Dr. Kohler is by far the best dentist I have ever had. I've had a good bit of work done lately and each time I am left feeling like I just had a world-class experience from a true expert. He's patient, skilled, gentle, and explains what he is doing very well. Beyond that, his staff and office team are awesome. I also purchased a unique teeth-cleaning system he invented, which has really helped. Very good COVID protocols, too: High quality HEPA filters, staff wear good masks. 10/10.

Dr. Kohler is a spectacular dentist! Dr. Kohler will do anything he possibly can to save your teeth and try to prevent you from having major issues in the future. Dr. Kohler has not just helped fix my teeth but has motivated me to take care of my teeth now more than ever. Dr. Kohler is an expert with teeth traction. If you want a perfect bite, this is the place to visit. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. The office is very helpful when I've had emergency issues or needed a quick adjustment.

Dr. Kohler pays attention to all the details and incorporates video and microscopic dentistry. He spoke about my dental X-rays in depth which showed me for the first time just how much those X-rays can communicate.

His exam was comprehensive and thorough. He was honest, direct, straightforward, and enjoyable to interact with. He is well connected in the industry and his practice uses top-notch equipment. I am so glad my wife and I went to Dr. Kohler.

Dr Craig Kohler is the best dentist I have ever been to. Friendly staff, especially Brandon. It was a wonderful experience as my tooth came out perfect. The anesthetic he administered barely hurt unlike the hook method and I couldn't feel a thing. He's the artist of dentistry.

Dr. Craig Kohler and his whole office gave me the best experience I've ever had at a dentist! I appreciated him taking video and explaining everything to me on the big screen. He even uses a microscope while doing his work. You can tell he actually cares about my teeth and health which makes me feel like he cares for me as a person. It was easy to see Dr. Kohler is passionate about his work and loves his job and is well educated.

He even invented this really cool toothbrush with attachments and a light so you can clean your teeth well. The staff was welcoming, kind, warm hearted and good at their job! You should definitely go to this dentist.

Pain management is a priority at Dr. Kohler's office! I've been seeing Dr. Kohler for all my dentistry needs for about 6 years now and can't say enough good things about him, his staff, and his office. The first thing I noticed after multiple visits of regular cleanings is that the office is constantly changing. This is great because it means Dr. Kohler is staying on top of the constant advances in the industry and has the latest technology.

This is very important when it comes to pain management, which is very important to me. Second, his staff is highly trained and they actually listen to you. They've been great in helping me build on my regular cleaning regimen which has led to less visits! I've referred multiple friends and family to Dr. Kohler's office, and will continue to do so. I suggest you get yourself there too.

Beautiful and careful people. Very professional, honest and kind. High bio-security protocols. A huge plus, they spoke several languages which make the space very friendly, so you feel extremely comfortable.

I had my first cleaning with Dr. Kohler and I'm truly blown away by his detail and precision. Not only was his work exceptional, he educated me on things previous dentists have not. I drove all the way from Lombard to see him and I will gladly continue.

All the staff are friendly & very attentive. The office is clean & they have everything you could need to be comfortable from massage chair to personal face wipes after your treatment. Dr. Kohler is very knowledgeable, kind & attentive to all the details. He took all the time I needed to understand & to get my treatment just right. I would highly recommend his office. It's in a great location & accessible by train as well.

My family and I just moved to Wilmette from Chicago and i was in the market for a new dentist, wanted someone local to support my new community's economy. Came across Dr. Kohler on google as his office is walking distance from my house and he has good reviews. I just needed an annual check-up with x-rays and a cleaning. To make a long story short I had probably one of the WORST experiences at a dentist office that I have ever had in my 36 years.

Funny thing it had nothing to do with the Dr. or the cleaning itself, but I was yelled at by the office manager. After spending 2.5 hours listening to everything that was wrong with my teeth and the extensive and expensive work I need to get done, I was hit by the surprise that they ARE NOT IN NETWORK (even though I had sent all the information and called ahead of time to confirm)! Dr. Kholer and his associate were pleasant and knowledgeable but Heike the office manager was unprofessional, disrespectful and just plain mean.

I don't know if she was having a bad day or if it had to do with me being brown when mostly all of her other patients are presumably white, but I have never been treated like this ever! She yelled at me saying if I didn't want to pay a $200 deductible I should get better insurance. She lied saying that she had told me their practice is out of network and that "it might say so on the website" (BTW, it doesn't or at least I couldn't find it anywhere).

I had to tell her to stop raising her voice, I was in tears, shaking, and couldn't speak because of how upset I was and Dr. Kohler let it happen! His office manager was raising her voice to a patient in the middle of the lobby and the only thing he apologized for was the "miscommunication about the insurance coverage". I ended up paying $50 for an exam and cleaning when my insurance would have completely covered it, I got yelled at (that was free, I think) and called my husband crying! That was my afternoon at Kholer Dentistry. Would not recommend.

