)

I started my teeth correction treatment almost two years ago. My teeth were crooked, crowded, and my bite was off. However, all the doctors at Mashouf Orthodontics have been completely amazing in straightening my teeth. They made sure to never rush the treatment and always use the right method to ensure I would love my teeth, and I do! I highly recommend going to Mashouf Orthodontics for anyone who wants to never stop smiling!

Best place I know of for children's braces in Silicon Valley. Unlike many other offices, this office won't pull some teeth out to do braces. Thank you Dr. Mashouf for your excellency.

Dr. Kayhan and his staff are amazing! Excellent customer service, always on time, and a very friendly and professional bedside manner. Mashouf Orthodontics was out of network for me, however given the strong recommendation and feedback of others I didn't want to go anywhere else, and I'm glad I didn't. Getting double jaw surgery to correct my breathing issues and sleeping disorder is a very big decision and proper pre and post orthodontic care is extremely important for a successful result. I'm currently still in the pre-surgery phase but have the utmost confidence in Dr. Kayhan, and am extremely grateful for him connecting me to my maxofillofacial surgeon. We just began our 11th month of treatment for my teenager's braces, and we couldn't be happier. Kara at the front desk is so welcoming and kind when we arrive and during the visit. Dr Mashouf really connects with my daughter and finds interests they have in common. He has not treated her aggressively like other orthodontists wanted to, and she feels very safe and comfortable with this practice. Her teeth are moving into place, and she is in track to get her braces off after 24 months. We were referred here by a neighbor, and we couldn't be happier!

The orthodontic experience with the office of Dr. Cameron Mashouf has been truly wonderful. The staff is welcoming, warm and generous. The doctors and assistants are knowledgeable and personable. We had help dealing with insurance and Flexible Spending claims as well as excellent orthodontic care. Our son was extremely nervous in the beginning of all the activities and procedures.
