Q: I tried to call your office for a cleaning, but the lady told me I had to get a full-mouth set of x-rays and an exam. I don't think I need all that since they were just checked at another office not too long ago and they were fine. Why can't I just get a simple cleaning? A: Under state law, dentists (and only dentists) can diagnose gum disease prior to its treatment.

Was a patient as a child through high school. At every 6 month cleaning I was told I had numerous cavities that would require being filled. (After they had already been sealed as well) Last appointment in his office prior to leaving for UF, I was told I had 3 cavities and said I would wait until I moved to have them filled.needless to say I went to have them taken care of at UF Dentistry and was told I didn't have any, nor have I had a single one since moving in 1999.
When I asked for previous records again in approx. 2006, I wasn't given any written documentation and was told they would only release x-rays, nothing beyond that. Still upset I most likely had all my teeth filled to benefit the lining of his pockets.

He's only the best dentist ever! Always makes me feel comfortable. He knows being in the dentist chair is not my favorite place to be lol! Had a horrible experience at a local dentist office before coming. to him. My first visit there I white knuckled it I was so nervous, but that all changed as he and his assitant worked on my tooth and talked to me and made sure I was doing ok. His whole staff is awesome! Only dentist I will go to. Love that he sings while he works too.

Doctor Snyder is a great dentist that always takes the time to assist in helping you understand the procedures your having or in need of. The staff is always very cheerful and pleasant to be around. He will not be the cheapest dentist in town, but when it comes to your teeth, it's quality over price.
