Kids Dentist - Sahar Alrayes

To begin with the front office is rude. My son had $1k in dental work here including crowns. His crown came off after a month and a half. They wanted pictures of the crown before they make an appointment. Then after sending tell me it'd be almost a month before they could get him in. My son is 9 he isn't prying off a crown. They put me on a cancellation list and said they could possibly get him in sooner.

No emergency appointments apparently. They call and say they have a cancellation so I take the first available. I take my son in and they don't numb him with anything other than topical lidocaine and just start trying to push it in. Poking at gums around it with tools and at this point ask him if he's okay and he said no but apparently kept going.

They cut his gum pushing in the crown again and then apply a few drops of something for pain. It isn't enough. By the time they send my son out (you aren't allowed to go back with them) I can see he's about to break down. I owed $42 after the last appointment (for the crown that came off). They call you when your child is done to come get them.

The front office said I needed to come in to check out. So their concern is money and not the care and well being of a child. Can't spring for any pain meds when they can't bill you or insurance obviously. They already knew my son has a phobia of dentists and seem to want to continue that.

Always the best. My kids have been coming here for 15 years and they just feel so comfortable and at ease. The staff cares a lot about their comfort and are always smiling. Lisa is an absolute gem, the very best!

Horrible front office. Once they identify your coverage, they will try and squeeze every service they can out of you, needed or not. They aren't the only kids dentists in the area. look elsewhere!

We can not recommend Kids Dentist enough. Our kids love going here. The kids love their prizes. I'm kind of jealous I can't go here myself! Cathy, Lisa and the other new woman (who worked on Katelynn.sorry) are so friendly. The staff always going above and beyond to make our kids feel comfortable. All the dentist assistances are wonderful. It's always a very clean office. It is such a welcoming place. 10 stars if I could.

Only because i have to give a star am I giving it one star. unless you want your parenting questioned i would suggest going somewhere else. My children both have terrible teeth its genetic there dad did their grandmother did, uncle etc. Anyways we brought my son in because he had been complaining about a toothache and i wanted to get him in right away.

They saw him but we were told we can't just see him on Emergency. Which i understand but with Covid and everything else in the world they wanted 5000 to take care of the problems with his mouth and unfortunately i just don't have that kind of money to put down so i take him when a problem arises or i take him when in patches. But to have someone call you ask you whats going on and then to say and i quote "well we are willing to work with you, but we want to make sure you are taking care of your son his teeth are bad" but to assume its because i don't take care of my child and to question my parenting is hurtful!

I brought my daughter here because she has a fear of dentists and a friend of hers goes there. They are very good with kids although the dentist recommended some pretty extreme procedures that I have since gone to other dentists to get a second opinion! They wanted to do root canals and crowns on my seven years old's baby teeth. I took her to another place that does less invasive care for preserving teeth that have cavities until the adult teeth come in.

If you do decide to go to this dentist, make sure you keep your appointment reminder sheets. I took off work months in advance, and called to confirm my appointment, and they said no appointment was scheduled. They were not apologetic at all, very rude about the whole situation.

Ive had great experiences here. Until I called them to schedule an appointment for my 5 year old who has a cracked tooth. they made me an appointment for 8 days later (even after I told them shes been nonstop crying in pain). So my 5 year old is suppose to be in extreme pain for over a week? You dont leave spots for emergencies? For this I will be switching my children to a new dentists office. **when I called back to cancel bc I found a pedatric dentist who was able to get me in today the woman who asked where my childs pain was located marked her down for a teeth cleaning (not a cracked tooth). really?!

My son was very nervous and hated the dentist so we decided the switch. I am so glad we did. He almost loves it here. And it has been so much easier for not just him but me as well because a childs fear causes alot of stress for the parents as well. They make sure they are comfortable and know what is going on at all times. If you are thinking about coming please do. The ease for your child will be worth it!

My son's first dentist appointment, such as fun and warm environment. The staff are super friendly and experienced, it went WAY better than I thought. We got stickers and toys!

Amazing doctor and staff! I had 3 kids in one appointment and they were so patient and nice! They handled them with so much care and love! Did i also mention the toys and playstations they had around! Awesome! Thank you Dr Sonia, you and your staff are amazing! We ll always come here and so will all our family and friends!

We loved everything about our first visit to see the team at Kids Dentist. They have a great waiting area for kids and the staff was amazing. Very friendly and took their time to make my 2 year old feel comfortable. Wish I had a dentist office like that when I was growing up!

Every single interaction with the team at Kids Dentist has been excellent! First impressions - The person on the phone was easy to talk to, understood our needs and helped get us a schedule at the earliest. At the clinic - The dentist we met was Dr. Dave and he did a great job in explaining things to us, allaying our fears as parents while also sharing tips for general dental care for a baby.

As for his little patient (our 1 yr old) she didn't even realize she was seen by a doctor - thats how effortless he was! His knowledge and expertise was very much evident and we knew we were in good hands. The clinic itself is done very well. Vibrant and lots of play stuff for kids of different ages. The highlight to me was the X-Box game station!

Each of the patient consultation rooms are done up in different themes. Ours was a space shuttle theme and looked simply beautiful. No one likes a visit to the dentist and this sure is a nice way to keep the little ones engrossed while here. Definitely recommend for your kiddos dental needs. PS: While here, don't miss the Yelp Check In gift. It was available during our visit and was an awesome kit from Oral-B worth around $50.

We absolutely love the entire staff at Kids Dentist! Everyone takes the time to make the kids feel at ease and comfortable during the entire exam & experience. The dental assistants and hygienists are so sweet. The reception staff is so welcoming as well. Dr. Reena, Dr. Karrie and Dr. Dave are phenomenal. They are all so friendly and professional, I wish they took adults as patients too!

Kids Dentist is a phenomenal group of pediatric dentists! They have been providing excellent care for my sons for over 15 years! The office & staff are kind, professional And caring. They have helped to make my guys comfortable in a dentist's office which is great!

This was our first visit! And we were so happy with our experience! We feel very confident and happy with the decision we made in choosing our daughters dentist. Facility looks clean, and so welcoming for kids of all ages! Everyone was so welcoming and Dr. Reena, she was great. Definitely knows how to make kids feel more comfortable! From my first impression, this will be my daughters dentist for the long run!

Great place for the kids, they put them at ease and make them 100% comfortable! They do their best to explain what your dental plan can/can't do as well so there's no sticker shock either. Book your appointments early though, they fill up quick

We have recently moved from the area so I decided to choose a different dentist and it was such a mistake. The other dentist and hygienist really didn't attempt to make the children comfortable first. The hygienist would leave big clumps of cleaner all over my children's face and the dentist really didn't have a good repore with with children.

So glad I decided to go back to the Kid's Dentist in Grayslake. Love this dentist office. All the staff are so nice. Our hygienist, Cathy, is always patient, caring and is amazing with my kids. The dentists here have been just as friendly and detailed. Dr Dave and Kerrie are great. No one gets frustrated, children's teeth always come out clean as well as their faces. Most importantly they are happy and smiling during the whole process. (Kids are toddler and preschool age) Thank you!
