Dr. Bryant and her staff were wonderful. As a professional dentist phobe, I have always been fearful of dental proceedures. I needed a crown and I have had many in my life. I have never been so comfortable during a dental visit. I didn't feel the novacaine and almost fell asleep while they were working on me. I was very pleased with the process and happy with the crown.( as it was a front tooth). I would highly recommend Bolton Family Dental and Dr. Bryant.

I went in for a simple cleaning as a new patient, as my old dentist is in Boston and I'm not going into the city anymore due to covid. I was told here that I needed some type of special xray and that I hadn't had this done since 2010. My last xray was a year or two ago, but apparently that kind wasn't the kind that they required. I told them I had a severe gag reflex with dental xrays and would prefer not to do that xray that day to avoid vomiting and could I just do the cleaning today and come back to do the xray at a later time when I had an empty stomach?

I was told absolutely not by the dentist, and the hygenist made a joke about vomit being okay because they wore special shoes (?) and that even kids did this xray without gag issues. Thanks for making me feel humiliated about something I can't control. I had no other choice but to leave without doing the cleaning since they wouldn't agree to it without an xray. Will be looking for another dentist office that is more understanding, flexible and compassionate.