Doctor Kohler and his staff are truly wonderful and make patients as comfortable as possible. The office is very clean and the technology used is top notch. I've been looking for a trustworthy and experienced dentist since moving to the area and am so glad I ended up here. Highly recommended.

Craig is extremely dedicated to providing the most state of the art dental care. He is a dentist that you can trust to do what is best for you. He is a person of integrity.

My kids (4 and 5) and I have been going to Dr Kohler for about 2 years now. He is a very thorough and outstanding dentist. His initial consultation will tell you things about your mouth you never knew. The cleanings I have received from his dental hygienist Tamara, is the best I have ever received. One time my wife asked if I had my teeth whitened after when all I got was a cleaning.

They have been great with my little ones and they have always gone back to the receive their checkups by themselves. After my kids very first visit, Dr Kohler noticed my little ones had a abnormally small airway and referred us to a unaffiliated specialist. My kids have been experiencing speech problems, hearing issues and breathing problems. We are very thankful he noticed and we have begun treatment at his recommendation with Dr Kevin Boyd. I have also had a couple fillings done with Dr Kohler and they have been top notch with little pain. I highly recommend his practice.

I always enjoy visiting Dr. Koehler. Not only do I get a thorough assessment of what's going on with my teeth, but I also learn so much about the daily dynamics of my eating and chewing habits. He uses video technology to show you his process which is a refreshing self disclosing accountability. Because of this, he is incredibly skilled at assessment and addressing the challenges of my teeth.

I wouldn't recommend another dentist to anyone. As a sidenote me and my family relocated to South Florida and I refuse to find another dentist. I fly back to Chicago and make sure that I schedule time to visit him if I have any dental issues or questions. Since my family are also patients, I do the same for them. It's like finding a therapist.

Once you find a good one, it makes no sense to start all over again with someone who doesn't know you and who may only serve your needs in part. We know that with Dr. Koehler, all of our needs will be met and then some!

Craig Kohler uses advanced technologies to provide innovative solutions. Recently, the post in my upper front bridge broke the root of the tooth to which it was attached. Craig used the microscope and video recording equipment (along with the usual rubber molds) to remove the broken shard, trim the two teeth associated with the bridge down to the gum line, add fillings to them, and then provide the lab with sufficient information to allow them to configure an extension to my existing upper partial which was, at once, both tight-fitting and comfortable.

This leaving of the roots in place will act to minimize future bone loss in a 74-year-old mouth which, unfortunately, includes soft teeth and a 600 pound bite. Craig keeps me going in spite of my inborn dental weaknesses!

Dr. Kohler and his staff are truly the best. He is an amazing dentist who uses all the most updated equipment to manage patients' dental problems. He is caring and smart and listens closely to what patients have to say. I am so glad I have him for my dentist.

So, it's been almost 5 years since my first appointment and the service provided by Dr. Kohler and his staff has yet to disappoint. The team is positive and upbeat no matter the time of day (or year, this has been a rough winter!), and my concerns are always top priority during my visit. I love that this office specializes in pain management.

Any twinge of discomfort is met with an immediate stop, a closer look, and resumed only when I'm ready. I've referred quite a few friends and have only had positive feedback. Dr. Kohler even saved me money by adjusting my current night guard. I honestly thought I was going to have to buy another $800 device. Nope! A little filing here and adding material there and boom, good as new (well almost). Also, they accept all major insurance companies, so it's really a win/win. I would share my favorite hygienist, but I'm selfish and, really, they're all fantastic!

Dr. Kohler is the best dentist I have ever interacted with and he does high quality work. Not only does he get the job done, but he teaches and informs you about the health of your mouth and teeth. I had to get some emergency work done during the holidays and he moved his schedule around just to meet my needs. He took such good care of me and made me feel incredibly comfortable. If you're looking for an outstanding dentist that cares about you as a person and the health of your mouth - I highly recommend setting up an appointment with Dr. Kohler.

I have been keeping my mouth happy and healthy for over a decade by visiting Dr. Kohler and his staff. They are all highly skilled, intelligent and thoughtful. On my last visit, Dr. Kohler again solved a problem by using the least invasive and expensive option first. It worked, and my bite feels better now! I would highly recommend him and this office. He also teaches at Northwestern and lectures around the world.

I have been bring my elementary school son there for 3 years. I have no complain about the regular clean ups. However, the red flag came when he determined that my 7 yr old needed braces and referred us to this related orthodontist of his. He is still missing 2 teeth. All his teeth are straight we lots of gaps. When I asked why, he gave me a most superficial reason.

