I came across this dental office in Sears (yea, I was shocked too!) by chance actually calling around for a Saturday cleaning for my kids and I - needless to say Saturday dental practices seem to be non-existent! Anyways, my first initial thought walking in was 'ok, the 2016 memo didn't make it here' but the hygienist and doc is so sweet and professional that I walked away totally blown away by how knowledgeable they were. There's something to be said about an 'old school approach' to dentistry.

No fluff, no state of the art equipment, but by God the best dentist I've been to. Kudos! A little piece of heaven tucked away in Sears. For the record, I still do hate going to the dentist.

I came here to day that this guy is the worst dentist I've ever had. Rough with the cleaning, miss my teeth and hit my gums with his stabs, and handled the power rotating tools with more force than was necessary and resulted in damaging my gums on the exterior and a lot of pain. I will not return again. Re: owners comments, you either misremembered or are lying.

I had insurance. You never offered any anesthesia. It's been about 2 years since I had even a cavity. This is just a FYI for you and other customers in future, pay more attention when cleaning and be more gentle. I won't be coming back either way, so this is for your own sake.

The Dental Center is a quality dental practice. It's great that at this office they have Oral Surgeons, periodontists and general dentists. It's a one-stop shop I think they take practically all insurances! Which is awesome! Dr. Koerber the owner is a great dentist. He really cares about his patients and his staff all have great service, they even won a Diamond certification award for outstanding service which is really cool. I highly recommend this office for you and your family!

I have been with Dr. K and his staff for almost two years now. I came to him after going 5 years with very few teeth and in very bad shape. Dr. K and his staff worked with me consistently and today I have a great new smile. I don't have to worry about high priced "extras" like movies and music to get you thru your dental appt. This is genuine, thoughtful, caring dentistry done with the best interest of the patient, not the practice. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking genuine affordable dentistry. Dr. K and his staff have been wonderful.

I have known this dentist for over 18 years and have had all my dental work done by him and would never even consider going anywhere else! I live on the other side of the Bay and routinely drive all the way over there just for my regular check-ups. I know its a hassle however, it has always been worth it. I don't have insurance so I pay the prevailing charge on my last crown which was nearly $1200.00 I don't understand why someone would bitch about $640? Sounds like he has more of an issue with not getting his way then a problem with the dentist or just didn't pay close enough attention to his dental insurance and wants to blame someone for his inability to accept responsibility!

This dentist has been more than worth the drive. If you want to have a great dental experience reasonable cost and a dentist that has a lot of experience this is the dentist to see.

This place is excellent. We only went for wisdom teeth extractions from Dr. Murphy, not normal dental care. One person from our family had the wisdoms out, all went very well except for a reaction to a pain killer (patient problem, not doctor.) He was kind enough look up which drug so he wouldn't use it on our second family member. Unfortunately, for the second time we went there for the consultation but we were unable to have the actual extraction--BUT what made us come write the review on yelp is that they sent back everything, including the consultation fee that we had already gone too! Excellent service.

Avoid this dentist at all cost. I have never written a review but felt compelled to in this case. First of all, he smokes and stinks when he is working on you. Second, his unpleasant receptionist admitted to my face that they charge as much as they can in "additional fees" allowable through your insurance--in my case, my insurance had a clause that says they can charge whatever they want for lab fees, which means they tried to charge me $640 for one crown!

My insurance says it should cost me just $240, and that is exactly what my new dentist is charging me. The Dental Center at Sears will shaft you, and even worse, he is not a good dentist--he seems about ready to retire, does not talk to you or explain what is going on, and seems generally surly. RUN, don't walk, from this place!

This office doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. It's a good, reasonably priced dentist's office inside Sears. The quality of the dental care is excellent. The atmosphere, last time I visited, was a little bit "no frills" but the people are very nice and also efficient. The dentist has been around for a while and I'm sure he's seen it all. He knows what he's doing. Much better than my current dentist (I moved).

I have never been to a Dental office that is as bad as this. And what annoyed me more was the Dentist and his total lack of professionalism and people skills in general. I seriously doubt his credentials as a Dentist. To say the least, my first visit was so bad that I switched to a different Dental offices as soon as I walked out of that office. And believe it or not, he had serious bad breadth.
