You see, I love being a dentist. Not because it's my job - which of course is nice - but because I have a daily opportunity to make someone smile. I see all kinds of people, from kids who have super-healthy teeth, to people who have a whole lot of dental problems. And while I wish I could prevent every dental problem instead of treating it, sometimes I also enjoy putting on my engineer/artist cap and getting down to the business of bringing a smile back, well, pretty much from the dead.So, no matter where you live in Central PA, or what you need, my team and I are here for you, to make you comfortable, get you healthy, and keep you smiling.

I am so proud of my team. I honestly believe that you won't find smarter, more charming, or more passionate dental people anywhere. And I should know. I have met a lot of them. Sure those other teams are nice, but mine is world-class. And skilled. And lots of fun! Taylor is a graduate of Sun Area Technical Institute and has been working in dentistry for over a decade.
Let me just cut to the chase: If you want to be healthy in general, you have to have a healthy mouth, and prevention is the best medicine. My team and I do all we can to prevent and stop oral health problems while they are still very small and easily addressed. While I do have most of my hair, some people have been known to question what's under it. I guess since I did graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, there must be something up there. I actually got good grades. When I decided to open my practice here in Central PA, I did it with one clear goal in mind - to provide my friends and neighbors with advanced dentistry in a comfortable, relaxed environment. I honestly wanted to be the best. Not bragging; I just never want to compromise on the care I give my patients.

The atmosphere at Union Dental is very relaxing. They were all very nice and very compassionate. They took their time, asked me how I was doing repeatedly, and made sure I understood what they were doing every step of the way! A very good experience from walking in the door until I left with a temporary crown!

The front staff is amazing, they are always extremely polite and greet you with smiles. The staff behind are also pleasant. I have to say I wish I felt more comfortable with the Dentist but I can't. I didn't feel like my worries were taken into consideration when I questioned why my mouth was still sore, so I will wait another month or so to see if the discomfort goes away. Hopefully I won't need to get a second opinion.

Everyone from the receptionists to the hygienists to Dr. Chitkara are terrific! I especially appreciate that Dr. Chitkara walks into the room and greets me with my name.instead of just a hello : I have very sensitive teeth from nighttime grinding/clenching, and the team was super helpful in getting me squared away with restorations of a couple of recessed areas on my teeth as well as a night guard.
We don't use dental insurance, so procedures/visits seem expensive, but I have not done much comparing in the surrounding area. However, the location and the people make it all worth it. Thank you Union Dental!

Everyone at Union Dental was so nice and friendly. The dentist was very professional and had me in and out in no time. I haven't been to the dentist in 5 years so this was my first visit in 5 years and to a new dentist but I am now going to be a regular here! I highly recommend them and will shout it from the mountain top to anyone who needs an Amazing Dentist!
