Lago Dental Center

They didn't want to deal with my son's tooth pull and referred me to a dentist that is 20 miles away. They didn't even offer a true exam or take X-rays. Seems like they're more worried about billing Insurance and judging people more than taking care of patients. I spent 1.2k on a couple baby teeth at their referral which apparently also rips people off.

Dr Bonny is amazing. She's a great dentist and is extremely knowledgeable how to treat patients. She's through, very kind and professional. The entire staff are friendly and helpful. You feel like your being taken care of by family.

Dr. Bonnie has always been very kind and nice to me. The customer service is good and my hygienist is awesome! ( Thank you Kristen N!), I have been used their services for about 5 years now. Thank you!

My husband and I LOVE Bonnie. The customer service is amazing! Bonnie has been our dentist for 6 yrs now. We choose her because she is not only extremely knowledgeable in her field but she also a veteran!

Dr. Bonny and her staff are more than AMAZING! I'm TERRIFIED of the dentist our first visit was for a cleaning I had a terrible experience at a dentist in Austin. So after a year of not find a dentist that understood my anxiety, a coworker told me about Lago Dental Center and Dr. Bonny. I was not able to get the cleaning that day due to my blood pressure from the anxiety.

She sat with me for what must over been over an hour! Talking to me actually LISTENING to my concerns! (Which in today's world is rare) I just had A LOT of work done in one session and let me tell you I hugged her so tightly and could NOT thank not only her but also her AMAZING staff they are so kind a friendly but mostly understanding and try to make you as comfortable as you can be. I would recommend her to ANYONE! It's a long drive for me but the compassion they showed me is worth more than words and the long drive!

I've been intending to give a shout out to Dr. Bonny and her staff for being so uplifting and caring while I was getting dental work done these last two weeks. I'm so glad I decided to keep the business local which benefits our community and I'm so glad I did because she's one of the best dentists I've had in a while. She's extremely knowledgeable and is extremely light-handed! I will definitely return if any other dental problems arise! I guess I should mention she crowned a tooth and redid a filling. V.D. I was clear with the dentist that I have dental phobia and I will not take oral sedative medications, specifically benzodiazapines, because of the side effects of those medications (suicidal ideations). Nitrous oxide works just fine with me, if it is applied quickly enough, and facilitates my ability to withstand the intense fear of going to the dentist.

The receptionist told me that the dentist will not use nitrous oxide with me and instead wants to give me oral sedation for teeth cleaning. It is unbelievable to me that the patient tells the facility their medical requirements and they're like, I don't care what you told me, I'm the Dentist! You couldn't get me within ten feet of this office. Buyer beware!

I want to Thank Dr. Bonnie and her team I had a swollen face due to a abscess.i had never been to their office but the got me in ASAP and took care of me. Their so gentle and caring. Dr. Bonnie listens to your concerns and helps you make a good plan. So glad to have found them. Thank you all!

Good dentist and we are lucky to have them in Lago. I am shocked by the bad reviews. For one most general dentist do not pull teeth, they refer that to an oral surgeon. So giving the doc a bad review for that is like blasting a knee surgeon because he wont perform a shoulder surgery. And blasting for not using nitros, well that is a major cost for a dentist and involves more gov oversight that most do not want to deal with.

Dr Bonnie is very good, caring, and not overly expensive. She is very passionate about the highest level of dentistry, state of the art equipment and her patients needs, requests. Her staff is very passionate for the patients care. Amazing!

I've lived all over the country these past six decades and have logged many hours in numerous chairs with my mouth open. Dr. Bonnie is the best dentist I've ever had--she's an obvious master of the profession and an artist who loves her work. FANTASTIC!

I want to begin this post by saying that I really WANTED to like this place. I will be living in Lago Vista for the next couple of years, and was hoping that I could find a quality dental practice within driving distance of my house. Setting up the initial appointment was no problem, and I was able to get in the next day. When I showed up for my appointment, I was informed of two things that were not communicated over the phone. First, the initial appointment would take two hours. Second, the doctor I had originally come to see was out of the office.

In addition to this: *The dental staff was late getting back from lunch. I work on a tight schedule and I expect my clinicians to do the same. *The first thing the dental assistant said when she walked in the door after lunch was: "Ick, I feel super nauseous. Gross." This is the women who is about to have her hands in my mouth. For those who are unfamiliar with good clinical practice, this is totally unacceptable.

If I ran that clinic and saw the way she interacted, I would have a stern discussion with her right then and there. *People like myself look up reviews and investigate clinicians. When the dental assistant says, "I'm sure they told you the doctor is out and you will be seeing someone else, " this bothers me on a couple of levels. Long story short, I'm sure plenty of people have had a good experience at this place. Unfortunately, I was not one of them.

The clinical environment looks dingy and unkempt, the staff was late and unprofessional, the appointment time was never communicated to me so I could plan accordingly, standards of clinical practice were lax, the doctors were switched at the last minute, etc. Although I must drive an hour to get to my previous dentist, I will do so in order to receive quality dental care.

I want to end this post by saying I WISH THAT I HAD A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE HERE. Maybe someday in an emergency situation, I will be forced to use this practice. If my experience changes or I have an update I will post here.

I had 2 rough, sleepless nights wrestling with an excruciating toothache. I called Lago Dental Center this morning, and even though I was a new patient and they had a full schedule, they agreed to squeeze me in today. I never felt "squeezed in". In fact, everyone there made me feel quite special! I am actually looking forward to having my tooth extracted. Never thought I would ever say that. Thanks, Dr. Grigor and the rest of you there. I appreciate you all.

Very pleased. She's very good and very gentle. My Husband is 70's and did not want to go at all. She let me stay in the room with him and I brought his own blanket and she will do a lot of work at one time. He had a crown and root canal and fillings. She is former military and lives close by. She has said that at times she's had to do emergency calls after hours. Totally recommend. She works with Humana and Medicare.

I am new to the Lago Vista area and wanted to find a local dentist for my family that I could trust. Dr. Grigor and her staff completely surpassed my expectations. They went above and beyond to help me with my own dental and orthodontic needs, and were extremely helpful in working with me while my grand daughter was in town for 3 weeks and needed oral surgery. They were so attentive and concerned for her that I was even brought to tears. I would definitely recommend Dr. Grigor and her staff and look forward to my next visit!

I went here today as a walk in patient. From the moment I walked in the door everybody was so nice. I had an absest tooth that had to be pulled. They apologized because it was going to be 30 min! Are you kidding me, that was great news to me! They took me back (less than quoted time) into a big room with a big window with a beautiful view of hill country, which helped with my nerves.

The hygienist came in took x-ray and was as nice as she could be. Next came Dr Bonny Grigor, She was so nice and explained everything she was going to do. They seemed to really care about what I was going thru. After numbing my mouth well, they extracted my tooth. I was in and out in less than an hour, without any appointment. Also reasonably priced. So thank you all very much, for making something I dreaded into an all right experience

Really nice staff and the dentists are great. We have been seeing Dr. Carlyon for a few years and have been very happy. He recently added a new dentist to the staff, Bonnie, who may be even better. Not only is she engaging, funny and a great dentist, she hums along to the office music while she works sometimes which I found really charming.