I went to a family friend dentist far away, which happen to be a world renown dentist, had a panaramic xray scan. The verdict is, no need for braces, probably never need it. I am extremely disappointed at the money grabbing nature of the dentistry business.

I can't say enough positively about the superior service I have received from Dr. Kohler and his highly professional staff. its a great place. Every member of the staff makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Kohler is very aware of patient comfort and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and without pain - it really show he cares.

His skill set and knowledge base are awesome. He performed some extensive work on my mouth and gave me the smile I always dreamed of. He provided me with a wide range of options and let me decide the course of action. He did not try to tell me I needed this or that. He said these are my options and this is what he recommends I do. I like the honesty and professionalism.

I found Dr. Kohler in the new beauty magazine and thought I would make an appointment. I haven't been pleased with a dentist in years and although he is an hour away I was willing to take a chance. I have NEVER been so pleased with a dentist. His examination was so thorough and his staff is so friendly that I felt right at ease. I had the best cleaning of my life and even made an appointment for my 7 year old. She loves going to Dr. Kholer's office. He has made her dental experience an exciting one. I will continue to be a patient of his for years to come.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Dr. Kohler's office. My 5-year old had an accident and we needed urgent dental attention. It was a Saturday, and our prior dentist did not have Saturday hours. I called Dr. Kohler's office and they got us in immediately. My daughter is typically afraid of doctor visits, but Dr. Kohler went above and beyond to make her feel at ease.

In addition to speaking gently and kindly to her, he even sang to her! I was also impressed with Dr. Kohler because he didn't just tell me what was wrong and what we should do about it, but he used the x-rays to show me a big picture view of my daughter's dental health. This said volumes to me about how Dr. Kohler sees his patients and their health. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Very disappointed with a $99 initial consultation for cosmetic dentistry. Although this dentist may be skilled, I left with a poor impression and will not return. His staff was gracious. He was not. I have since seen another dentist, who gained my trust and made me comfortable, two things this dentist was unable to do.

Wonderful staff, Dr Kohler is the best in the area. He uses the latest hi tech equipment to examine your teeth and does his job with a lot of professionalism. Prices are in line with with the quality of the services provided. Very recommended.

Dr. Kohler is great with kids! My 12 year old son has a lot of anxiety, especially concerning dental visits, but Dr. Kohler made the whole experience go extremely well. He was able to get the needed dental work done while keeping my son relaxed and cooperative, which I was not at all sure would be possible. I highly recommend Dr. Kohler!

I never would have guessed a guy like Dr. Kohler would be shady, but he is. He signed me up for Invisalign in October. I asked him repeatedly if there was any option lower than the price point I was paying, since I was only getting five trays (for an extremely minor adjustment). He told me no, and reiterated that there were only two price points to Invisalign per that company (which was out of his hands): the ten-trays-and-under price and ten-trays-and-over price. Well, in a sudden change of life circumstances, my husband got a job across the country and we had to move during the course of my treatment.

Finding a new dentist to monitor my Invisalign on the west coast would be no problem. if Dr. Kohler had been truthful. After some investigation, it turns out he signed me up for the FIVE tray Invisalign treatment, which he had lied about even existing, charged me for the ten-tray package and pocketed the difference. I called him on this bs and he stumbled a bit, but eventually refunded me close to the difference I paid and was extremely rude about it.

I was still out much more money than had he just been forthright with me from the beginning, but I have bigger worries in my life than chasing a few hundreds dollars from this guy. The work he does is okayish but I do NOT recommend him. EDIT - Dr. Kohler's office has responded, but don't believe a word of it. If they were innocent in this deal, they wouldn't have paid me off, would they?

A pleasant doctor at the most. I felt that he had a pretty extreme assessment of my teeth, without barely touching them. IN addition, gave a very suggestive "heads up" to the hygenist (sp) as well. He was quick to judge my previous dentist based on xrays forwarded over and was basically assuring me he had the best equipment and my other dentist was outdated (not the case at all). I felt he used a lot of scare tactics to have work done on my teeth. Overall meh. I didn't go through any work with him and won't be going back.

I met Dr. Kohler a few months ago and decided to make the switch after having some issues with some recently redone fillings. Turned out the old fillings weren't done very well and I had new cavities under the new fillings. sweet! He does the most thorough exams I've ever seen. He even uses this cool video/exam camera and then shows you on a large LCD TV what he's doing and why.

He has a great pain control system, you barely even notice the needle, so if you're pain-phobic, DDS. Kohler is your guy. A couple of my teeth had some major work (see other reviews) and he's great at making sure you have the best opinions and specialists view your mouth. Simply put, he's more than a tooth doctor. His goal is to have you keep your teeth and to put a great smile on your face.
