J, was born at Redlands Community Hospital and raised in Yucaipa, CA. Where he now lives with his wife, Teresa and five children, Cecilia, Petey, River, Justice, Jason and his puppy Titan. Dr. J's hobbies include reading, playing his XBOX, rooting for the San Diego Chargers, golfing and especially spending time with his family, children and his extended family in Yucaipa. I grew up locally, in Redlands. For the past ten years I've lived in Beaumont with my wife, best friend, and the love of my life.
For more information concerning pediatric dentistry, please visit the website for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends an orthodontic screening for children by the age of 7 years. At age 7 the teeth and jaws are developed enough so that the dentist or orthodontist can see if there will be any serious bite problems in the future. Most of the time treatment is not necessary at age 7, but it gives the parents and dentist time to watch the development of the patient and decide on the best mode of treatment. When you have time on your side you can plan ahead and prevent the formation of serious problems.
Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

This office is trained to lie to the kids and the parents about what will happen to them during certain procedures. They will not tell you or the kids that they will get a shot when going in for a cavity fill. They literally never give you full information. My kids' friend had the same experience, and was absolutely traumatized. I would never ever recommend this dental office.

We had been going to Little Smiles in the past but due to insurance we had to switch to another dentist for some time and that was not pleasant. Thankfully our entire family has been back for a few years now and we love them. I appreciate the fact that we can all go to the same place for our services. The entire staff has always been very kind and professional and has eased my child's fear of the dentist. We are always greeted with a smile and they are always on time. We love them all!

Excellent staff and dentist! Everyone is nice and professional. I take both of my kids here and feel they are cared for very well. Kids like the "forest" atmosphere.

Absolutely love this Dentist office! So kid friendly! My 4 year old loves getting her picture taken for the cavity free club and watching tv while she gets a cleaning is a plus! The staff is so friendly and accommodating, very easy to book appointments. The Dentist and dental hygienists all take their time and listen to concerns the parents or children have. Over all a great place and atmosphere

This was our family dentist. I scheduled myself and the kids one week and then my husband the week after. I took the kids in and was told that they each had a small cavity that we could either fill or put a "patch" on and watch for 6 months. Since these were baby teeth, I agreed as long as it was covered by insurance. They checked and assured me it was 100% covered and they could do it right away.

The minor procedure was done on both kids. The following week, when my husband arrived for his appointment, he was told that there was a balance on our account of $163.00 and would he like to pay that off. He agreed and then asked me why I didn't pay the dentist. I assured him that there was no balance remaining and that everything was covered by insurance.

The office staff then told him that the procedure in fact was not covered and we needed to pay out of pocket. I would not have done this the month before Christmas if I knew it was not covered. I find it appalling that no one from the office reached out to me to let me know that they made a mistake, they just hit my husband up for an overdue balance. Very unprofessional, as I feel a call would have been more than appropriate to explain their mistake

We received terrible, negligent service. The office person, Emerald is a lying witch with a capital b. If you're into being rescheduled due to no fault of your own, and not receiving accurate quotes (by Emerald) or not receiving doctor services as promised, then definitely go here. Otherwise.run from this place. They treat their wallets before their patients. Terrible, unethical service here.

Never have had such an accusatory experience with a dentist and had to advocate for my child's care.

This place will steal your money stay away stay away pick another place for your kids to get their dental work done the kids to get their dental work done they d us $900 for anesthesia $900 for annethesiologist It's a cavity in my 8 year old's mouth on on top of that they were going to charge to fix the cavity to the urge to fix the cavity to the insurance as well for some odd reason for some odd reason they don't like to charge for the anestheology for the anestheologist through the insurance seems very shady seems very shady to me.

I know it might be convenient for you to get your kids your kids teeth cleaned here because it's local to you is it because it's local to Yucaipa but trust me it's me and the long run they may cause more harm than may cause more harm than good to your children.

My kids love coming to the dentist, even after one has had a filling. I think that says a lot! We feel very blessed to have a great dental office like yours treating us.

My 4 year old daughter received her dental treatment yesterday and had to go under anesthesia. I've never experience anesthesia myself or been witness to someone undergoing it so I was feeling really anxious about the whole thing, but the staff was absolutely amazing! The environment felt so welcoming and I loved the way every receptionist, hygienist, and assistant greeted my daughter and made her feel special.

Even Dr Jimenez was so nice and comforting towards my baby girl. Unfortunately, my daughter was still absolutely terrified once the procedure began, but luckily the anesthesiologist, Dr Jane, was amazing and very professional. They kept me updated throughout the whole process and once my daughter was home and fully awake from her nap she was back to her normal self. I'm so glad I found this place! Thank you Little Smiles for everything that you do for the kiddos!

I was very pleased with my daughters' visit to Little Smiles. She had to get anesthesia to complete her treatment. My wife and I were very scared because she is 3 years old and we're unfamiliar with that process. Dr. Jimenez and staff were amazing at explaining everything at every step of the way. While my daughter was under they updated us to let me know she was doing great. They eased all our worries and our daughter is recovering great.

I took our 2 year old in for her first visit. Yea I know she should have been in a long time ago but due to Covid I was one of those terrified parents who didn't want to go near any kind of medical building. Due to my stupidity my daughters teeth suffered. We have a hereditary condition in our family that causes teeth to decay more easily than normal.

Our oldest daughter got lucky and had zero problems with her teeth. Our middle daughter needed caps on 4 front teeth and has hood dental health now. Our 2 year old unfortunately will not be able to have caps on her 4 front teeth. They will need to be extracted and she will need to have "implants" until her adult teeth come in. While I was shocked by the treatment needed even though I knew it was going to be bad Dr. J was great with my little girl. Jasmine and all of the other girls were amazing and very patient with her.

They made it fun for her and made her feel very comfortable and safe. Covid-19 protocol was present. We had our temps checked when we were called to come inside. We we more than 6 feet from the one other patient inside. Everything was clean. I am impressed. Extremely nervous about her treatment plan but it's what's best for her then that's all I care about.
